Beautiful isolated campsite. Plenty of trails to walk. There was a clean and supplied out house. Would definitely go back.

It was pretty and campers across friendly and the owners were great, friendly, good communication. The outhouse was supplied with extra toilet paper and sanitizer and comfortable space inside to place flashlights in the dark. They checked up on us when we left to ensure our stay was good.

We would DEFINITELY come back again, it was a very very good experience, private, quiet, easy to find, close to the towns, beaches, and Awenda conservation area.
Erin is very kind and welcoming. We had a great time, it rained a lot during our stay but that did not at all affect our trip as there are lots of trees and it was easy to protect our tent with tarps and such.
The only downside was the amount of sand that we had in our tent, shoes, and car which could be avoided with our own effort lol
My advice for the next campers at this Hipcamp spot would be make sure you bring a small outdoor rug to help with the sand entering your tent, some toilet paper and lots of water!

Our ball team absolutely loved tent camping at Erin & Scott’s Tiny Hideaway! The area is beautiful, the hosts are incredibly warm and welcoming and the site is hands down the most peaceful place we’ve ever been. We would highly recommend staying here and can’t wait to return!

It was so amazing! It was super private, I don’t even know where the other sites even were! The site was very spacious and nice. The fire pit was large and super cute made of rocks. They provided some fire wood at the site as well!

It was nice and private. Everything was clean. The trails were very nice. We would definitely stay again if in the area.

Great spot, wood available if needed. Erin and her husband were very friendly and once you get to the site its very private. The driveway to get in will be the main driveway with the address sign. Would recommend. Clean, felt safe, metal fire pit, picnic tables.

Erin’s place was great! It was back in the woods out of the way with access to a bunch of trails. The dog loved it! It was very close to Awenda Provincial Park where we hikes some lovely trails and visited the dog beach. Also close were Penetanguishene and Midland, both interesting lakeside villages. Collingwood was not far where we had one of the best meals ever! Great hipcamp!

We had a really nice time at the “Tiny Hideaway - Site 2”, the campsite was well kept, a fire pit was provided and the picnic table was very useful.
One of the highlights of our trip, was heading over to “Awenda Provincial Park”, which was only a 10-15min drive from the campsite. The beaches at the park were incredible, if you’re there I highly recommend checking out Beach 4, the water is beautiful, the beach is not so crowded which makes from a pretty private and relaxed time.

The cabin was lovely, it had everything we needed. The bed and pillows were super comfy and the AC was great.
The area around is beautiful!! So many beautiful trees and so peaceful.
The mosquitos were not too bad which was really awesome and surprising for where it was located in the wood.
The hosts were lovely people! Super good vibes and really kind and attentive; they even helped us out super quick when our car battery died.
Would definitely stay here again!!

Fantastic hosts that were very welcoming and happy to assist with anything. Erin and Scott showed the kids around, introduced them to the goats, chicken, dogs and everything else. Great level spot to camp with our RV in the forest! Lots of trails that the kids enjoyed on their bikes.
This is a great retreat not too far from Toronto. Awenda Provincial Park is close by and offers great sandy beaches! Perfect base to discover Georgian Bay!

We had an amazing time at Erin's campsite!! The campsite was spotless and very serene and private. It had everything you need, and was a short drive from the bustling town of Minden. Our son had lots of fun exploring. Would definitely visit again!

Great stay. Exactly what we were looking for. Private space for family to get together with an outhouse, picnic table and fire pit. Very attentive host who had our firewood waiting for us at the fire pit. There is a second site within similar provincial park distances, we had the place to ourselves the second night. Highly recommend!

I had a wonderful time at the tiny hideaway. Erin & Scott were so welcoming and had several ideas for things to do locally.
The site was large and had everything I needed. Levelling my camper was very easy as it’s quite flat and I made great use of the fire pit and picnic table. Outhouse was very close to the site and was clean and well equipped. Site 1 & 2 are visible to each other making it great for groups or multi family. I lucked in and was the only camper during my stay so this wasn’t an issue.
Steps from the site you can venture through the 54 acres of land which I found several trails to explore. Close by are amazing beaches and hiking trails. Erin and Scott are also building a bunkie tucked nicely in the woods which will be available to stay in once completed. Will absolutely keep my eyes on this property and would recommend to anyone. Can’t wait to come back!

Great place to camp. Erin had clear instructions and the hosts were really friendly. Nice private spot to camp amongst the trees. Good firewood was provided at a reasonable cost. Clean, quiet, lovely spot. Highly recommend and will camp here again when in the neighbourhood.

My family loved camping here. The bush was great with lots of room for the kids to run around and the trails kept them busy. It is brand new so was the outhouse. She even stocked it with hand sanitizer! The trailer lots are made of sandy loam so the kids loved playing in that. There was a good fire pit and nice picnic table too. I would give it a 5 star for sure. It’s very simple to get to and town is only 2 mins down the road and 5 mins to where we launched our boat. Awesome!
