We offer 2-3 acres of a choose your own spot camping area. Located within the Picayune Strand State Forest, full of peace and quiet, and plenty of birds. We have a facility building that runs off a generator for running water. With that, we have a washroom, that consists of a large shower, and 2 bathroom stalls. we have then propane heated hot water for a nice hot shower. The sites are very " free range". Nothing that is too designated, so you have a free choice of where to pitch your tent, or park your camper van, or your RV. Come and stay within the Evergaldes in Naples, of SWFL. A special private place like no other. You may have the place all to yourself, or share with others. It is not populated like other campgrounds. The bathrooms were very nice for a campground and offered ample privacy with two single room toilet, shower, and sink room. 1 night at SWFL Everglades Camping

Gorgeous, tucked away camping area. We had a great stay near the pond and were able to see two small alligators. Quiet and peaceful at night. Lots of beautiful birds during the day. We’d definitely stay again!

2 nights at J and P Creekside Retreat

My family had a great time at John’s camp and we were all sad to be leaving. The place was clean and well stocked. John was friendly and there if you needed him but, we never felt like we were being watched. My husband and I loved being able to take our daughter on the kayaks (which were a great price), my daughter loved the trampoline and plethora of swings, and our dog loved being able to lounge on the deck with the occasional visit from John’s dogs. Overall could not recommend this place enough if you’re looking for a quiet getaway especially if you enjoy being on the water.

Tight fit for if you’re camping in truck/tent but otherwise great spot on the water. Bathrooms/showers nice and clean. Quiet and a convenient location. Would stay again!

Weekend Trip to Silver Bullet Stables

Norman has a beautiful thing going there. Really enjoyed staying at his ranch. The lovely free… fresh eggs… a place to get in out of the rain… use of the fridge… a shower… a place to recharge. He thought of everything. Thank you!

Weekend Trip to Honeys Place: Urban Camping Oasis

I’m still in disbelief in discovering this edenic oasis in the middle of Miami. The grounds were unexpectedly immaculate, spacious and aesthetically pleasing. Our host was gracious and attentive. Our stay could not have been improved except it be longer. We recommend without reservation.

Weekend Trip to J and P Creekside Retreat

My dog Marty and I had an awesome stay at Shell Creek—it’s truly a touch of old Florida! The campground sits right on a beautiful freshwater creek, and the peaceful setting made it easy to relax and enjoy nature. We stayed at Creekside Site B, which had a great view and plenty of shade.The hosts were fantastic—welcoming, helpful, and made sure everything was just right. It’s a place that feels genuine, quiet, and full of that classic Florida charm. I’ll definitely be recommending Shell Creek to friends, and Marty and I will be back for sure!

Weekend Trip to Rasayana Cove

Amazing rustic getaway in old Florida! Property is beautiful! I will stay again. Be sure to check out Solomons castle right down the street. We really relaxed & enjoyed our time. So much wildlife. Horse creek is peaceful to walk along. We loved everything about this place! See you again one day!
