Dreamy California Coast Airstreams

My partner and I had a genuinely wonderful stay at Dreamy California Coast Airstreams. The Airstream was beautiful, quiet, private, and exactly the kind of peaceful getaway we were looking for. The whole property is incredibly relaxing and well cared for, and we loved being tucked away on the coast while still being close enough to HMB to explore! We did run into an unexpected electrical issue with our Airstream during the stay, but what could have become difficult to deal with ended up being a great example of how prompt, responsive and kind the owner and his team are. The electrical system of the Airstream overloaded due to a power surge in my computer, knocking out most of our power. Mark was incredibly kind and helpful, he actually called me and walked me step by step through troubleshooting the generator and battery issues on the spot until we got the power working again. He was patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely seemed to care that we were able to enjoy the rest of our night, and was kind enough to interrupt his evening to help me fix it! We felt extremely well taken care of. Beautiful property, peaceful site, incredibly scenic, and genuinely wonderful management. We had an absolutely incredible time and are absolutely planning to come back soon. Highly recommend Dreamy California Coast Airstreams, thanks Mark!

Disappointed

Dreamy Beach View Airstream-Sunrise

Major disappointment. We booked trailer 3 looking forward to a great time but were very disappointed. The location is as promised, but the ambiance is not nearly as portrayed in the pictures, and the stairs into the trailer are very awkward and scary if you are not as young and steady as you used to be. We found this to be a real safety hazard that made our stay quite uncomfortable and the camp host doesn’t care. The trailer is indeed a nice airstream, but really has no view from inside worth looking at. The aerial view on the web makes you think you’ll have a lovely vista of breaking waves when in reality it is just a weed covered field with the ocean at quite a distance, and even that can’t be seen through the main window which looks out at the BBQ, and fence, not the view. Also, the bed is very tall and was difficult to get in and out of. Most disappointing however was the yard around the trailer. It’s fenced in for privacy but just a sea of pea gravel. And the beautiful fence line with the great beach view in the pictures is now totally overgrown by stickery bushes as tall as the fence and growing through it by several feet just where the prime view is. So yeah, you get a great view of the beach, unless of course you want to sit down at which point all you can see is tumbleweed. Obviously they have not been maintaining the fence line since they took the pictures and again the host doesn’t care calling this crap “natural grasses.” Save your money. It is not worth it.

Incredible views... the stuff dreams are made of! We stayed with our two kids and everything was just great. We were able to find the place and operate everything without issue. The camper stayed warm on chilly nights... the firepit overlooking the sea was coziness overload. The coffee set up was great! Shower was very warm, not hot, but to be expected! Three of us were able to take quick showers and not freeze. Bedding was plentiful and comfy! We were really here for the views and were pleasantly surprised to arrive on the opening day of the stunning new county park at Tunitas Beach! Stunning, we would come back and couldn't recommend it enough. It was a seamless stay!

We had a lovely experience in our airstream. It's a very special dreamy part of the coast, and I'm so happy whoever the owners are decided to share it with us.

Communication was clear, the airstream is set up with everything you need. Everything was very clean, bed was comfortable. We stayed at site 4 and wouldn’t recommend that site. Some of the airstream was broken (some windows didn’t open, fans on the ceiling didn’t work, refrigerator didn’t stay cold). There is also a limited view of the ocean and we couldn’t really hear it, which was a big reason for booking this spot. Overall a cool place to stay, but definitely not worth the $400/night we paid.

It was a beautiful site with incredible views. The way the 4 sites were set up made it seem as though no one else was there (if you ignore the cars). The airstream itself was really cozy and clean. Really close to great hikes, beaches, and Half Moon Bay. Highly recommend staying here!

The Perfect Peaceful Getaway

With pets ·

I booked this Airstream for my husband's birthday getaway, and it was exactly what we were hoping for. The views of the Half Moon Bay coastline were absolutely gorgeous, especially at sunset. Even though there were neighboring sites, it still felt surprisingly private and peaceful. One of our favorite moments was watching a few deer casually prance by outside. It made the whole experience feel even more special. The Airstream itself was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It's not the kind of place where you'll find a long list of activities nearby, but that's honestly the beauty of it. It's the perfect place to unplug, slow down, enjoy the quiet, and simply be present. If you're looking for a peaceful escape with stunning ocean views and a chance to recharge, I highly recommend staying here. We'd definitely come back!

Very nice, but consider

The view and airstream were both wonderful; however the outside area surrounding the airstream could use a little TLC. The safety wire in the fence, at least for our particular airstream, was rusted and broken out in many places making it a bit risky for pets and/children if you bring them. Also the amount of prickly thistles made it challenging for us and our pet. However, again…… the view was great and our airstream was comfortable and in good condition. The host was responsive to questions.

Wonderful midweek stay on the coast

With pets ·

I had an amazing two-night midweek stay here for a solo “adult time-out” trip with just me and my Goldendoodle, Lulu. The views were absolutely incredible and truly did not disappoint. The location felt very private, even though there are a few neighboring Airstreams nearby. Each space is thoughtfully positioned to maximize the views while still giving guests plenty of privacy. It’s clear the owners were very thoughtful and deliberate in how the Airstreams were placed, which I appreciated. The Airstream (#4) itself was charming, very clean, and well appointed, with that perfect nostalgic feel. The bed was super comfortable, which made it easy to relax and unwind after long walks along the coast. Everything was thoughtfully equipped, and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. The host was a fantastic host, very attentive and responsive. I even managed to lock myself out of the Airstream at 7 a.m., and he responded right away to help. I also appreciated that check-in is very precise. The entry code is sent right at the 3 p.m. check-in time, which keeps things organized and secure. The sunsets were unforgettable and easily one of the highlights of the stay, along with the fire pit. It’s also just about 10 minutes to town, which is convenient, although honestly the views were so beautiful I didn’t feel like leaving much. Overall, it was a peaceful and memorable stay. I can’t wait to return, whether with my husband, a few girlfriends, or for another solo reset.

Love the airstream and location. Mark’s communication is prompt and very helpful. Though the President’s Day long weekend rained a lot and super windy for us to chill on the outside, we love to stay in the cozy and comfortable airstream. Shower and toilet work well. I had a lovely time with my sister. We will be back for sure :)

Great for a romantic weekend on the coast! The views were INSANE, and it was so nice having a pizza oven, grill, and firepit. Everything was set up ahead of our arrival, and the host was very responsive. The camper was perfect for two people and very comfortable, as well. My partner and I spent Valentine's Day grilling and watching the sunset over the ocean--would highly recommend that experience!
