Our family-owned campground offers convenient RV camping options and vacation rentals. We are the closest campground to Key West, making it an ideal choice for those looking to explore Key West and the stunning beauty of the Florida Keys. All sites are back-in sites with full hookup and 30/50amp service. Your one vehicle in addition to your RV must fit in your site, We do not have additional parking, otherwise, the car must be parked outside on the right of way. When booking a site, the length of the RV must include a bumper-to-bumper or trailer tongue-to-back bumper length including any type of bike and motorcycle racks. All RVs must be SELF-CONTAINED as we DO NOT HAVE A BATHHOUSE. We recommend parking at the entrance and walking to your site to be able to plan your approach as most sites are best to back in from the entrance. At Leo's, we do not allow third-party drop-off RV service at our campground, due to a conflict of schedule dropping off and picking up equipment. *Prices are based on 1-2 people and do not include 12.5% sales tax. Rates are subject to change without notice. There is a 2-night minimum stay and a 2-night nonrefundable deposit at the time of reservation for Memorial weekend, 4th Of July week, Labor Day weekend, and Holiday break from December 20 to January 1st. There is a 4-night minimum for Fantasy Fest's 10-day celebration, a 50% nonrefundable deposit is required at the time of reservation and a 50% non-refundable balance is to be paid a month before arrival. Monthly reservations require a $250 nonrefundable deposit at the time of making the reservation, and they can only be made over the phone or in person.

Close to horse back riding, Lake Istokpoga Park is less than 5 miles for great fishing and boat ramp access. Highlands Hammock State Park is close by. Sebring International Raceway is near by as well. 80 miles to either Florida coast and 2 hrs south of Orlando. Just a disclaimer; Sebring Raceway is 7 miles away and if the wind is right you can hear the cars racing, also, lake Istokpoga is big for airboats so we do hear them running some. Flitterbug Farm is home to a collection of majestic oak trees covered in spanish moss, ferns, and flowering vines. The oak trees loom high over a glittering pond, which is great for swimming during the summer months when the water is high. Tropical fruit trees, vegetables, herbs, and flowers decorate our gardens while chickens and bees wander the land. Expect beautiful stars, local wildlife such as owls and chameleons, an outdoor shower, and a "hippie hot tub" powered by a campfire. Sunsets on Flitterbug Farm are truly epic. The land is close to 180 miles of local kayak trails (we rent kayaks!), a 10 minute drive from beautiful walking trails, and about an hour from the beach. We offer a rustic composting toilet, a heated outdoor shower, and a simple kitchen with a sink and stovetop. Note: Flitterbug Farm is in a rural, agricultural part of South Florida. The setting is peaceful, but it’s also alive with the sounds of farm life and wildlife. You may hear roosters, dogs, owls, frogs, and the usual country activity from nearby neighbors. We provide complimentary earplugs for light sleepers, and many guests find the natural soundscape part of the charm, but we want you to know what to expect.

Convenient amenities and a scenic lakefront view. Our Host Joe was welcoming and thoughtful. The provided kayaks/canoes were handy for fishing along with the dock and plenty of space. The site is adjacent to their garage which provided power and hose water - plenty of privacy.

Beautiful oak canopies, areas with seclusion and privacy. Plenty of spots near amenities which are super pretty and convenient. Great visibility of the stars. A lot of options and flexibility to camp the way you want to camp and super nice host. Would stay on the property here over any state park/generic cookie cutter camp ground. Also the shower is really nice!

Weekend Trip to Magical Pond On Flitterbug Farm

A beautiful wide-open glade with a serene pond nearby made this spot absolutely perfect. We enjoyed a small fire right by our tent and camped beneath gorgeous trees that offered welcome shade as the day warmed up. The outdoor kitchen was great for cooking, and the firepit added to the classic camping experience. With virtually no light pollution, the night sky was incredible, stars everywhere. Trina, the host, couldn't have been kinder and even shared some fascinating history about the land. It's and ideal place to unwind and immerse yourself in nature while still being conveniently close to groceries and other essentials. Highly recommend, and we will definitely be returning.

Leo’s Campground was clean, well maintained. It is adorably decorated. You can leave food for the iguanas and cast your kayak from the beach within the campground.Staff was pleasant and helpful. Approximately 3 miles to Key West. Full hookups. Laundry. Recycle cans available. FYI you are one block off a main highway behind a row of stores. There is air traffic noise from the nearby airports . We would recommend and we would definitely return. We chose a premium site to get a bit more room as standard sites are just a bit small. Our site had a white picket fence overlooking the pond and fountain. Proximity to everything in key west was no more than 15 min. Visited week before Thanksgiving. Perfect weather, no crowds.

I really enjoyed Trina's place; I loved that she let my dog Bandit, play ball off leash. I think Bandit liked her too because he was right behind her "he normally doesn't leave my site" anyway you are provided with the necessities, a 2-burner propane stove, sink where you wash your dishes, she even filters the drinking water and puts it in a glass jug." how sweet is that" there is an out-house, oh and if you want to soak under the stars, there is an old cast-iron tub, you get to experience the way they did it back in the old days, by building a fire under the tub.! " hot tub "and a fire pit where you can hang out and meet new friends. let's not forget the shower also under the stars. " don't worry you have some privacy there" anyway it was my first hipcamp, Bandit and I had fun. stop by the Flitterbug Farm and tell Trina Norma says hi.

Super cute homestead with good vibes all around. A communal setting with a compost toilet, a shower, water, kitchen, etc. We camped with our 2 dogs and parked right by our site which was nice. Lots of roosters and dogs in the surrounding areas, but the site was pretty peaceful with a nice big tree to pitch our tent under!

Trina was a lovely host. The area around the pond is very Beautiful. I really enjoyed the beautiful trees and their hanging moss. The most the trees were like old souls on that property.! The host was so welcoming. I felt immediately safe and at home. The only difficulty I experienced was there does happen to be a rooster farm next-door and I am sensitive to the sounds of birds and captivity. Outside of that everything was lovely and did a great price. The host was so kind and gave me some amazing fresh eggs from her chickens when I left. I felt very safe being a solo female 🏕️camper on this property and would recommend it to others.

**Hipcamp Review: Lakeshore View** Our stay at Lakeshore View was fantastic! The property is quiet, beautiful, and the perfect place to relax. Joe and his wife were wonderful hosts—so welcoming and excited to share their little piece of paradise with us. The campsite had easy access to sewer, water, and electricity, making our stay hassle-free. We also loved the picnic table and the beautifully crafted fire pit, which made for cozy evenings under the stars. Our kids had a great time fishing, which made the trip even more special for our family. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway, this is the spot. We will definitely be back!

The place is absolutely beautiful, you are surrounded by the lake, and the scenery is worth of a postcard. Joe and his family and warm and welcoming. Joe is very helpful and handy. He went above and beyond helping me get the awning properly placed, and even came up with a creative solution to my roof tent flap. We are grateful they allow us to experience their property and the opportunity to get to know them. DONT HESITATE TO BOOK!
