Enjoy 50 acres with walking/mountain bike trail, featuring pond with large waterfall, fire pit with wood supplied, several different sitting areas, totally surrounded by bush and farmland. 15 minutes away from historical Port Perry and Bowmanville, Enniskillen, etc. Enjoy the peace full serenity of the country.Enjoy your own picnic table and deck 200 feet from the main house for total privacy. Sleep at night to the soothing sound of frogs, tree toads and other wildlife after enjoying the 1.5km hiking trail. The spot is cool on summer nights, air con won't be required. 1 wheelbarrow Firewood is supplied for those old fashioned marsh mellow roastings etc More can be purchased. Pets welcome. Just a note since the first two campers were here we have planted trees, added toilet facilities a heated shower and generally spruced up the site.

Trip to Niagara
Bill was an amazing host, and the property was absolutely gorgeous. We used this as a basecamp for a trip to Toronto and Niagara Falls, and it was an all around great time.

Good experience tenting.
Beautiful fall site.....fantastic markets all around the area. Bill was welcoming, gave us a quick tour,and then respected our privacy. Both the shower and the bathroom were very clean and convenient! Our dog didn't want to leave, lol Would definitely recommend 🙂

Bill was very hospitable, even wood and kindling was provided which was a kind gesture. Pretty and cozy place by the pond, overall very enjoyable!

Exactly what I was looking for
I used this retreat to ease my partner and 3.5 month old into glamping and we highly recommend this! Nearly missed the entrance but don't be fooled, the quaint gravel road leads to a modern cottage and the hip camp site off. Bill gave us a tour and showed us how to use both the outhouse, the propane powered outdoor shower (this got hot super fast which was nice to after working up a sweat from setting up our tent), location for the potable water and electricity then left us alone for the rest of our stay Definitely recommend for anyone looking to get out of the city while still being close enough to get supplies if you need anything (loblaws superstore, Walmart, multiple fast food spots and gas stations approx 15min drive)

A lovely weekend on Bill's beautiful land was just what we needed and had everything that we wanted. Peace, quiet and a trail! Bill is a wonderful host and it really shows that he loves it. The space was amazing and we have many wonderful memories. Thanks Bill!
