Each site has full hook ups, including water (with great water pressure), sewer, and 30 and 50 amp outlets. Most sites will accommodate a 38' RV and Class A, B, and C Motorhomes. A majority of the sites will also accommodate a 44' RV. In addition to the RV Sites with full hook-ups, we also offer dry camping and can accommodate large groups. We can provide water for our campers that are in the dry camp areas and we have a dump station area for you before you leave. Water is also provided for those that are in their tents or small camper trailers. Please note: we do not have a bathhouse. Porta-potties are near the dry camp area marked 20A-20E. Each site, including dry camp, has a picnic table and fire pit. Firewood is available for purchase. WiFi is also provided. Please keep in mind we are in a rural location and can NOT promise perfection when it comes to the WiFi. There is NO public boat launch for the river. Guests do have access to the river for leisure fishing with fly's and lures only. The Ute Lodge was homesteaded in the 1930’s by Joe Fox who after leaving the military came west to settle in the White River valley. Joe was known for his friendliness, hospitality and wild stories. Today you might find much of the same. From Joe’s day to today it is a place where families come together to get away. The Ute Lodge is now owned by Karl and Mona Maser who celebrated 20 years of ownership summer of 2019! We moved here in 1997 The home has had major remodels done on it. The lake is an old gravel pit to make road base for local road construction. The buoys in the lake are scuba projects from the local college CMU, and hold lots of fish. Other nesting platforms are for our local Geese and they hatch out in April-June. We airbnb 2 rooms in our home as a shared facility and have airbnbs in Northern Ca and Baja. Our home is off limits for campers as we need to respect the space for our other airbnb guests. We loved our time here and are so excited to visit the area again! We stayed in a 24ft travel trailer and enjoyed the fire pit, rocking chairs, peach orchards and just about every aspect of the property and our stay here. Dirk, the owner is fantastic! The location is perfect, you’re so close to Palisade and the wineries / vineyards, but also close to everything you could need in Grand Junction…as well as being a fun day trip away from the National Park. Next time we will have to try to visit during peach season!

Eric had thought of everything to make our stay comfortable- the electric, water, trash, fire pit and supplies are all set out for quick and easy set up. The scenery is gorgeous. It’s quiet. We went to a festival in town and some wineries all by bike right from the property. Oh and get some pie from across the street! Everyone was very kind and welcoming of visitors.

Very nice for an RV park! I typically try to avoid these RV parks, but this one is really nice. Not super big. Lots of space between the campers. A special area for vans. The shower and bathroom house is super nice. Great location. Palisade is just gorgeous. Lots to do in the area. There is some train noise, but I did not notice that at night.

Nice spot! There were some floodlights across the street shining at us, so something to be aware od if you dont have curtains or a dark tent. Flat and easy to find. No bathrooms. Palisade is such a gem in Colorado. This Hipcamp is well located, easy to find, offers electricity, and a level parking spot in a safe area. The views property are also gorgeous! I was lucky enough to spend a night when the farms trees were just starting to show spring buds. I also enjoyed a lovely wine tasting and charcuterie board just a mile down the street at Talon. I would highly recommend the site and personally can’t wait to stay there again! The host, Dirk was extremely communicative and quick to respond! All in all, a five star stay.

Stone Yard Distillrey is so chill. A safe comfortable place for RV'rs. The bonus of course is the distillery and its operator. Max is welcoming and the entrepreneur behind this grassroots operation, producing high quality spirits. Do yourself a favor and stop by the tasting room in Gypsum or Glenwood Springs.

I had a great time camping at double D Farms Dirk is a really nice guy and it’s beautiful there absolutely beautiful sorry for the delay on the review. Campsite was very clean with an outhouse that you’re available to use. I also got electricity and freshwater great price for those amenities. I plan on camping there again.

The property was easy to find and the host was responsive when I had questions. It is located right along the interstate highway, but the noise wasn’t excessive. I would stay here again.
