We loved this stay! One of my favorites on our 11 day journey. So quiet and beautiful on a lovely peach orchard. Water, electric hook ups and we had access to a restroom in their store. Nice mountainous scenery out back and you can walk the perimeter of the orchard. They have a fire pit area for use as well. Eric came out and greeted us, as their house is also on the property, but far enough away that you still have privacy. There’s a cute pie shop across the street that we stopped at as well. Would love to stay here again if we’re ever out this way again!!

Peaceful and Safe Campsite

If you are looking for a place thats safe peaceful and beautiful this is it. Eric has a creek that runs next to the site you can hear all night while watching the starts at night. The have great honey as well as peaches and peach jam. 100% recommend if you are looking to stay in the Grandjuction area.

We love everything about this place. Welcoming, beautiful, peaceful, clean, and very well maintained. We've stayed twice and returned a third time as we were passing through, to say hi and pick up a box of peaches. Eric is the perfect host. Palisade's great coffee shops and restaurants, nearby parks and recreation options, wineries - it's all nearby. We'll be back.

Beautiful Orchard, Great Hosts!

Wow, what an absolutely lovely place to stay! The Orchard is breathtaking and was perfectly equipped for our stay.
We arrived later than we would have liked but had absolutely no problem finding MTO in the dark thanks to Eric’s excellent directions and easy-to-spot Hipcamp signage on the road.
Eric was super hospitable. We wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely stay here again when the opportunity arises.

Camping at Reverie Retreat at MTO was incredible!! The property is beautiful and very peaceful. There were no distractions and the views were amazing! Electric hookup, fresh water from the Mesa and a clean restroom were all available. I would highly recommend a a stay here! And if you get a chance to talk to Verne, do it!!!

We stayed at several hipcamps in our sprinter van over the past week. This place was by far the best. It was quiet and beautiful, we had shade from the sun, a clean bathroom, and Eric was very welcoming. Can't recommend enough.

Beautiful place to set up camp! The views of the mountains are beautiful and the orchard setting is serene. It calm and quiet since it is a single party booking. There are a few trees right near the campsite providing shade. The bathroom is clean. A recycle bin and trash can are provided. Eric was a great host making sure we had what we needed. We will absolutely be back!

Loved this place!

Eric had thought of everything to make our stay comfortable- the electric, water, trash, fire pit and supplies are all set out for quick and easy set up. The scenery is gorgeous. It’s quiet. We went to a festival in town and some wineries all by bike right from the property. Oh and get some pie from across the street! Everyone was very kind and welcoming of visitors.

The indoor bathroom was nice and clean. The site was easy to find and underneath a beautiful tree with a fire pit and outdoor table and chairs. Close enough to town and wineries, but feels nice and remote.

Absolutely Fabulous!

If we could give this twenty stars we would. This is what we imagined 'HipCamp' would be when we joined. A lovely private site, amongst verdant peach orchards, in the shadow of massive Mesa'a. Wine country and the cute town of Palisade on your doorstep. The site has excellent water and electric hookups, wood chips surround the trailer, a top of the range fire pit and table and chairs (plus free firewood) is provided. And on top of it all, charming hosts in Eric and Amanda, who make you both feel at home and also ensure privacy. Simply can't fault this site; and we will be back!

Stunning! I LOVED this stay. The farm is nestled in an adorable community, but once you're on the property it feels secluded. The views were incredible, the sound of birds and summer insects were sublime. Im a solo female traveler and loved that the space offered some privacy but was close-ish to the hosts.

We stayed at Eric’s orchard for a week with our two dogs and had a fantastic time. The parking spot was ideal with some shade cover but also had a gorgeous view of the nearby plateau. Eric and his wife were so kind and hospitable. They shared great recommendations for places to take our dogs and gave us some of the fruit from their orchard. We would definitely book again.

We had an amazing stay! We traveled with 3 young kids and 2 dogs and the site was great for everyone. The kids had a blast playing in the orchards and the property is fenced and great for dogs. It was close to wineries too. The space was clean, clean bathroom, and Eric and Amanda were so friendly and great with the kids and offered good suggestions for things to do in the area. Beautiful spot!

The settings was beautiful with views of the mesa, peach orchards, and vineyards. Eric was an excellent host and brought us freshly picked peaches for breakfast. There is a pie stand across the street and close proximity to some of the wineries. Highly recommend.

We can’t say enough positive things about our stay at MTO! Eric and Amanda are wonderful hosts - kind and generous and willing to go out of their way to make our stay memorable. My kids loved running loose in the orchard (as did I… a nice dirt path goes around the property). We enjoyed learning about the farm and the other fun things on site. Be sure to grab some fresh produce or honey from the store, say hi to the sweet farm dog, and hit up The Pie Shop (next door) for a coffee, ice cream or slice of pie. Oh and the peaches!! Delicious and perfectly ripe during our stay in early August. We hope to be back!

This place is absolutely breathtaking, and the owners were so nice and accommodating! I couldn't recommend this place more, it was the perfect camping weekend, filled with so much fun and stunning views. Was very cool to be able to camp on a gorgeous peach orchard! We had a bunch of young kids with us and they had a blast all weekend. Will definitely be back! We also purchased some of their homemade peach jam and honey - they are delicious!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The site and surroundings were beautiful and the shade trees welcomed on a 90 degree day. After being on the road for over 2 weeks, this was our favorite campsite! If you're looking for peace, serenity, and a warm welcome, this is your place!
