Well, my land is large with a beautiful stream flowing the property line. Tall hard woods mixed with pines and a huge pasture for looking at stars at night. There is a known Indian grave yard located here and the spirits show up in photos. Learn more about this land: If you want to get away and be near the Uharrie mountains and Badin Lake and Lake Tillery we are located 30 min from the Uharrie Mountains and access to the lakes. Fishing, boating, horse riding, hiking some of NC best kept secrets. Enjoy farm life on a real working farm or stay hidden in a remote area of the farm.  Minutes away from the golfing capitol of the south....Pinehurst, Southern Pines, Aberdeen NC  134 acres with a rambling creek running thru the property.  Tall pines and hardwoods with wild flowering spring bushes.  deer and wild turkeys love  this place.  Bathrooms and shower . Jane is extremely welcoming. Her property is beautiful and really well laid out. Her plans for the future of this property are going to make it even better. Jane is always making this property better. I definitely encourage you to drop by and enjoy what she’s built already!

Shadow Hill Farm and Retreat
I enjoyed camping overnight at Jane's place. Nice space which was very quiet and peaceful. Jane came by to meet us. She is very nice.

Close to Pinehurst

This is a great spot not far from Pinehurst. The camping area is large enough where you can be out in the open and visible to a house about 200 yards across the road, or tucked in the trees and hidden from view. There is a slight slope to the camping area but not too bad and easy to level if you have a leveling kit for a camper or van. Price is slightly above average but there are not many hipcamps in the area. There are three roosters and a goose on property that were definitely curious but didn't come all the way down to the camp site to visit us. Quiet and peaceful!

Camped in RTT on a pickup with the Jeep on a trailer. Friendly and accommodating host- we showed up late and she answered her phone right away. Plenty of space at the site. Nice views of a starry sky. Isolated enough to feel private. Very fair price. The only issue- rooster out there doing its morning thing from about 4 am through 8 am when we had to hit the road so earplugs would be my only recommendation there.
