Come stay in our large glamping tent, located in an hidden pasture on a 350 acre working sustainable livestock farm. Wake up amidst the birds, frogs, chickens, ducks, donkey and horses, have breakfast with sustainable products from our farm and enjoy the day around the farm learning about sheep, goats, cattle and bees, on hiking trails in the woods, taking a dip in the creek, exploring the wetlands by canoe, or enjoying the quite around the tent.Come stay in our tent, a big 384sq/ft wall tent on a wooden structure. There is a loft accessible by ladder where 2 adults can sleep on a king size mattress, and a bunk bed on the main level for 2 more adults or children. There is a kitchen area, with induction stove top, little fridge/freezer and a little sink. There is a comfortable couch and a dinner table, and a wood stove to stay cozy. There is a rustic outhouse outside, with a little hand wash station and a camping style solar bag shower. There is electricity, but no running water. We refill your shower, hand wash water and a glass dispenser for drinking water daily. The tent is a beautiful place for people wanting to disconnect from the daily grind, without internet, but with all you truly need to connect with each other, yourself and the nature all around you. The tent is located in a pasture that's a few minute walk away from where you park your car. Guests can book extra farm experiences, like morning chores, a private tour, private beekeeping class, special farmer breakfast, etc.

A relaxing way to end the summer!

With kids

Marleen and Dan were such excellent hosts. We had a wonderful time at the tent. It felt very private but they were very available for any questions we had. The beekeeping class was incredible and we were able to grab a few peaches from their tree afterward. It was such a relaxing experience and we would definitely come back and recommend to friends. Such a comfortable and homey place to stay.

A Secluded Magical Meadow

What a unique, absolutely incredible glamping experience!! Secluded in what I can only describe as a magical secluded meadow surrounded by wildflowers, tall trees, grazing horses and a donkey, a friendly cat, it truly feels like it’s only little world. Could not have had a better experience, truly disconnected, relaxed and recharged. Marleen is a wonderful host and so helpful. She truly loves her farm and sharing it with those who visit, if you are so inclined. Personally I highly recommend the fresh farm breakfast and farm tour add ons. Also absolutely check out their meat selection from animals on their farm. I cooked the best ribeye of my life over a campfire on a cast iron skillet. The tent itself is cute, cozy, and comfortable. We slept soundly in the king sized bed, napped on the large L-shaped couch, made tea with the electric kettle, and eggs and vegetables on the small electric Induction stovetop. While Marleen provides all you may need, the more you plan ahead for your own comfort the better! Your preparation will only add to what is already provided as an incredible experience. I cannot describe the feeling of warm mornings on the porch sipping herbal tea, moonlight filling the meadow and a silver horse grazing in front of you, a campfire crackling just yards from your luxurious tent. Could not recommend more. This is not just camping or even glamping, it is truly a unique, magical, wonderful experience.

Camping at Beavertides Farm 🏕️😎

If you're looking for unique glamping please visit Beavertides Farm! The folks are amazing and truly hospitable, we felt right at home. We loved that the farm animals were able to graze in front of the tent and around us while we sat by the cozy campfire. Truly a serene experience they offer everything you need to enjoy your stay.

Five out of five stars for this ama

My sisters and I stayed at the camp for the weekend. We all had such a good time. It was restful and relaxing, and Maureen was a great host. She was so friendly and knowledgeable. The outhouse didn't even smell bad, and there were fresh flowers left in it. And in the tent We are already planning our next trip. The horses we're so sweet and we even got to see a gaggle of geese. We saw a million stars and built a campfire for smores. And the accommodations were comfortable. And beautiful. It felt like home away from home. Five out of five stars for this amazing stay.

Awesome working farm and great tent

I would only recommend "maybe" as most of my friends are not as adventurous staying at a working farm. Working is the right way to say it so no fancy paths or high end stuff. Just a very cool relaxing way to spend time around a real farm scene. Hosts were MOST helpful and nice and the tent was huge. Beds super comfy, clean and the fridge came in handy too. Donkey and two horsed milling about was nice. I'd say the solar shower is a bit crude but I've been told it's to be upgraded. The whole area is wonderful. So yeah, you want to chill simply? Come here!

Already planning our next visit!

Marleen went above and beyond each day to make sure we were extra cozy and felt at home. All of our accommodation needs were easily met. The farm is full of life and love. This stay definitely exceeded expectations. Would come back to Beavertides again and again. We love Beavertides!

Perfect nature escape

What an incredible glamping experience! From the moment we arrived, we were completely enchanted by this hidden gem! The tent itself was beautifully appointed and very spacious. But stepping outside was where the real magic happened: we were immediately immersed in a stunning wild meadow filled with colorful flowers and tall, swaying grasses, all framed by gorgeous forest. The animal encounters made it even more special. A friendly donkey greeted us upon arrival, and throughout our stay we delighted in watching chickens, ducks, and geese wandering freely around the property and grazing in the fields. The location couldn't have been better for exploration. We used it as our perfect base camp for discovering charming nearby villages and tackling some amazing hiking trails. Our host, Marleen, was warm, welcoming, and gave us the most fantastic local recommendations! If you're a nature lover looking for an authentic escape from the everyday, this is your spot.

This was one of the most unique campsites I've stayed at. There's lots of farm life roaming around and they're all very friendly and fun to interact with. The tent itself was great -- it's larger than your typical glamping tents and can fit a bunch of people. There's even a farm stand where you can buy meats and veggies from the host. Overall, loved my time here.

Camping in the hills of Connecticut

We stayed 2 nights at Beavertides Farm and it was wonderful! The host Marleen and her family were very friendly and accommodating and the site was beautiful! The tent was very nice and was bigger than I expected. Definitely try the farm breakfast with your stay, it was great! I can't wait to come back!
