Excellent Group Site! We only host one group at a time so you can be with your family and friends in a large, flat and private space. We listed the site for up to 12 campers but feel free to reach out if your group is bigger. Please check out the newest addition of our cabin bunkhouse. Take a look at the pictures - you can add it to your stay as an extra when you book! The land was originally purchased in the 1980's. Since then, it has been used by four generations of the family as a place to gather, relax, camp and even celebrate. I had my wedding on the property in 2010. For a few years we held an annual music festival with the very inventive name of Samapalooza. Up to 400 people would attend the day filled with live music, food and drinks. You will still find the stage and bar we built as an outdoor kitchen and dining area. Around 2008, my father and I planted our first olive trees. Many have been planted since which has gifted the land the timeless sense of purpose it deserves. My father dedicated his last years to tending the young trees and now I have taken the mantle to carry the farm forward. 'The Property', as it is known amongst family and friends has always been a place to camp. I have sat around the same fire ring for decades, rain or shine. I hope that fellow hipcampers can find the joy that my family and I have experienced here. This is a very private camp on a small olive farm. Geographically close to highways and the town of Novato, Sonoma and Napa wine country, this camp feels remote and secluded. Only one camp on the property to keep it private and special. You basically have your run of the land. We have just updated the land and made some nice improvements. Located on ten acres, you will drive past a small olive grove before reaching the spacious and open campground. Just up the hill from the camp is a private pond where you can fish, take out a small boat or just sit and watch the birds. It can be great swimming on hot summer days. This spot has been used by the family for decades and is now open to share with fellow nature lovers. Just a note: While the majority of the time you can expect complete privacy, this is a working olive farm. From time to time you may run into me (Sam) or someone else associated with the land. We will always do our best to respect your space.

All of our sites are hike in sites. It's about a 1/4 mile hike on a small foot path. We have a wagon available for guests to use and we are happy to help you carry your things. Cal Fire has requested that all campers get a permit, even to operate a gas stove. Our swimming pond is about a 3/4 mile hike through brush from the restaurant but is a great way to beat the heat during the day! Campsites have a picnic table. Water from our well is always available outside of the restaurant and bathrooms with running water are available during business hours. There is a fire trail along one of our ridge lines that offers stunning views of the San Antonio Valley as well as our abundant wildlife. We sometimes host speakers and educational workshops and guests are always welcome to participate in events. Campers, trailers, RVs and Vans are welcome to stay in our lot but we currently do not have hookups available. Have a large group? We are happy to reserve group sites.

There is a BBQ grill that you are welcome to use for cooking some wonderful meals if you'd like! You can enjoy a bite to eat at the picnic table near your campsite. There is also potable water from our natural spring available onsite for guests. You can enjoy watching the birds, turkeys and deer that meander through the meadow, and feel free to roam around the property taking in the fresh outdoor air! Additional Details to Note: - Check-in is after 2pm and check-out is before 12pm - Things to bring: Everything you need to camp comfortably! Think: toilet paper, cookware, bathing suits if you like, etc. - We do not have wifi available on site and cell reception is spotty, especially for certain carriers. Please prepare accordingly for your travels and your stay. - There is a fire ban in effect, so please no campfires, but we do allow you to use a propane fire pit if you bring it yourself. - We welcome your pets! They can be off leash if they are friendly and if they don't run off - we do not have a fence. - You can contact us if you'd like to check in early - if nobody needs to check out, we are happy to accommodate you! We loved our two-night stay in November. Colleen and her dog Mimi were so delightful and welcoming to my family and two large woofers. The space fitted our 27 foot Airstream easily and the views were spectacular, especially at sunrise and sunset when the tule fog happened to be in the valley and we floated above.

Great quiet spot! The drive up had me take a very narrow road that I had to back up on so opposing traffic could pass- on my way out it took me on a wider road- just be aware if you’re on the narrow road to go slow and if on weekend be prepared to see tons of cyclists. I’m surprised time went by so quickly! I messed up and thought I booked a second night and it didn’t go through, so the hipcamper who came and Rebecca the host were very gracious about it and let me stay a second night anyways (thank you both!). Would definitely come back again. I didn’t use the porta potty- but it’s great that they offer it! The weather was beautiful and clear, warm even towards the end of November. Very damp at night as others have said, so kept things inside that can’t get wet. Had a great, peaceful time!

Directions were excellent and contact/communication were great. The spot is clearly marked and conveniently had water, power and a trash bin for use. I had an issue with the power/extension cord initially. Let the host know and I believe it was fixed later at night. It wasn’t a huge issue as my solar battery had enough power for making coffee and using microwave in the morning. My heater worked off regular battery. The location is convenient to get to downtown, which I did. It was all lit up for the Plaza lighting that evening. So fun!

We wanted to take our new van on its first overnight and Delta Shores is nearby! It was easy to find, we were welcomed and given the lay of the land. It’s a great spot with clean bathrooms. We were definitely rough out as our van hasn’t been converted to a camper yet but we had a blast! Took a great walk along the delta both in the evening and the next morning. Will return! Dog loved it!

Dino’s place was great! The property was cool, spacious, and peaceful. There were miles of hiking trails right out the back of the property, and a little boat ramp about a 3-5 minute walk that we would have used for paddling if the weather was better. The town of Locke is a very short walk and was an amazing bit of little-known history, also had some cool shops. There are a couple restaurants a short walk or drive away. Dino was very hospitable and we loved our stay! We’ll be back for sure. Oh, and I should add our dogs enjoyed exploring the area too :)

I enjoyed a lovely weekend in Airstream 3. The setting offers incredible views of the Pacific and the California coastline, and the arrival instructions were very clear. The airstream is comfortable, well-appointed, and includes all expected amenities aside from food. The cozy interior and the sound of the rain contributed to a very relaxing atmosphere. The only drawback is that Airstream 3 is outfitted with twin beds, which may not be ideal for couples. This wasn’t clearly noted in the online description, so it would be helpful to include that for future guests. Overall, a beautiful and memorable stay.
