This property is nestled right between two great Colorado reservoirs, Harvey Gap and Rifle Gap. The camping area is right beside a beautiful pond with live fish. There is a picnic table and small firepit for activities. Harvey Gap is about a 1 mile walk from the property and Rifle Gap is a 7 min drive. This property is situated right beside BLM land with a trail head for 4x4 and hiking just 30 seconds down the road or out the back door.This camp spot resides on 20 acres and backs up to the BLM land with an extremely large amount of area with integrated trail systems. The land is situated directly between two State Parks, Rifle Gap Reservoir and Harvey Gap Reservoir. Harvey Gap Reservoir is within walking distance from the camping area and Rifle Gap Reservoir is a five minute drive. The camping spot includes a private pond, picnic table, fire pit, and trash disposal.

Can't wait to go back

We had such a great experience at 3 Pond Ranch! I came with my kids for the weekend (5, m; 9, f) and it was perfect. The site was recently cleared, so plenty of options for pitching the tent. There's a picnic table overlooking the pond, and it sits between two trees for shade. The site is very close to Rifle Falls State Park, so if you are headed that way, this is a great option. There is also some wi-fi availability, but ideally not actually at the campsite (there's a signal at the top of the hill, but I really appreciated not having direct access at the site but still being able to get one if I needed to). The coolest thing for us is that the owner also runs a fishing guide company, and he stopped by the site when we were doing s'mores and my kids got to help stock the pond with bass. My kids had never held fish before, and Brandon and his family were super patient and friendly about it. I think folks easily remember bad trips, but this was a weekend that I will never, ever forget--for good reasons. Thank you, Brandon, for a great spot and an unforgettable experience! My kids didn't want to leave and we will be back.

Amazing stay

Tent

We loved tent camping on Brandon’s land. The private ponds are beautiful, the area is secluded and there are several state parks near by. He was an amazing host, very responsive, and attentive!
