Underhill Inn is a small homestead located in the Finger Lakes region tucked in the rolling hills near Dryden Lake. We have a small garden, a flock of sheep and chickens, hives of honeybees and countless wild foraging on our 36 acres of pasture and hiking trails.     Take a walk down to Brockendock pond and cruise across the water in a canoe or paddleboat to find peepers, heron, toads and turtles. Drop a line in the water to catch trout, bass and sunnies. The chicken coop is always bustling and there are plenty of eggs to harvest each day. A morning hike on the trails usually kicks up the deer and wild turkeys and at night the barn owl will sing for you if you listen close. Adults and children are welcome to pet and feed the animals on the farm. There are farm tours available where you can learn more about our mushroom garden, composting techniques, blueberries, felting, and more.

Hilltop Campsite
Miss it already
The hilltop site was perfect! Super quiet. Far away from other sites. Beautiful pond. Rick is a great host and answered all my questions promptly.

Great time, would stay again!
We loved camping on Rick's land, it was beautiful and spacious. There were several other people tent camping near by, everyone had plenty of privacy. Wood was delivered to our site and the compost toilet was only a few steps away. Had a blast!!

Pond Side Bell Tent
Loved the site and tent that we stayed at over the Jul 4 weekend. The site is shaded under a lot of trees which was nice as it was a hot and humid weekend. The pond nearby was nice to fish and I caught a few largemouth bass there as well. In the evening there were lots of fireflies. Overall loved the site as it was super secluded and felt very private. Rick even stopped by our site and gave us some homemade blueberry jam!

Incredible Stay
My group loved our stay at Underhill Hilltop campsite. The property was amazing with a pond, blueberry fields, sheep, chickens, and cows in the surrounding area. The property had everything you need to tent camp for a couple days: water pump, outdoor shower, and outhouse. We had a great time and would recommend to anyone tent camping. Rick was a great host and very accommodative.

Pond Side Bell Tent
Solo female camper + 🐏🐂🐿🐇🐸🦆🐓
I enjoyed my stay on this site. The pond was pretty and the site was very private. For a solo female camper, i felt very safe here. The bell tent at this time is not on a platform as it's getting rebuilt,I would only assume due to the trees being much more established than in the photos shown. Even now with the tent being on the ground, the branches do now hit the tent (so get ready for some insane squirrels running on the roof). Speaking of insane animals...the sheep in the field next to the site were so cute and hysterically vocal. Nature was booming here, lots of beautiful birds too. The only thing I would mention is, in finding the site, I went the wrong way around the pond and got a bit confused but eventually found camp ( if you pass chickens and get to the shed with an arrow on it, you evidently missed that red barrel like I did) just keep going to the right and around the pond. Best advice is,just wonder around until you find the water by the large barn. Also,if you face the pond from camp, there is a compostable toilet just to the Left of camp. Get the blueberry jam and the ground Lamb from the farm, I made delicious burgers!
