Loved camping on Tricia's land, the campsites were well sized and she was very accommodating. The surrounding land was a great view for sunrises, sunsets and you could even see the stars at night time. Would definitely consider camping here again.

It’s a very comfortable place and the 3 sites have plenty of space between. You are close to a county road but it’s not busy, so it didn’t bother us at all. Tricia is great and we bought firewood, asparagus and eggs - it was perfect. No electric but good for us. Thanks Tricia!

We loved camping on Tricia's land! The sites are big and spaced out well. They have fresh eggs and produce for purchase and i wish we got some before we left but forgot! They provided us with a cute welcome bin full of camping essentials. They were soo sweet, welcoming, communiative, and responded in a timely manner. They provided us with great suggestions of around the area! I would definitely come back!

This was a great location! Each site was a large, well mowed area with a picnic table, fire pit, and even a small container of other items to use. You can also buy firewood and seasonal produce from the host. The porta potty was well maintained. It's a little bit of a walk from the sites (particularly site 1) but not too bad. I would definitely stay here again if in the area. Site 3 looks like it would be the most private (though they are all pretty far from each other and the host) with the most shade. I really enjoyed my short time here!

Beautiful, quiet and relaxing setting! Tricia had everything available that we could possibly need including dishes, firewood, firepit and a picnic table. Site was large and easy to get in to. We will definitely be back!

Staying at Sassy Fox Acres was an amazing experience! The location is beautiful— a freshly mowed circle surrounded by enough tall wildflowers to make it private. We enjoyed the beautiful starry sky, cows lowing in the distance at night, goldfinches and butterflies. The site was immaculate. I tried to “leave it better” but there was literally not one scrap of litter to pick up. The best we could do was leave it as good as it was when we got there— which was wonderful. Many thanks!! We hope to visit again!

This is a great spot to spend a night! This is the most beautiful part of Wisconsin and the native wildflowers that Tricia is working to protect help accentuate the rolling hills. The site is sort of near a main road which may not suit everyone's wishes but we didn't hear any car noise in the evening so did not mind at all! Tricia leaves a lot of essentials for you which could be a life-saver if you need! And it's very convenient to add a few bundles of firewood to your hipcamp purchase and find them waiting for you upon arrival!

The signs made finding the property and site easy. The actual site was spacious and level. The clean restroom and little added amenities made me feel welcome staying there. The surrounding area and views are beautiful. Excellent overall experience.

Barefoot campers dream 💜

After an absolute beautiful drive through the driftless area, we got there just in time Friday to set up our tent before dark. The little extra touches like solar lights leading to the bathroom, little cubbies with extra wood to purchase were fantastic! The site was nice and fairly level and extremely well maintained, all soft lush grass! No prickers to be found! I would definitely bring a few more friends and stay again :)

I loved tent camping here! The views were incredible, we got to see a pretty sunset. It is a peaceful and relaxing campground. The bathroom was clean and well kept. I would come here again!😊

Very nice location and nice little details like the solar lights thar lined the oath to the outhouse, which was very clean. Nice little handwashing station. It was quiet, clean, and private.

From the layout of the campsites to the cleanliness of the bathroom area, Trica really has created a pleasant and welcoming place to camp. The hammocks were a nice added touch to relax and unwind along with the peace and quiet that encompassed the entire area. We would recommend to anyone who is looking for a great place to camp!

Supermoon weekend at Trica's!

This was an awesome place to tent camp! I came out here just for a quick little getaway for myself, and it was just what I needed. My main concern camping by myself was security,and I felt totally safe out here on Trica's family property. I stayed at site 3, and it wasn't part of my plan, but I was out there for the weekend of the Supermoon! It. Was. Gorgeous!! This is the perfect place to have a little getaway. Now, it's not like some super official campground, so if you're looking for the completely immersive experience,this is not it. There are neighbors across the street, and you will hear a few cars every now and then. The trees and forest do give a good sense of privacy, and I didn't have to worry about anything coming after my food or tent, which was nice. The only scary thing was I did hear... SOMETHING.... harmonically howling at the moon around 4am both nights...idk if the neighbors have a really in tune dog/wolf or something, but that was a little out there lol. It did come from the same direction both times, so I'm supposing it was a pet. Hopefully. Other than that, I enjoyed a clean campsite, a AMAZING view of the sun/moon, and a clean porta potty (which is a lil hike away from the 3rd site, and was a creepy walk in the dark, but was ok). I had a GREAT time, and will totally be back to glamp again in the spring. Trica was great at communicating,and I plan on sharing a campfire meal and some good stories next time I stay! Def recommend!

Really sweet and beautiful stay! Trica was incredibly easy going and accommodating. The place was so easy to find while still tucked away from the main highway. I got in so late, was so exhausted from my busy day and was delighted to listen to the symphony of night-time critters and even a pack of coyotes. Such a special piece of land, highly recommend!

What a beautiful site! It was very easy to find despite being in a fairly isolated spot. The camping area was well maintained and offered a really gorgeous view of the fields. While there were other sites relatively close by, it still felt private enough. This was a quick stop for me but it could have been a longer stay. I also very much appreciated the box of amenities. I was all set and didn't need to use anything, but it was a very considerate touch from the host to have that there.
