You would be hard pressed to find a better camp site. No showers here, but our site was ample, with a nice table and fire ring. Other amenities are close by. Best of all, you have all of Mt. Greylock at your very doorstep. Less than ten minutes to town. And Christian is an affable and thoughtful host, responsive and welcoming.

We loved camping here! Very clear and easy communication, and a wonderful setting, and lots of attention to detail to make the experience amazing. Highly recommend!

2 nights at Red Fox Meadow Campsite

We had a great experience at Stone Mountain farm. We stayed in Red Fox Meadow and it was really lovely. We were the only campers in the meadow, very quiet and serene. The parking lot is very close, just a 3 minute walk. There was a newly built bathhouse which was really nice. Hot showers were a nice way to end a long day of hiking. Jonny was out point of contact at the farm and he was super accommodating. Definitely coming back!

1 night at Blueberry Orchard By The Pond

We had a wonderful stay at John’s blueberry Orchard. Incredibly private and quaint. The campsite is tucked back into the woods away from the road by the little pond and the Orchard and Sugar shack created a very sweet and romantic atmosphere. John was incredibly kind and responsive to messages and the coffee, honey, and sourdough bread or to die for. Absolutely no trouble with wildlife whatsoever. With 100% stay here again.

4 nights at Upper Shire Campsites Hudson Valley

This was our second time camping here, and it was again wonderful. Jo was incredibly accomodating as we navigated getting out of the city, and the a-frame is so cozy! We also loved the (brand new) outdoor showers. On the rainy day we checked out nearby restaurants and Berkshire towns - especially recommend Great Barrington. We'll definitely be back!

3 nights at Cozie Nook Homestead

Our family camped on Robyn and Dennis’ property for 4 days and 3 nights and had a great time! The campsite was spacious, and we appreciated the covered restroom, cooking utensils, and camp stove. We loved the privacy and hearing all the different birds, especially the woodpeckers. Dennis and Robyn have a small farm, and visiting their animals was a highlight for us for sure! There is also a beautiful trail that we hiked nearby—definitely recommend. It rained one day we were there, but it didn’t put a damper on our time at all as we drove around and explored the area. We could hear traffic on a nearby road, but it did not impact our stay. I’d imagine that once all the leaves are on the trees it would be even less noticeable. Robyn and Dennis were so kind, and their property is beautiful. I’d recommend them and this site to other families!

Drive-in camp site, big fire pit, quiet, we heard an owl somewhere near us, walked in the woods, easy drive to hike mt Greylock (or do it right from the site). Christian was very kind and made us feel welcome. We’ll be back!

I could write a book… the space is amazing! Believe me it will exceed all your expectations and then some!!! My son wanted to spend his 16 birthday in nature and this was perfect!! The tents are right at waters edge and the waterfall is right there!!! Plenty of space to explore. Mushrooms, trees, bugs, rushing water, rocks, beautiful nature can be enjoyed with all of the senses! Space was very simple and clean…everything you need to become one with nature!!! Too tier. Would definitely recommend! Host got back to me in a timely manner with any questions as well!

Joanna’s sites are beautifully and thoughtfully laid out. The airstream was comfortable and fun to sleep in. Joanna was communicative and helpful. We saw turtles in the pond, a barred owl, lotsa birds and deer walked by too.

Weekend Trip to Red Fox Meadow Campsite

I truly enjoyed staying in cricket cove. The farm is awesome to explore and the proximity to the Wallkill trail is perfect. Super relaxed and chill vibe. The bath house was an added perk.

The Little Witch Cottage

The Little Witch Cottage is a rustic charming cottage from 1929 with timber framing and Catskill blue stone flooring. It sits in the middle of our yard about 200 feet from our more modern home. We have about 9 acres set back from the road. The cottage has a queen sized bed, dining table, and small kitchenette. The kitchenette has a mini fridge, dishes, and an induction stove top. We recently wired this vintage beauty to run on solar power and has an outhouse with a composting toilet, sink, and heated outdoor shower. Outside the cottage is a small garden, picnic table, fire pit, and chairs. Our land is mostly sloped fields that we are slowly turning into meadows full of native flowers and plants. There are mowed paths through the tall grass. This is perfect glamping spot, a mixture of comfort and nature. We are close to Catskill, NY and surrounded with a mix of beautiful nature and small town fun.

Wequamps Haven Mountain View Site

Welcome to Wequamps Haven in South Deerfield, with one of the nicest views of Mount Sugarloaf and North Sugarloaf Mountain, which together form the body of Wequamps of the local native legend. We have one camper site available, located on the edge of our 40 acres of protected land. Your site is on the old farm road near open, farmed fields, behind a well settled neighborhood near downtown. It is out of site of the main road and most neighbors, but still close to all the amenities in town. Half the acreage is flat, tillable land currently farmed by local farmers. The rest is pasture and woodland located on the hillside, abutting state park land which is part of Mount Sugarloaf Reservation. The view of the mountains and open farmland is beautiful at any time of year and the hillside pasture is a great place to watch the sun set over the valley below. It is the perfect site if you want a quiet, peaceful place to relax without going too far from civilization. Since it is an in-town location, it is easy to get to, close to I-91 and Routes 5&10. We are centrally located between Northampton, Amherst and Greenfield, which are all a short ride away, along with all the restaurants and attractions they have available. There are plenty of places nearby to walk, hike, bike, fish, kayak and swim so you can take full advantage of all the region has to offer. You may see rabbits, groundhogs, deer, opossum and numerous birds on the property. We have a resident red-tailed hawk and often spot pileated woodpeckers. You may occasionally hear coyotes or owls in the distance. Feel free to stroll the old farm road or enjoy our large backyard and covered patio which are areas we are happy to share as common spaces with our guests. Explore the lush Pioneer Valley or the many hill towns in our cozy western Mass. mountain ranges for all the farm stands, antique shops, historic sites or outdoor activities you could possibly hope for within easy reach. There are too many wonderful sights to see to list here but let us know your areas of interest and we’ll be happy to help you find them. We will provide a small picnic table, trash can and recycling bin. A small fire pit will also be provided with plenty of firewood available for purchase and potable water can be accessed from the garden hose. We host NYS Police along with local police/sheriff deputies here through our organization Hearts in Hand Horsemanship LLC. Don't be surprised if you see a NYS trooper or police unit parked up in the field near the horses. Fires: We allow small fires in specific spots, namely the fire ring at Camping on Blueberry Hill, at Ft Sky and inside the Tipi. Campsite fires are allowed weather permitting, when it's not windy and must be kept small. If it's windy then you can still have a fire in the tipi. No large fires or bonfires. All fires must be completely out unless you are physically with your fire. We supply 5 gallons of water and more is available to drink, wash dishes and put your fire out. Please respect our rules. We are 10 minutes away from Cherry Plain State Park (which has a gorgeous lake and kid-friendly sandy beach), and even closer to the Taconic Crest Trail. Our location is nestled between the Taconics of New York, the Green Mountains of Vermont, and the Berkshires of Massachusetts. Come share our paradise, bring your outdoor adventurer gear (you will be glad you did) and we will share our favorite local destinations with you. We ask that all hipcampers who are primary guests be 21 years of age or over. Children are welcome but we will not knowingly rent to anyone under 21 years of age. This land was the homestead of the very first non native settler of the area, John Wiley, in 1787. Before that, it was the land of the Mahican native Americans. They named it "valley of the butternut trees", or Wyomanock. The Wyomanock Creek is the backbone of this little valley. Aisling Mountain Farm campgrounds are located in Adams MA, is directly connected to Mount Greylock state park and its miles of trails. We currently have four tent campsites throughout the year with one that will accommodate trailers up to 16' without backing up! Enjoy the view, our cascading waterfall brook, and spend some time with our horses. Please see our FB page at Aisling Mountain Farm for more info. Your campsites are only a few minutes' walk to the Gould trailhead public parking lot and many trails. Also, you have direct access to some amazing single bike paths running all through the state forest. We are located in the Berkshires, with many attractions like, Mass MoCa, Williamstown theater, and many other places of interest.

At the foot of the waterfall is your own personal swimming hole. Take advantage of the multiple hammock relaxation stations throughout the property and swimming in the creek. If you're up for a walk, the infamous Yellow Deli is just a mile down the road. We're just a few minutes away from Windham Mountain and various trails if you're the hiking type. Check out our "Must See" list in the tent for suggestions on places to enjoy during your stay. This campsite features a queen size bed for two. Site guidelines Bring loads of extra blankets and warm clothing. Boots are a must. Although the driveway is kept clear, car should ideally be AWD or 4WD depending on weather conditions. Consult your campkeeper. Let your campkeeper know when you are arriving so we can light up entry for you. Cleanup all common spaces when you leave. But, make yourself at home. Hickory Hollow

Welcome to Hickory Hollow! Located 7 minutes from the Town of Catskill, 25 minutes from Hudson, and just under the Catskill Mountains, Hickory Hollow is the perfect campsite to take full advantage of the Upper Hudson Valley. There are two campsites you can chose from, both in clearings that make for great star gazing. Camp 1 is deeper into the forest taking about two minutes to walk to from the parking area. Camp site 2 is only a one minute walk but much closer to the farm. If you are coming with a dog, I would recommend staying at Camp site 1, as the farms dogs are very vocal when there are new friends in the area. Each campsite comes with a fire pit, a grate for cooking, and a picnic table. There is parking provided and a composting outhouse. You will need to bring your own firewood, though there is plenty of available kindling. The property is 9 acres and I encourage guests to hike down to the stream and take a walk if they feel comfortable. If not there are so many hiking/swimming options nearby and I am happy to point you in the right direction. This property has a been a life long dream of mine, and is (in my opinion) the most beautiful place on earth. That being said there is a still a lot of work that I am doing since this is a very new endeavor. So please watch yourself if you do decide to stay. The Hollow is beautiful but also very steep, so please be careful while you walk the woods. Pets are welcome, but again, be safe. There is an abundance of wildlife in the Hollow (see if you can spot the porcupine) but that can be very distracting for dogs, so be cautious when letting them off lead. A small family farm that has been in Dennis's family since 1914. The old county road once existed in front of our house. Where horses and wagons would stop to off load part of their load to continue up the hill. They would return to pick up the rest and continue on. Since inheriting the farm, we have moved towards sustainable farming. We follow grass fed measures while raising our sheep the poultry free ranges to control the flea and tick population on the farm. Our vegetables are grown organically. We harvest only what is needed to heat our home from the forest leaving under growth alone. Last fall almost a hundred acres, of our farm, went into land conservation protecting it from urban sprawl.

There are short trails on our property for walking and miles of hiking trails in the Catskill Park. We have 2 sites. 1 for a tent and 1 site for a travel trailer 30' or less or a tent. Spaces not within view of each other.. No water but I can bring you water, no electric but I can top up your batteries for a small fee with my generator. Basically dry camping with fire ring and picnic table.

We are just six minutes away from the Tenmile River Metro North station and can pick you up with advance coordination. The town of Kent, Connecticut is a 7-minute drive and has lots of shops, dining, and an art gallery. The town of Amenia, New York is a 12-minute drive and has a drive-in movie theater, and some restaurants.
