Great clean spot with great views. We stayed for one night and the location was great for access to trails. RV spot was very level and electricity worked perfectly.

Site is situated in a rural area outside of the Grand Valley. Not far from a road, but traffic is pretty minimal. Site is as described. Level, conveniently arranged, clean, private. Owners are nearby and stopped by once to say hello. Great location for access to the very extensive network of BLM and CNM trails. We loved it and would stay again.

When I joined HipCamp Devrin’s campsite was exactly what I hoped to find.
High up on the Mesa above Grand Junction. Isolated and beautiful. One and only site with 360 degree views of the uplands.
Really well maintained with a huge flat gravel pad - fire ring and table and the bonus of electrical shore power. Super easy access to both the property and the site.
The surrounding area - Grand Junction - Fruita - Palisades - has everything you might want for an adventurous or relaxing break. Challenging canyons to gorgeous wine tasting. Allin all it was so good I extended by two days and will be back.
And finally Devrin was a communicative and helpful host. Six stars if I could give it.

Great spot up on a bench away from busy Grand Junction. Nice private camp spot. Lots of deer and birds around. Kind of close to the main road, but it wasn’t really busy to bother a person. Met Devrin when we showed up and he is a really nice person and gave us some advise to view the Colorado Monument.

Enjoyed it so much we stayed a second night. Site is big and flat. The fire pit provided a warm spot as we watched the comet flying by to the west. Devrin helped us with an amazingly beautiful route to Moab through Gateway, CO. The drive was spectacular.

Great site, location and hosts. Only 20+ minutes to Grand Junction, and feels away! Close to great hiking and biking. We enjoyed The Ribbon Trail and Third Flats trails. Devrin and family were very welcoming and super helpful with info on the area.

We stayed 3 nights at DTR and enjoyed every minute of it. The location is fantastic and really close to many hiking trails including the Ribbon Trail and Mica Mines which were the two that we did. But there are alot more than those within minutes.
Devrin and his family were great hosts ensuring that we were all set and checking in to make sure things were going well.
The property is nice and private. Our dog had a great time running around and we felt safe with him being off leash. The power hook-up was much appreciated as we were there in our 16' travel trailer.
We'll definitely be returning to this site the next time we return to Grand Junction which is one of our favorite towns in Colorado. The downtown area is quaint and only 20 minutes away as are all other amenities that you could need.

We had the best time at Devrin’s place! Devrin and his family were incredibly welcoming and helpful and the property is beautiful. It can be hot there and shade is limited in the high desert so I would recommend an awning or other way to make your own shade if you visit during the hot season. Beyond the property itself, it is unbelievably convenient to so many amazing trailheads (I rode The Ribbon, a fantastic mountain bike trail, from camp) and to Colorado National Monument.
This was our first hipcamp experience and it was wonderful. I highly recommend.

Flat, well maintained with 30 and 50amp hookups. We arrived late at night due to traffic in Denver but it was easy to find. Would definitely recommend to friends.

The campsite was just as described and located close to trails we wanted to try exploring. Other than our timing with the heat, we had a great time here.

We have stayed at many Hipcamps and this has been one of our favorites. One factor is the proximity to great hiking trails (Ribbon Trail, Mica Mines) - literally minutes away.
Another aspect is the privacy and beauty of the site. We loved spending our evenings here - the firepit and incredible dark starry skies were incredible. The spot was very private!
We were also very appreciative of Devrin's hospitality. He was very helpful with local recommendations. We truly enjoyed chatting with him.
The location, amenities, and privacy were so perfect. If you're in the area, we can't recommend this spot enough!! We will definitely be back one day.

Level 20/30/50 amp service. Private with great star gazing. Near biking and Colorado National Monument. High up a curvy road from town about fifteen minutes? Would highly recommend for small trailers and class b vans. No shade so have an awning. 100 percent happy with my stay!

JUST BOOK THIS ONE! Seriously one of the BEST campsites I have found through this App. Absolutely gorgeous skies, amazing hiking/biking trailheads within walking (15-40 minutes) distance from site, excellent electric hookup, spacious dog-friendly site with sturdy picnic table. Wonderful hosts. I loved the peace & tranquility so much, I extended my stay to 3 nights! Would LOVE to come back some day.

It was a great spot close to Colorado National Monument but away from the busy GJ heat. Quiet and comfortable with electric hookups made for a lovely weekend escape! Hosts were friendly and helpful.

Talk about Hospitality! Devrin and his family were very welcoming and accommodating, but not overwhelming! The sunset was amazing and the location was super easy to get in and out of. Lots of hiking and bike trails near by… we drove by three to get to where we were going!
