Such a unique and peaceful spot to sleep under the Redwoods! We didn't want to leave. Good communication with host and easily accessible. Can't wait to go back!

One of the coolest sleeping experiences I ever had. Would definitely do it again and recommend it. No showers or restrooms (porta potty was 5 mins walk tho) near by so more of a 1 or 2 night experience imo!

Absolutely loved our stay among the redwoods! The tree net was cozy, peaceful, and unlike anything we've ever experienced. Woke up surrounded by nature and pure calm. Truly magical. The host was responsive and super helpful.

The site was absolutely magical. We saw the night sky from our net up in the redwoods. The sun hitting the tips of the trees first thing in the morning was one of the most incredible experiences I’ve had camping. The roadhouse restaurant was a short walk in the quiet neighborhood with excellent breakfast and dinner, and a small price to pay for a super clean bathroom with the meal. This was one of the most fulfilling camping experiences I’ve ever had.

Such an enjoyable stay up in the trees. The tree net is tucked away from the street and far enough from busy roads. We’ve enjoyed the evening lighting immensely. So romantic!

Our family of 5 absolutely love the tree net. This is our second time- we stayed a month ago and the kids couldn't stop talking about it so we booked it again before the weather gets too cold. It's somewhat unassuming when you drive up, but once you climb up and turn on the lights you're in a whole different world. Sleeping in the redwoods in the open air is amazing! We plan on returning annually.
Only suggestion to the owner to allow campers some minimal privacy is to treat it like an occupied campground and ask any of his visitors to the house (which is just up the hill) to avoid parking in the driveway for the tree net when occupied. Both times we stayed there were visitors that parked next to our car where we often change and get ready.

Great communication, the expectations were made very clear before booking. Overall great place for a night under the stars in an unique setting! Definitely worth the experience, we had a good night sleep and waking up in the morning with the sun piercing through the trees was magical!

Phenomenal experience! Went with my girlfriend and I and it was a perfect romantic getaway. Huge tip: If you live in SF without a car, this campground is very close to a public transit stop

This treehouse is super cool and such a gem , Louis is very friendly and responsive. What a cool experience to for my partner and I to open air camp in the Treenet. We had the best time. Would totally recommend it and will do it again! Thank you 10/10

We had a great time camping there for two nights. We had our two teenage girls and had a busy day exploring the area sandwiched between two fun nights on the property sleeping in the redwoods.
This property is best suited for sleeping and evening games. We enjoyed playing uno with our girls in the trees. Hiking in the area is available, but I think better hires are short drives away.
The girls heard lout noises in the woods at night and we were happy to find that it was a buck and a couple of does wondering through the site. All in all… good times!

SO much fun! We had a magical experience at the tree net and an absolutely incredible dinner at Giaco’s (walking distance). I wore a bug net to sleep but my partner didn’t - no issues with bugs at all. The twinkle lights were perfect. Loved it!

It’s pretty magical when you’re all set up there! It has its challenges such as limited space below and no working toilet but over all, it was worth a night being chummy with the redwoods, the fairy lights and the elevated net : )
Louis was quick to respond. Pump Espresso cafe down the road was excellent too.

It’s a cool one of a kind experience. 4 adults can fit, you just have to figure out your angles and also all be under 5’4” lol. It’s a rural driveway so not a lot of traffic noise at all, with the two cars we had blocking us in, it felt very cozy and private. There is a toilet about an 8 minute walk away but at night it’s just not worth it. Really glad we brought a camp toilet and privacy tent and just dumped it at the porta potty. The table/platform to cook on was a nice touch, but make sure to bring a table and chairs yourself to eat at. The area is close to a trail and shops and downtown Fairfax and when you’re in the trees, you don’t really know or feel you’re in a neighborhood. It’s great that there’s potable water but the spigot is very difficult to access in the thicket of spiky overgrown bushes behind a fence. It made for a lot of laughs because of how inconvenient it is lol. If the toilet situation and the spigot were to be fixed/improved, this would be even better. Otherwise it’s a very unique and fun stay in a great location!

The tree net was so magical - mystical and romantic, like something out of a fantasy novel. Being from Texas, we worried about insects and being cold - there were NO bugs! We laid out a thin camping pad and used an unzipped sleeping bag as a blanket, and we were perfectly comfortable temperature-wise. We only briefly met the host, and he was kind and welcoming. This hipcamp is great for couples or families or anyone really. The net and deck are very sturdy. And don’t get me started on the Redwood trees!! There are some gorgeous hikes within just a few miles of the Hipcamp.

The tree is REALLY cool! I would say this, come prepared to sleep in the tree. The tree is the magic of this site. We spent time up there with the lights on and wish we had come prepared to sleep up there. Instead, we slept in our RV parked at the base of the cluster of redwood trees. he one thing to note is this site is essentially part of a driveway (it's a beautiful driveway, but a driveway nonetheless). But when you're in the tree, none of that matters.

It’s a fantastic construction & the views above and below are gorgeous. It’s not very remote, though… it’s a little driveway with several properties nearby; to give you a sense, we could watch and hear the next-door neighbor roll out their trash bin. And not having a porta-potty nearby was mildly inconvenient, since it was not a secluded enough spot to just go in the woods. We agree that the net can hold 5 people, as long as they’re comfortable sleeping close together and don’t have much stuff. There was plenty of space for the two of us and our backpacks, but we wouldn’t have wanted to share it with anyone else aside from 1-2 little kids. Definitely take several pads to sleep on. We laid down sleeping pads, 2 layers of camping blankets, and plush sleeping bags, and still woke up with sore backs. Overall, I’m glad we went, even though it was quite pricey for what it was - it was a unique experience! I would do it over again, but wouldn’t do it for a 2nd night.

Sleeping up in the trees was so much fun! Louis was super friendly and helpful. The net felt very secure. Heads up for light sleepers - if anyone gets up in the night the whole net moves, so be prepared for that.

This was a wonderful spot to stay for my first solo campout! It is a little less secluded than I had expected, but that wasn’t an issue for me personally. I would highly recommend bringing a table if you plan to cook! The tree net was beautiful and the perfect spot to hangout in the trees and relax:)
The host was also wonderfully communicative and made sure I was prepared for my stay.

We had a great time staying here. A truly unique experience. We were driving from the Los Angeles area so wanted a unique first stop. It was great to roll up. Lay our sleeping Matt’s out and then get dinner at the nearby restaurant. The grove is more in the middle of a community so not as much in seclusion but still beautiful and I would say it’s probably more suited for 2-3 than four although we had four in our group and slept fine. The nearby restaurant and a porta potty 8 minutes walk away were the closest restrooms unless you bring your own.
