I really enjoyed camping on Cindy’s land! This is a wonderful place to stay, especially if you want to sleep outside and still have all the amenities, like a really nice shower and bathrooom, close by. Cindy and her friend Velia were very friendly and helpful with anything we needed, and were very responsive. The fenced in yard wa perfect for my dog as he got to be outside, off leash, for the entire stay. I would definitely recommend Cindy’s Hipcamp, and I would stay here again next time I’m in Idyllwild.

Beautiful property, neatly maintained; access to deck, deluxe shower/bathroom, TV, and kitchenette shared with other campers. Friendly and welcoming hosts. 3 of 4 sites are shaded with scrub oak. 4th site gets full sun.

Excellent location, clean and level sites, and truly first-rate amenities, such that you would NEVER find at government (or most private) campgrounds. Even with a basic tent setup (just always have a good mattress/bedding) it's way better than "glamping," as you have two comfy patio chairs, table, and electricity at your site, and access to an exceptionally clean and modern shared indoor space with everything you really need at home (a shower that may well be an upgrade from your home, fridge, microwave, dining table/area, coffee, tv, etc. . . and I doubt you're yurt or souped-up vintage camper rental comes with the most comfortable electric reclining sofa you've ever sat on). If you think all these comforts take away from the "camping'" vibe/aspect, then just rough it to your preference at your site/tent. No one will force you to stream your favorite TV show while reclining in the most comfortable position ever, if you're bored and can't sleep right away . . .
The host couldn't be more friendly and helpful. 6 Stars out of 5!

Cindy’s place is great! So close to the downtown area and it feels very safe. Right next to the site you have 24/7 access to a very nice bathroom and shower. A great place for 2 nights for a solo traveler. Cindy was so kind and welcoming upon arrival and very prompt in communication. Would definitely stay here again!

I really enjoyed camping on Cindy’s land! She had three spaces available, each with a space for parking, a gas cooking/ heating stove, hammock, and seating and a table. I enjoyed the common area which was well furnished, with AC, clean restrooms and a shower, as well as a refrigerator and coffee. Made my nights and mornings easy! The space was about a 5-10 minute walk from a couple nearby hiking trails, and close enough for a few minute drive to some other ones.

Great place to stay! The indoor common area with the bathroom, shower, fridge, microwave and sink was so nice to have and very clean. Host greeted us right away and was so kind. Would definitely stay here again!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights and it was such a great experience! We were so close to several trail heads that if we wanted to, we would’ve never needed to drive during our stay. Cindy was such a wonderful and sweet host! She greeted us right when we got there and showed us around. Her home is beautiful and she has turned parts of her property into the perfect getaway for campers. There is a very clean and size-able hangout space, with a full bathroom, fridge and lots more! We would highly recommend Cindy’s home for your next adventure in Idyllwild!

My daughter and I spent two nights here and had a wonderful stay. The host, Cindy, was warm and welcoming. She provided fresh towels, and the entire property was immaculate. The bathroom was clean, neat, and we both enjoyed relaxing hot showers. My daughter especially loved the board games and the hot chocolate Cindy had available. We’ll definitely be back!

Cindy was a great host! The shower and restroom were great amenities to have. The town and a few trails were not far either. My girlfriend and I had a great time here! Definitely recommend.

The staff at this site was exceptional! It was very cold stay and on both nights both the hosts offered extra blankets and plenty of hot chocolate! This place was awesome!

Camped here on a very cold night with friends and kiddos. Hosts were amazingly kind and welcoming. Such a wonderful space in such a beautiful place- all while the colors are transforming around. Kiddos loved exploring the area and were so excited to pick some apples and tomatoes. The inside space with shared amenities is really great. The propane fire pit at the camp site added the perfect touch with observance of no campfires. So grateful for the lovely experience.

I am a light sleeper and the sites are close to the road. Also, I would definitely book both sites as they are tight and very close to each other. The construction didn’t help but hopefully they will be done soon. The separate loft was a plus with a shower, bathroom, microwave, coffee and fridge. I had an overland truck tent and that pretty much covered one spot. I had a hard time with parking it. But someone was there to help me and I was so appreciative! The host was prompt in communicating. It was cold! It feels safe and secure.
