This was a perfect peaceful spot to park our RV for the week. The hosts are wonderful and easy to communicate with, sharing their property with guests. We loved having the Colorado River right off of our doorstep for swimming and fishing. The hosts dogs Sage and Elon are super family friendly and a big highlight for my kids. Beautiful setting and easy access to Gypsum, Glenwood Springs and surrounding areas. We would recommend this spot to anyone!

We had such an amazing relaxing and fun time at the snow kist ranch. The directions were very easy to understand. We had a lot of space for our tent and car, it felt very private. We were also greeted by two adorable fun dogs who had such personalities. Being along the river was absolutely peaceful and fun. It was pretty hot out so we jumped in the river to cool down. The neighbors were nice and offered for us to use their kayaks. The cows were very cute and Nancy and Pa said we could go and pet them anytime we wanted to. We will absolutely come back to this place to stay for even longer.

We loved staying in our little van on Sarah’s land. We sat and listened to the river and eventually took a little dip! We saw the highland cows with their calves and enjoyed some fresh quail eggs from the farm.

Really special place on the rivers edge in a beautiful canyon. Cool to see some of the working farm life in action! Very kind hosts! The camp spots and houses are near one another but everyone is friendly and respectful

This is a small, no-frills family operation. Power at each site with a water spigot available near the main fire pit. No rigs over 30' due to a sharp bend in the driveway. Beautiful, quiet, and convenient to all the best that the White River National Forest has to offer. We'll be back!

Nancy and Jerry were wonderful. We really enjoyed our two nights stay by the Colorado River. It was cozy and quiet. It’s a beautiful ride in and we also took another beautiful ride to the town of Yampa. Highly recommend.

The river front campsite offered a peaceful and beautiful spot to spend a quiet and relaxing couple of days. The golden eagle pair soaring over the Colorado River was an unexpected bonus that added to the experience. I managed to hook a nice rainbow wading in a very chalky river as the spring runoff (early June) made wading difficult. I would imagine better conditions in the next week or two as the flows drop and the water clears. Wonderful host and happy dogs made the stay exceptional.

What a scenic and peaceful stay we had at Nancy and Jerry's property. We loved meeting them both as well as their neighbor Judy, who gave us some of her beautiful chicken eggs on our way out! Oh and we can't forget their sweet dogs, Sage and Elan as well as the stunning cows, we truly enjoyed just watching them and the playful ground squirrels. Thank you for sharing your home!

I had an awesome time tent camping here. Plenty of space, friendly dogs, great view, and the cattle were beautiful. The owner had knowledge on the trail systems by their place which is right by the white river national forest. I had a tree that was great for my hammock and it was fun watching the ground squirrels run around.

Beautiful 13 mile, a bit challenging drive (very windy) to property along Colorado river. Loved landscape to property and on property. Site on river very tranquil. Although there are now 6-7 sites i've been lucky to be a solo camper which I prefer. Both times I camped there early spring and late Fall, less busy time of season. Host where available to answer any questions I had.

It’s beautiful there you are right on the Colorado River. We did not have any internet. But there was a place to hike which we really liked. One of the workers on the Ranch was very helpful.

Convenient access from Dotsero, only 13 miles upstream. The sites were situated nicely facing the river, with beautiful views of the opposing cliffs. There was 30A power for each site, and a hose for potable water nearby. The hosts were very nice, and their two dogs were happy for a round of petting but not always in camp with us. I'll definitely revisit them next summer! We spent 3 comfortable nights there in mid-October.

Nancy and Jerry are terrific hosts. It’s pretty cool be be right there on the fringe of their working ranch, but they and their staff are very unobtrusive… They are very nice people, very personable (if you seek them out,) and the property is even more beautiful than the pictures. We would highly recommend to anyone to consider their ranch as a quiet and very safe destination! Observing their Scottish Highland cattle is pretty amazing as well! If you like eggs, be sure to purchase some of the quail eggs they sell.. They are very tasty!

We had a lovely stay right on the river. It is a very mellow section of the river so my young kids could play in the water without too much concern. We floated right from there down stream.

Beautiful views, camping by a river, friendly cute cows, and gracious hosts make this a place we'll return to at least a couple more times. The electrical hookup (30A) worked fine and Nancy has hose/potable water available; next time I'll haul my trailer over the divide and Vail pass w/the fresh water tank empty then fill up when I get there. There's a beautiful (but a bit long) drive to Steamboat. Gas is pricey in Gypsom and Steamboat but Glenwood Springs and Rifle are relatively close by. The sites are well kept and the roads to their ranch are paved until their driveway (which is dirt but easily traveled w/RV in tow). The WiFi also works great.

Hosts were very down to earth and welcoming. The property was awesome with beautiful river and sandstone hills. The property is off the road in nice Valley right next to the river. No store close by. Bring everything you need for your stay. Would definitely return!
