Come stay in our 45 wooded acres that run along the Apple River. Enjoy the sights and sounds of nature amongst the rolling hills. This property has been in our family for generations. Come, stay and enjoy our property as we have for over 80 years. We provide secluded campsites with easy access and parking next to each site. Enjoy walking through our park- like trails which run throughout the woods. Listen to the wildlife, sit by the campfire, or enjoy canoeing, kayaking, or fishing on Apple River, and many other nearby lakes that our town has to offer. Downtown Amery is 2 miles away from the property. Enjoy small-town attractions, such as breweries, gift, antique, and thrift shops, outdoor music, grocery stores, coffeeshops, local restaurants, and bars. You can take a day trip to many of other small towns nearby, such as: - Taylor Falls, for hiking or daily river cruises on St Corix River. Located only 20 minutes west of Amery. - Balsam Lake, for shopping, eateries, restaurants, and boating. Located only 20 minutes NW of Amery. -Osceola, take a hike and enjoy the views of Cascade Falls. Stroll around downtown's many shops located 20 minutes due west of Amery. -Marine on St Croix, and Stillwater which are under 45 minutes west. We are just over an hour from the Twin Cities. LOCAL ATTRACTIONS- Apple River-boating, canoeing, kayaking, swimming, and fishing. Access through public landing in downtown Amery 1 mile away. Site 4 - White Oak

Hosts were incredibly friendly, land was beautiful! This was our first ever Hipcamp experience and it did not disappoint! This was a true camping experience without the hassle of setting up our own tent! The tent itself was spacious and clean and I loved the layout of the campsite (the perfect hammock trees were an added bonus!). Campsite #4 is closest to the road so you do hear cars driving past from time to time. Not bothersome, but next time I’d probably book site #1. That being said, we didn’t see or hear any other campers during our trip!

Site 2 - Maple

Loved our stay. Great host! We really just wanted to relax on this trip so we didn’t leave the site much but we’d love to come back and canoe nearby and check out other surrounding activities.

Site 4 - White Oak

Shady, wooded site was nice. Mosquitoes seems to be bad everywhere in MN and WI due to so much rain I guess. Tent was great—spacious with nice screen windows. Site 4 is closest to highway, so kept dog close or on tie out.

Site 4 - White Oak

Great camping location.

The camp layout was awesome! The trees provided great shade, and perfect for a hammock. The tent was very spacious. Fire flys light up the night it was a very magical moment. A get away close enough to town in case of any needs.

Site 1 - Birch

We had an excellent night at Site 1 - Birch! Maryam was very kind and welcoming. The site was private and nicely laid out! The tent was very comfortable and well maintained. The port-a-potty by Site 2 was clean (a must with two kids, much time spent here!). A great experience and we'd love to come back in the future!

Site 4 - White Oak

We loved our time camping on this property. The host was very kind and the land was lovely. The tent was clean and didn’t have any bugs at all in it. I would recommend this site to anyone who wants to stay in a place that feels secluded but is still in reach of desired amenities. We plan on staying again.
