Bimbimbi is located at the free flowing, clear beginning of the Murray River, at Tintaldra. We have 5 separate sites. Each site is for a single group, so you know you will only have yourselves in close proximity. Each site has access to the river, although The Fishing Hole, River Red Gums and The Big Bend have better access than The Willows and The Old Pump Hole. Swimming, fishing for Murray Cod, hiking along the river bank (we have 3km of frontage), bird watching, relaxing are typical things to do here. Or, if you are more adventurous, borrow our canoes and do a down river trip, or go for a longer hike up Pine Mountain in the Pine Mountain National Park. Or, bring your mountain or road bikes and do some cycling on the picturesque roads and trails. The campsites are well spaced out, with a minimum of 200 metres between the nearest two locations. In fact, it either impossible or very difficult to see anyone else at the other camp sites from your own camp site. Each camp site is accessible via its own track, so you won't have other vehicles driving past your camp site. We have a Leave No Trace policy, please take all rubbish with you. (This also means not throwing bottles, cans, bottle tops, aluminium foil and other non-biodegradable items into the camp fire.) Dogs are allowed, but please keep them under control, particularly if near cattle. Campfires are allowed only in braziers provided, when fire bans are not in place. You can gather your own firewood or purchase firewood from us (see "Extras"). Please arrive before dark if you haven't been here before. It is difficult to understand a new camp site in the dark. Our property, "Seven Hills Tallarook", sits high above Tallarook with deep valleys and high peaks, just over one hour North of Melbourne's CBD. The property is 600 acres of thick Victorian bush and farmed paddocks. We have a wide range of hobby farm animals - pigs, sheep, alpacas, chickens, ponies, a donkey, along with commercial heard of South African Boer Goats. As night falls, the wildlife come out to play - kangaroos, rabbits, deer and wallabies. Internally, we have in excess of 10 kilometers of roads within the property, the majority being 2WD accessible (weather conditions apply). There are parts of the property which are only 4WD accessible. Our campsites are placed to allow you to be as isolated as possible - away from other campers (you may see others as you drive past, or they drive past you). At some of our bush sites, you will be able to see other campers, but they are not close by. Additionally, we anticipate our Fire Danger Period for the 2025/2026 Summer Season will commence in the coming weeks. We have not toggled the Fire Ban on as we do still allow campfires, however campers MUST adhere to CFA guidelines at all times. On days of Total Fire Ban (TFB), no fires, including gas stoves can be lit outdoors. In event of the TFB toggle needing to be used on Hipcamp, this will advise all guests booked on that day and to all future guests. We will toggle it off once the TFB is removed. Furthermore, we reserve the right to ask you not to light a fire regardless of TFB status if we feel weather conditions are unsafe, especially the wind element. We cannot plan the weather and the request to not light your campfires will most likely be on the day and we will advise as such. Polly's Paddock is a quiet camping area on the Mornington Peninsula. We are a couples only camping (adults only), no children, for safety reasons with a dam close by. Only 15 minutes from Mount Martha village and Mornington, restaurants, amazing wineries, weekend markets, cafes and golf courses. We are 10 minutes from swimming beaches and 20 minutes from surf beaches. This is a 5.5 acre block, consisting of the host’s residence, garden and parkland. Polly's Paddock is half of the block. We offer 2 flat caravan sites, both with drinking water , 1 with limited power , the other no power. There is a site with a glamping tent set in the garden. The 6 metre round tent sleeps 2, with a queen size bed, linen provided. It is carpeted, has a fridge, kettle and BBQ. Just pack your toothbrush, clothes, food and drinks. All 3 sites have the use of a shared composting toilet. For a refreshing experience there is an outdoor, open air hot shower overlooking the dam. Close by is a spacious shelter/shed with tables, chairs and a rustic kitchen area with sink and heater. Well behaved dogs are accepted on the caravan sites, but we ask that you please discuss with us prior to booking. Buffalo Heights is a non-certified organic vege gardens, sustainable timber sawmill and timber/building work. There is a small music festival stage. The property is available for caravans and has a camping space, outside kitchen area and toilets. 30 mins from beaches, 45 mins to Wilson's promontory.

Kilbirnie Peak Glamping is situated on our 6th generation family farm. Here, you'll find a sunrise and sunset lovers delight. Bleeting sheep in the distance, kangaroos grazing below, eagles flying above, a true farm life glamping experience. The main operation here on the farm is cropping canola, wheat, barley, lupins and running merino ewes to grow fat lambs and wool. Tim and Susie with sons Joe and Sam live at the homestead 2km from the glamping site, we’re all happy to assist with any problems that may pop up. Book with us, and you'll arrive to your gorgeous tent furnished and ready to relax. The 5m Bell tent is uniquely situated in a secluded old tin shed amongst the Berrimal Hills with incredible 360 views on top of the peak. The accommodation is set up for couples, with a queen bed and many extra comforts to help you unwind, including the indulgent bath with a view (with hot water!), flush toilet, hot water shower, well equipped camp kitchen and more. If the weathers cool, warm up at the fire pit or by the wood burning fire. Book a gourmet boz with cheese and crackers, or order a pizza prep box for the gas pizza oven as additional treats during your stay. For larger groups, we can also provide a 3 metre bell tent or Carrie the Caravan both fully furnished for an extra fee. Message us for details.

A group of us stayed at the Cozy Pozy Caravan and Site 2 of Tamara's farm for 3 nights over the new year. We had a great time and Tamara was a fantastic host! Site 2 has a bit of a slope, but there were enough flat areas to comfortably set up 2 tents, a gazebo, and a campervan (with levelling ramps). The camping area is open, but surrounded by beautiful trees with heaps of birdlife. Also friendly goats and sheep that were super cute! Would recommend staying here, and hope to come back!

Weekend Trip to Polly's Paddock

My partner and I loved the glamping at Polly’s Paddock. We stayed for 2 nights and would have happily stayed for longer. Firstly, Amanda and Geoff were so kind and accomodating. We could tell how much care had been put into maintaining their beautiful property and facilities. There was a clean, toilet with running water and a lovely outdoor shower. Also, the tent had everything we needed- kettle, fridge, cutlery, dishes, fan. Both of us are 6ft tall and could comfortably walk around in the large tent, and the bed was really comfortable. I can’t recommend staying here more, we are planning on coming back soon. Only 5 minute drive to the beach and nearby shops. Thank you so much for the lovely stay :)

What a special experience at Susan’s place. The bath is spectacular!!!! Susan has thought of every detail. Plates, glassware, tea and coffee - it all made the glamping very glamorous! The tent was very cosy and extra blankets much appreciated as the temperature did drop at night. Thanks Susan for making such a special guest house.

Great cozy little spot for us fair weather campers. It was a perfect spot for my two city kids, 3 & 9 yrs old. A simplistic night away. All cooking utilities supplied. Just take your bedding. Easy! The kids loved feeding the goats and lighting the small camp fire. Literally a 2 minute drive to Kinglake servo for some basic supplies.

Fun mix of salvaged materials and native plants! We enjoyed our stay. A few practical considerations: 1. lots of glass, so bring a sleep mask if you wake with light 2. fold out 2nd bed is soft and springy 3. lots of pets in the past and some old furniture, so bring allergy/asthma meds if you might need them Had everything we needed, composting toilet smelled great, and gracious hosts!

We had the most relaxing, enjoyable weekend tucked away in the cabin. Very private, warm and with the amenities you need: comfy bed, tidy bathroom, cooking supplies. We enjoyed both cool evenings and rain at night - which was pleasant thanks to the cosy wood burner - plus blue sky days which made for great exploring and spotting wildlife, also close to the inlet and Venus bay. We were welcomed with freshly harvested strawberries from Jo which was a delight!

I had such an amazing getaway at this beautiful farm. The host and her mum were incredibly welcoming and made me feel right at home and their hospitality was truly exceptional. 3 nights at Window to the Wetlands

The camping areas are huge clean and have wonderful undercover areas. The bathrooms are clean and modern. There’s a personal touch and little thoughtful things everywhere. The hosts are amazing, so friendly kind and approachable. We had 2 tents, 2 camping trailers, a trailer and a 4WD and still had room around us. There’s an assortment of farm animals and wildlife to see. The chickens were super cute and inquisitive. We came with all our camping gear but could have left 90% of it at home. There’s a walking/bike trail right out the front into town. The kids loved to ride scooters down to the shops and lovely local bakery. Right near the Fauna Park, a short walk away. Free firewood and excellent fire pits were great at night. Everything was nice and clean and the drinking water tastes great. The land is very flat and well maintained. The grass is lush and green. There is a lovely little hill with a chair you can watch flocks of birds fly over into the wetlands of an evening. Very quiet area and surrounding streets are quiet. It was very peaceful. This is now our new favourite camp grounds. We will definitely be back again and again. Highly recommend! 10/10 stars!

beautiful spot for a circuit-breaker from city life. Technically, you're in a tent, but it's the size of a small apartment, so it's easy to just chill out, relax, and unwind. A decent kitchen, bathroom, a lovely and a lovely little deck from which to gaze at the stars make this place a delight.
