Stony Rose Farms is located in the beautiful and historic Hudson Valley. Our area has a rich farming heritage and our land was once part of a much larger farm. We purchased the land in February of 2020 and have created our own off grid paradise full of chickens, flowers, bees and lots of different types of plants. We are NOT a commercial campground, we are a working farm that offers Agrotourism stays and experiences. Our hens and roosters play an important role in the sustainable agricultural practices we use on the farm. Our lovely ladies provide us with delicious and colorful eggs each day. Your breakfast at the farm can't get any fresher... sunny side up eggs dripping yolk onto fresh local bread, fresh melons and berries still warm from the sun, sweet honey and local milk in your coffee. A true farm to table meal is possible year round in our beautiful valley! Most weekends we offer a breakfast basket filled with goodies produced on our farm or by other local growers. The back of our property is also wooded. If you are quiet you are certain to see birds, squirrels, chipmunks, turkey and deer as you walk along the creek and explore the mossy rocks and tiny waterfalls. If you follow the marked bushwack trail you'll be guided over fallen trees and through breaks in historic stone walls, then across the creek and up the hill you will come out onto the O&W Rail Trail. This 27 mile trail is perfect for hiking, biking and strolling. In some segments it is smoothly paved and others it is gravel. From this trail you can access multiple parks, libraries and museums if you are looking for a long hike or ride. We are centrally located between Kingston, Kerhonkson, Woodstock and New Paltz and all are about a scenic 20 minutes drive. The NYS Thruway is less than 10 minutes away if you are traveling through. The Rondout Valley is home to multiple breweries, amazing restaurants, luxurious spas, places to kayak, fish, swim, rock climb... or you could spend your entire visit at the farm reading a good book and enjoying beautiful sunsets. PLEASE NOTE: -We are a working farm that uses sustainable organic methods. -There are bugs (ants, ticks, bees, mosquitos, etc) -We keep the grass at the campsites short but you will have long grass around you. That long grass is home to numerous kinds of birds that only live in that type of habitat. - Poison ivy is also possible when out in nature, we do NOT spray any chemicals on ANY of our land. -The sites are within earshot to the chicken coops, we DO have roosters and you WILL hear them. -There are wild animals around the farm. You should store away all food and garbage when you are not at the campsite. We would like to keep them cautious of humans and not a nuisance! -On holiday weekends we do have a minimum night stay.

Tent/Van Camping in Leverett!

We have a private camping spot located down by the stream, and a van site which can accommodate cars, small RVs, and vans as well as tent camping. We are near a paved road with moderate traffic, but the sites are secluded. The property abuts hundreds of acres of woods and there are a number of great walking trails nearby. A half-mile walk behind the house takes you through the forest to an outlook on Leverett Pond. The Peace Pagoda is just a few miles up the road. Other nearby destinations include Cushman Market and Cafe, the Montague Bookmill, and Mt. Toby waterfall, caves, and lookout tower. Leverett Pond has a public boat launch nearby. Our location is convenient to the Berkshire Mountains, state parks, hiking and other attractions, including Ramble Wild tree to tree adventures and Jiminy Peak. There are a few miles of rail trail access just down the road.

Stony Rose Farms

Stony Rose Farms is located in the beautiful and historic Hudson Valley. Our area has a rich farming heritage and our land was once part of a much larger farm. We purchased the land in February of 2020 and have created our own off grid paradise full of chickens, flowers, bees and lots of different types of plants. We are NOT a commercial campground, we are a working farm that offers Agrotourism stays and experiences. Our hens and roosters play an important role in the sustainable agricultural practices we use on the farm. Our lovely ladies provide us with delicious and colorful eggs each day. Your breakfast at the farm can't get any fresher... sunny side up eggs dripping yolk onto fresh local bread, fresh melons and berries still warm from the sun, sweet honey and local milk in your coffee. A true farm to table meal is possible year round in our beautiful valley! Most weekends we offer a breakfast basket filled with goodies produced on our farm or by other local growers. The back of our property is also wooded. If you are quiet you are certain to see birds, squirrels, chipmunks, turkey and deer as you walk along the creek and explore the mossy rocks and tiny waterfalls. If you follow the marked bushwack trail you'll be guided over fallen trees and through breaks in historic stone walls, then across the creek and up the hill you will come out onto the O&W Rail Trail. This 27 mile trail is perfect for hiking, biking and strolling. In some segments it is smoothly paved and others it is gravel. From this trail you can access multiple parks, libraries and museums if you are looking for a long hike or ride. We are centrally located between Kingston, Kerhonkson, Woodstock and New Paltz and all are about a scenic 20 minutes drive. The NYS Thruway is less than 10 minutes away if you are traveling through. The Rondout Valley is home to multiple breweries, amazing restaurants, luxurious spas, places to kayak, fish, swim, rock climb... or you could spend your entire visit at the farm reading a good book and enjoying beautiful sunsets. PLEASE NOTE: -We are a working farm that uses sustainable organic methods. -There are bugs (ants, ticks, bees, mosquitos, etc) -We keep the grass at the campsites short but you will have long grass around you. That long grass is home to numerous kinds of birds that only live in that type of habitat. - Poison ivy is also possible when out in nature, we do NOT spray any chemicals on ANY of our land. -The sites are within earshot to the chicken coops, we DO have roosters and you WILL hear them. -There are wild animals around the farm. You should store away all food and garbage when you are not at the campsite. We would like to keep them cautious of humans and not a nuisance! -On holiday weekends we do have a minimum night stay.

Magic Forest Farm

**Please confirm you have read our property description and rules before booking** Our slice of paradise consists of 225 acres of forested land nestled in the foothills of the Catskills near Albany. We are a homestead and small campground devoted to the principles of organic farming and self-reliance. Modern agriculture and big business are unsustainable, destroying farmland at an accelerating pace. It is important for us to teach the next generation, there is an alternative. We produce much of our own food. We have friendly goats, chickens, ducks, peacocks, donkeys and horses the guests can pet and feed. There are no swimming holes on our property, but many waterfalls and swimming spots within a short drive (see list below). A quick 5 minute drive will get you to one of the best disc golf courses in the north east. For the truly adventurous, Clarksville Cave is a short drive away. Visit their website for list of proper gear and rules. We do rent some of the equipment needed. Upper Shire Campsites Hudson Valley

The Upper Shire Private Campsites in the Hudson Valley are on a gorgeous hill with a small pond surrounded by 22 acres of an old horse ranch. It is located in Columbia County near the Massachusetts and New York border. There are currently 5 unique camping areas located here. Each one is special due to its location on the hill. Check out our map and enjoy our spacious yet secluded campsites and our new off-grid double shower shack with hot and cold water on demand. This place has a relaxed atmosphere and is located near Catamount Ski Resort, Bash Bish Falls, Taconic State Park, Hudson NY, and Great Barrington, MA. If you plan on bringing a pet please be sure to add that fee to your booking under "extras" ($25) If you have additional guest(s) that would like to join you that fee is ($25 a night per person) and you will need to message us about how to arrange that. We have extra easy pop-up two-person tents available to rent ($15 for two nights) you can also find that option under "extras" along with bundles of firewood ($15)

Aisling Mountain Farm campgrounds are located in Adams MA, is directly connected to Mount Greylock state park and its miles of trails. We currently have four tent campsites throughout the year with one that will accommodate trailers up to 16' without backing up! SOLID SOUND FESTIVAL CAMPERS PLEASE MESSAGE US BEFORE YOU REQUEST. With the increased traffic for the event, we have changes to our venue. Aisling Mountain Farm event campgrounds are available for local events. Tent camping conveniently located close to North Adams and Mass MoCA, with direct access to Mount Greylock and miles of trails. Minutes from free parking with shuttle service to Mass MoCA festivals. On event weekends we will have fire pits located around the property for everyone's use. unfortunately for large events we will not be able to accommodate trailers or RV campers.
