Clear Lake Campground is a small, vintage RV and tent campground, established in the 1950s. Camp right on Cache Creek, the only outlet of Clear Lake. The campground offers fishing, kayaking, and boating right from Camp. A car or boat is required to get to Clear Lake. For lake fishing, Redbud Park, Highlands Park and Austin Park are all within a ten minute drive from Camp. Austin Park also has a playground and swimming beach. The park offers rustic charm with great fishing and bird watching right from your campsite. We have a boat launch for your kayak, canoe or motor boat and we have canoe and kayak rentals. Cool off in the small pool. Challenge your family to a ping pong tournament or corn toss game. Lake County guests enjoy stunning vistas, world-class wines, the largest freshwater lake in California, the cleanest air in the US and endless outdoor activities. Activities include fishing, birding, kayaking, biking, hiking and wine tasting. Our staff have been trained as tourism ambassadors and can help you make the most of your vacation. Travel trailers, campers, tents and RVs are all welcome. Most sites include water, sewer and 30 amp electric. Limited wifi. Campsites are hard packed dirt. We also have 3 partially-furnished canvas bell tents to make your stay even easier! Please note, our small vintage campground is best suited to smaller trailers and motor coaches. Sites range from 25-40 feet long and 18-24 feet wide. Please plan accordingly.

This picturesque pasture borders Wilkinson Creek and is conveniently located just 13 minutes from the entrance gate of Harbin Hot Springs and 26 minutes from downtown Calistoga. Surrounded by a 140-acre privately owned nature preserve on two sides, you'll relish in abundant wildlife sightings and the serenity of nature, away from the crowds. You'll have access to filtered drinking water from a hose and spigot, along with breathtaking mountain views and almost complete privacy, as vehicle traffic is minimal, limited to ours and our neighbors', which is set back from the pasture but partially visible. This space can accommodate a maximum of 15 vehicles, with an option for overflow parking for larger parties. This is the perfect spot to host a private group camp where you can enjoy nature while being close to town. This is NOT the place to throw your alcohol fueled party or bring any sort of guns. We are about 7 minutes South of Middletown proper. We do have neighbors so noise is acceptable until 9pm on weekdays and 11pm on weekends. We provide compost, recycling, and trash options, and it's ESSENTIAL to use the correct receptacle. Please note that our portion of the property is home to horses, dogs, and chickens, which you will briefly pass through before entering your fully fenced pasture. It’s eclectic! Built in the 50s, this place has that retro charm that makes you feel like you’ve stepped into a postcard. My 20-year-old son, my soul-dog, and I spent Labor Day weekend here, and that little dipping pool was a total lifesaver in the brutal heat. We brought our trusty popup camper from the 90s (no AC—she’s a vintage gal), so we went full MacGyver with a shade cover, a napping pad, and two “box” fans. Worked like a charm for a solid nap. When we weren’t pretending to be human popsicles, we played ping pong, cornhole, and enjoyed the slower pace. Walmart, gas, and food right across the street made it super convenient. The highway is close, but it didn’t bother us at all—kind of like grown-up white noise. I’m also terrified of the dark, but here it felt just right: dark enough for an insane star show, but not so dark I thought Bigfoot was lurking. Fishing was the main reason I booked this place, and it delivered. Each site shares a ramp with one other, small but perfect for casting a line or tying up a paddle board. It’s made for relaxing. I did spot a few teenagers looking bored, but I think they were just in the “too cool for fun” stage. Lisa was wonderful—helpful, welcoming, and full of history about the place. We had no issues at all, and I’ll definitely be back!

We loved our 3 night stay at Clear Lake Campground! Lisa was the best and our space by the creek was so picturesque. Peaceful with great birdwatching, a fun little pool, catfish & bass fishing and a games area where we played ping-pong & volleyball. The restrooms were clean and the RV hookups easy. We’ll be back : )

We have enjoyed our stay at this campground along Cache Creek. The sites are well shaded, level and spacious. Full hookups, clean restrooms, refreshing pool (around 3-4 ft deep), playground, pier, and nice common areas make it a great place to relax and enjoy. It is in a convenient location but remains more private. Sites have a picnic table and fire ring. Wood is available for purchase. Definitely recommend.

Lisa is a wonderful campsite host. The location right on Cache Creek is really quite special as is the small docks for water access from your own campsite. The site is good, though it's a little tight in terms of space between sites. Also, be aware that the southernmost sites can be a bit noisy with the roadway nearby.

Very nice site. Sadly the creek was dry but it was to be expected. Bathroom were super clean. Very nice to have filtered water available on site . Brand new fire pit with propane ( we left a grill so other can cook over it :) ). It’s a very quiet space , can’t hear anything but nature and it’s a huge site !! Owners are very welcoming , nice to be able to meet them and chat a bit . Very friendly couple . Thank for you for having us

Really nice open area that can easily accommodate multiple families. fun grassy area for activities. the bar lights are a really nice feature. the creek was fun for the kids to splash around in and catch frogs. fire pit by the creek and picnic table was great. easy to get to - access is not a problem. nearby great little towns Calistoga and Middletown. Only 15 min from Clear Lake.

Great spot! The creek running through the location is awesome! Big enough for a large group, and lots of space for bag throwing, ladder ball, etc. The awesome lighting makes it amazing at night. I am really happy I found this spot and look forward to my next trip here.
