Join us to host your next getaway at the beautiful Moon Crest Valley Ranch. A perfect spot for intimate get togethers that immerse you in nature and offer breathtaking views and countless activities on over 45 acres. This is a magical spot for our family and we can’t wait to share it with yours. You will be the exclusive campers on the property after booking and the owners will reside in their house. Potential activities on site include Private Hiking Trails, Breathtaking Ocean Views, Bocce Ball, Wiffle Ball, Golf Chipping, Soccer, and more... Guests are responsible for bringing their own camping gear. Of note, the main campsite is 1/2 mile hike from parking and has a portable camping toilet setup. One of our favorite spaces is the barn area which has a fire pit, multiple seating areas with views, an oversized picnic table, bocce ball, a grill and even a TV. This is a must hangout spot during the evenings for many guests before they hike back up to the campsite to retire for the night. There is also a portable toilet at the barn for guest convenience. Moon Crest Valley Ranch is located less than 10 minutes from the beautiful Ritz-Carlton Half Moon Bay and 15 minutes from scenic Main Street Half Moon Bay. We are also only 1/2 mile away from the Purisima Creek Redwoods Preserve Trailhead that has an additional 30+ miles of gorgeous trails to explore. Bring your hiking shoes or bike!

We had such an incredible experience here! My friend and I stayed here for some yapping and immersing in nature time together over the weekend - the land is BEAUTIFUL overlooking some incredible canyons. There’s so much to do here, we frolicked around on some hikes, played a bit of baseball up on the hill, made a campfire and enjoyed the complimentary smore kit. Brendan provided absolutely everything we needed - he was such an incredible and thoughtful host, greeted us when we arrived and also gave us a tour of the land! Overall, 10/10 experience, and I feel so fortunate to have been able to spend time here and would highly recommend staying for the weekend.

We had the greatest time!! Spent a weekend with our 15 month old and two dogs. There was so much for our toddler to explore, plus enough privacy to not have to worry about our dogs barking at every little noise. Gorgeous property, convenient location, thoughtful accommodations, wonderful host. Will definitely come back to enjoy the summer season!

This site is very beautiful, in a great area, equipped with nearly every game/activity you can imagine and incredibly clean and tidy. Brendan was a wonderful and very kind host. The photos are very accurate. I can see this being a dream spot for kids or family/groups.

We had an amazing time celebrating our friend’s birthdays at Brendon’s Hipcamp! Brendon was super communicative from the beginning, happy to answer all of our questions and extremely hospitable from before we arrived to when we left. The Barn area was such a fun place to hang out and we loved being able to cook there, it made the experience really easy! He has built out his property so nicely.

Wonderful host. Made our stay extra special with his introduction and showing us around. The family had a ton of fun enjoying the place all to ourselves. We felt at home from start to finish. Will be coming back when we get the chance.

Beautiful land with spectacular views, birdsong and lovely farm animals. We were in nature but all essential amenities were thought of, and there were tons of games and activities for the entire family. Beautiful trails on property. Brendan was warm and welcoming, and visited the farm animals with our 5yo which he loved. We'll definitely be back.

This property is pure magic. Brendan the owner has really dialed in the fun factor with a one-of-a-kind campsite that has its own private wiffle ball stadium, soccer field, cornhole set up and pitching area all while overlooking the ocean and beautiful canyon that leads to the Purissima Creek preserve. Dining and social time is also terrific with bocce ball, darts and ping pong with a nice BBQ area and only ~50ft from where you park your car. There is also a fridge and BBQ. Brendan is super friendly and accommodating and genuinely enjoys the guests stories/memories created while visiting his property. We hope to be back again soon!

We had an amazing time at Brendan’s place! There were so many activities to do on the property and Brendan was very accommodating in carting our stuff up to the campsite. The views were beautiful and I would definitely recommend to others looking for a weekend getaway from the city.

Branden is an awesome host. Was very responsive to all our requests. The hang out spot had games and a barbecue grill which made it very convenient for our dinner. The campsite is very well maintained, had great view of the surrounding and full of activities. Thank you Branden for hosting us.

Brendan's property is magical! We had a really nice time staying there, unfortunately it was too short! I would like to go back for a few days and really take advantage of all the fun activities and accommodations! Brendan and his family are exceedingly gracious and accommodating. A few things of note: - the camping area (also where the mini baseball diamond is in the photos) is about a 10 or 15 minute (beautiful and pretty steep) hike up from the main hangout / picnic area - Brendan is awesome and will cart your gear to and fro with his ATV buggy thing - there are goats, they are friendly, if you ask nicely you can hang out with them - this is a highlight! - definitely stay more than one night so you can really enjoy it! - the views from the camp area are absolutely stunning, you won't want to leave! - it's pretty cool how remote it feels and only 50 minutes from San Francisco We did a short supported bike tour down the coast and this was the first stop along the way and it was an absolute dream! Works kind of perfectly for bike glamping. I'll definitely be staying here again. Real summer camp vibes!

We had a great time camping at Moon Crest Ranch. The campsite has an amazing view of the valley and the ocean beyond. The ranch has no lack of activities and our kids enjoyed the soccer field, the baseball diamond, playing darts and making s’mores down by the barn. Brendan is a wonderfully thoughtful host who had everything we might need handy before we even asked. Everything was well maintained and very clean. We will definitely be back.

Brendan's property is a dream! Only 15 mins from Half Moon Bay (we stopped at Sam's Chowder House on the way in), stunning views, miles of beautiful trails, and more activities than I've ever seen at a Hipcamp. He's an incredible host, providing little touches like hand warmers, a speaker, and more, and was very responsive when we needed anything. He even shuttled our gear up to the tent spot, which was much appreciated with the mud! Bonus: meeting his Pyrenees guardians-in-training was a huge highlight :)
