Reverie Retreat at MTO
Yard Camping on a Cute Peach Farm
MTO is so beautiful, the views are amazing! Eric and Amanda were super friendly and checked in on us a few times to make sure we didn’t need anything. Our dogs loved being farm pups for the weekend and it was much more relaxing not having to worry about keeping them on a leash. MTO is conveniently located close to vineyards, downtown Palisade, and hiking trails, which was great as we ventured out a lot! The Colorado National Monument is also only about 20 minutes away and was breathtaking! We tent camped in the yard which is in between the main house and the peach house. The yard was well kept and mostly flat. The bathroom in the peach house was clean and it was a nice luxury to have access to it as well as water and electricity. Overall we had a great time and highly recommend this spot!

Would I stay there again? Heck yeah
Eric and Amanda's farm is immaculate! Staying at their place surrounded by healthy peach trees, tomatoes, hay field and the bees was really special. Eric and Amanda are super friendly and warm. They answered our many questions about their operation. We are already planning a return when the peaches, tomatoes and honey are ready! Bonuses: friendly dogs, beautiful views of Mt. Garfield, level parking, nice grassy area, a bathroom with a toilet and sink, quiet nights and a quick walk to the Palisade Pie Shop (get ready to walk out of there with a box load of goodies!). I highly recommend this sweet spot and now wish we had planned on 2 nights!

Peaceful Palisade Paradise.
Peaceful site in a peach, nectarine, and cherry orchard with a lovely grassy area for our pups to play. Access to electricity, water, and bathroom made for a wonderful stay. Eric, the owner, was super kind and helpful with recommendations for restaurants, and wineries in Palisade.

Easy overnight stay in Palisade
Was extremely convenient, clean and easy to find. Pups greeted us in the morning, but were not very intrusive. Wish we were there during peach season!

Quiet time on the orchard.
You couldn't ask for a nicer host. Eric was incredibly friendly and very responsive. He greeted us when we arrived and told us all about his orchard and welcomed us to go explore. Our kids loved it. We were a little early for their peach harvest. They were just tiny things during our visit. I hear they're delicious though. Also, be prepared to be camping in a driveway/front yard. With that said, the fire pit and lots of wood were waiting for us. The bathroom is super clean too. Don't pass up the pie shop across the road either. We had breakfast there on the way out and it was amazing.
