Lovely simple spot! Easy to find with easy car access (Tesla model Y)! There are a few homes around but they’re far enough away to still have privacy.

The views were beautiful, and the site is close to town. We were able to walk to Bookcliff vineyards, which is a mile away. Heads up: there are scorpions at the campsite, but they are about 2 inches long, and only came out at night.

Beautiful view! It was mostly private…there were some houses near and cars occasionally driving down the road parallel to the site but it wasn’t a huge deal. Easy to follow directions.

Loved this spot. It’s very close to town and the wineries which is great. We grabbed a bottle at Ordinary Fellow and then had dinner at camp. Incredible sunset and our fur baby got to run around to his hearts content.

Nice spot! There were some floodlights across the street shining at us, so something to be aware od if you dont have curtains or a dark tent. Flat and easy to find. No bathrooms. One mile walk to an amazingggg winery and absolutely lovely views! Relatively quiet road nearby. We heard so many meadowlarks in the field around us as the sun set!

It was perfect for what we needed. An easy spot to park our camper and spend the night on our way through town. It’s conveniently located just outside of town. About a 5min drive from the main strip!

Cool spot nestled up towards the mountains near Palisade. Privacy leaves a little to be desired since there is a house across the road that has no barriers to seeing everything at camp, but overall a clean place to get a nights sleep.

Nice in between stop. Quiet. Hard to negotiate a turnaround with a 19ft trailer without some planning. No shade. Yes there is a lot of glass and old rusted metal around, but unless you are walking barefoot outside a “normal” campsite perimeter, it’s minimal. My dogs were fine.

Beautiful spot! The instructions for finding the campsite were clear. As others have mentioned, there was a good amount of broken glass and scrap metal on the ground, unfortunately.

We stayed one night on our way from Moab to Denver in sprinter van.
Lovely setting. Enjoyed the alpenglow on the mountains while fixing dinner.
Would definitely stay again.

Nice, quiet spot at end of a gravel driveway with a beautiful view of surrounding mountains, and a picnic table was provided. We never met Matt, but he provided great directions and we emailed him when we arrived and departed.

We had such an amazing weekend in palisade! matt was very respectful of us and our reactive dog which we appreciated so much. he was very responsive, and the land was beautiful! we enjoyed the proximity to town whose allowed us to walk to a few wineries with our pup. 10/10 spot, would recommend!!

Very private site, about 2 miles from downtown Palisade. We found it to be very quiet and peaceful, we were able to ride our bikes to town for dinner. Would definitely stay here again, it’s very convenient off of I 70 but yet far enough away to not hear the highway noise.

Overall the site had great views! We visited during late July so it was hot and the site doesn’t have shade (that was advertised so we knew what we were getting in to) it was super close to town and we biked from the site to visit vineyards and pick peaches. Only problem we had was there was a lot of broken glass around the site. We have a little and we made her always wear shoes but kind of a bummer to have it all around for dog paws and little hands!

Great spot. Easy to find. Private. Flat. No shade, so come prepared. Beautiful view. We biked to town (10-15 min bike ride to get there) and wineries. Just FYI there is a decent hill on the way back hahaha. The site is soooo close to Bookcliff Vineyards which is great!

This spot is a hidden gem! The spot is close to town and has great views. Matt did an excellent job of communicating directions of how to get there. There is only one campsite so it was nice to have the area all to ourselves especially since we had 2 larger dogs with us. I would recommend to anyone staying in or passing through Palisade!

This site was the Goldilocks of camp sites. Super close to Palisade, but just far enough out on a hill to have gorgeous views of the surrounding mesas. Close enough to the host if you needed anything, but far enough away to feel private. Matt gave fantastic instructions and had great communication. Far and away our best hipcamp experience!

Had a great stay while driving through to Utah. Matt was very communicative, and the directions to the campsite were easy. I had a great time exploring the land with my two dogs and will definitely stay again when passing through.

Really nice spot. We had a van, a tent, and a 13'x13' canopy and there was plenty of space. Such an easy drive into town. You can see Bookcliff Vineyards from the spot.
