This site has a canoe and a row boat and the best spectacular sunset views. The eagle's nest is in a tall pine tree above the steps! BOB LAKE WEST Waterfront is our only site that is not on this dead end road. It is located on the west side of the lake near the boat landing. This site has a bonus small storage shed which could be a cool kids cabin. It is partially wooded elevated site with stunning sunrise views. WOODED RUSTIC is a non-waterfront campsite for both tents or RV's that has been updated to a site with power and water and includes access to the lake and a row boat at our common access which is only about 200 yards down the road from this site. Just 10 minutes from freeway access makes it a convenient stop for a quick overnight stay or weekend trip to explore the area. There is plenty to do in the area- So many yummy wineries, breweries, and restaurants. Fire wood, eggs, produce, and more is available for purchase on site. Along with renting a hammock during your stay. I give campers as much privacy as possible. I check in with you through Hipcamp when you book and then again after you arrive to ensure your needs are being met. If you would like to meet in person and share some of your favorite places to stay across the country, I would welcome that. I love to camp too! If you want the place to yourself, have a unique request, or have questions- please reach out! I like to say yes if I can. I have 3 rustic sites located on my 6 acre property. Each site is private, but you may see in the distance or hear others. Each site has its own firepit and picnic table, along with posts for hanging a hammock. Please be respectful during your visit. Weekend Trip to Belle Creek Bluff

Such a beautiful location, we felt so secluded! We saw deer, an eagle and a little downy woodpecker gave us a show on a tree just outside the screened in porch which was a favorite spot for our morning coffee and to listen to the rain. So peaceful . The water crossing was indeed a challenge with glacier cold water I decided to take a wrong step on a slippery rock and do a face plant in the cold water! With pretty much only my pride hurt (and a video my hubby happened to be taking of me at the time) it definitely made a memorable trip! We would definitely come back! And I were not to step now! ;)

We loved staying on Candace’s land! Our kids and dogs felt right at home. It was upscale tent camping. We had a great outdoor fire for breakfast, dinner, and s’mores and a great indoor fire to keep us warm on the cool fall nights. The beds were comfortable - especially when you’re used to a tent and a camping pad! And the house heated up so nicely. It was really nicely stocked - we normally bring tongs, spatula, etc. but there were some hung on the cabin which was a nice touch. It was really nice not to get service for a few days, enjoy the scenery, and bum around local towns. We’d absolutely stay again. ❤️

Such a great retreat from the city! I used the provided kayak for a sunset paddle and the firewood was at site as well. Gorgeous sunset and even better sunrise! Quiet, private, and the view was stunning. I took a bunch of photos to make oil paintings. Bob Ross! Haha The host was so great helping me back out on my tear drop’s maiden voyage. Nice guy! Thanks Adam! Only an hour from TC and plenty of places to stock up for needs along the way. Loved it.

Weekend Trip to Hoppensteadt Hills

Very last minute, I realized I needed to go camping: my stay in Site 1, Birch, was just what I was seeking for some nature nurturing. The site was private as promised (in fact I had whole campground to myself) and beautifully tucked in the woods. The yurt tent is well designed (side pockets, table in middle around center pole, also with pockets for stashing gear). Outhouse was a bit of a hike, though even the walk was pleasant, and so clean: the automatic light inside (and solar lights outside) was unexpected nice touch! I enjoyed the barred owl, sand hill cranes at night; great blue heron on one of our hikes on the property. I didn't think about it being duck hunting season, so the early morning and late evening distant gun sounds were scary for my dog, and the 2nd night fox barking was quite startling! But a good reminder we're in the woods! Maryam was helpful with answering questions during booking.

We had water & electric hook ups at our site. And we caught some good sized bass and small sun fish. We didnt have any luck with northern but also unfamiliar with the area so that'd be on us. ;) we are used to goijg to places where campers are on top of each other with lots and lots of amenities because we have little kids. This place was the opposite but we loved it just as much! This trip was for just my husband and myself for our 9 year anniversary. We'd definitely come back with our kids but would probably stay at the Eagles Nest campsite for that trip just for the dock. But could totally do the same one with our kids too.
