A great campsite with cute horse views!
The grass site was easy to find, nicely located backing trees with gorgeous fall colours. Wood was pre-delivered and waiting for me upon arrival. 2 muskoka chairs and a picnic table made the campsite perfect! I very much enjoyed the cute horses, the barn and big sky view.

We stayed at your camping place Friday to Saturday (bunny trail) the place is beautiful and peaceful but the smell of the portable toilet was awful and disgusting. Not a nice experience after all, unfortunately.

We enjoyed our stay. The site faces a beautiful sunrise and is directly across from the bright red barn. Uxbridge Canine Academy use the barn for training and some classes go into the evening. A porta-potty and trash can is well maintained and is a short walk from the site beside the horses paddock. The farm is active with various users coming in and out throughout the day but there is a variety of activities nearby in Uxbridge to explore.

FOREST EDGE - FARM VIEW
This campsite had a few things going for it that made our stay comfortable in the basics. The picnic table was sturdy and gave us a good place to sit and eat. There was a fire pit for the evenings, and the ground was level enough for setting up tents with no issues.
One big plus was convenience: potable water was just a short walk away, and a portable toilet was nearby—clean and easy to access, which definitely made the experience smoother.
We also enjoyed the view of the farm animals—ponies and horses grazing in a nearby field. While we couldn’t interact with them up close, they added a peaceful, country feel to the place.
That said, there were a few things that didn’t match the listing. It mentioned chairs, but there were none. While the picnic table helped, some dedicated camp chairs would’ve made the evenings around the fire more comfortable.
The campsite was described as private, but in reality, it was semi-private at best. Right across from us was a dog training facility, and people were coming and going regularly, which took away from the sense of solitude we were hoping for.

The campsite was for enough away from the house that it felt like we had privacy. The property was beautiful. The host were helpful when we seen them the last night they put on a beautiful Canada Day firework show that we were not expecting. I would definitely recommend this place that porta potty was a little far from the campsite and was probably my only complaint.

I can confidently say that I loved staying at this farm. The host was incredibly welcoming and even allowed me to pets their ponies and I learned tremendously from about how can One build trust with horses which are one of the most incredible animals who understand human emotions. I would definitely come back and they should definitely talk about this part of the experience as well. Them all the best, they're awesome!

I arrived late and left early. Communication was great with clear directions to the campsite and the amenities. The site was level and the night sky was AMAZING! Quiet, clean and peaceful. Just perfect! Thank you!!

Had a picnic table and chairs as well as a fire ring…brought firewood and it was nice to sit by a fire at the end of a long day traveling. Was only 15 minutes from a gas station and bakeshop in Goodwood.

Loved the wide open space. Google maps took me one driveway too far but the photos helped me identify the area. I needed help figuring out where I was supposed to be but it all worked out and I had a quiet night's sleep. Never found the toilet or water but, no matter, I would definitely come back and recommend to people looking for pure simplicity.

The name Skyview is accurate! So much sky! We came in jetlagged and as soon as the moon came up, we went to sleep. Really quiet at night, very tidy grounds. We're thinking about booking again on our way back through and are now worried, as this was our first HipCamp experience, that nothing will be able to compare?

Excellent sunsets and sunrises. Bonus having some muskoka chairs and a bit of wood for a fire. Would stay again. My daughters got a chance to meet the horses and ponies on site. Enjoyed our stay in our trailer.

VICTORY GARDEN SITE
Our family had a lovely time during our tent camping stay near the Victory Garden Site. We enjoyed so much the peaceful atmosphere and open view of the farm, and being so close to the horses and ponies. The site is clean, safe and well-managed. The owner of the Skyview farm is very nice and helpful. We will definitely come back to stay again.

I spent 3 nights at the pumpkin patch. I loved the woods & meadow views all around, the beautiful ponies and walking trails. My stay was very peaceful, quiet and an amazing break from the city lights. The hosts we're super friendly and informative. I highly recommend this affordable hobby farm for your next camping adventurea short drive from the city. There is also water access, toilets near by, a firepit, picnic table and chairs at the camp site and amazing sunsets and star gazing nights. Bring your own firewood & bug spray. Come relax and breath in the fresh country air.
