Green Falls is located on a 134-acre cattle farm in Wangoom, 10 min drive from Warrnambool. We have created a space that offers relaxed, laid-back, country luxury. The paved space includes a hot tub, table and chairs and fire pit. But the best feature of all is the stunning scenery - sit back and enjoy the simple beauty, as the sun rises or sets on the peaceful landscape. By night, the stars are simply brilliant. Surfing lessons, fishing, kayaking and whale watching are just a few of the many local activities you can enjoy during your stay. Alternatively, why not enjoy a quiet afternoon on one of Warrnambool’s beautiful beaches, explore nearby Port Fairy, or experience the magic of nearby Hopkins River Falls? You can purchase wood or BYO. Please see Extras at the time of booking. Whilst we can accept well-behaved dogs, we ask that you please discuss this with us prior to booking. Carla's directions to the property were spot on, and we found her place easily. We stayed at Carla's place in our 20ft full size van, with our cavoodle for 5 days and absolutely loved it. We went in late July, so as expected it was cold and there had been a fair bit of rain, so there was no driving on the grass which makes sense. We had fantastic views from the camp site, and the facilities were excellent. We loved sitting and watching the cows and calves and taking in the scenery, just chilling out. The firepit was great, and the wood we purchased was plentiful. There is also plenty to do in the area, it is very close to Hopkins Falls, which was thundering due to the rain, and Warrnambool is just 15 minutes down the road. And of course there is the bath! We had a wonderful, quiet, restful stay, and we will definitely be back!

The views were amazing, especially being able to catch a sunrise! Everything was clean and easy to find. Carla was very helpful and all her instructions were clear which made the trip a breeze! This spot is great for a romantic getaway if you love camping :)

We loved our stay! Absolutely perfect for our busy (and noisy) family of 6! Kids loved seeing the cows, ‘helping’ Kev feed them and even a tractor ride thrown in for one of our boys who couldn’t stop grinning!! Outdoor bath next to the fire pit is a great addition to the setup and we would love to come back with friends next time. Magic view looking out towards the river especially at sunrise and sunset. Thanks heaps for a great weekend!

We loved camping on Carla’s property! The view is stunning & we got to watch the most spectacular sunrise. Cows are super cute and so many babies around. Highlight is definitely watching the fire from a hot bath! Only a short drive into Warrnambool. (Bring earplugs if you think a cow mooing 10 meters from you in the middle of the night might wake you up! Ha ha ha) Highly recommend!!!

We had a great experience at this private campsite. Waking up to the beautiful sunrise view and hearing the nearby farm animals in the morning made the stay really relaxing and enjoyable. The only downside was that the toilet and BBQ area could have been cleaner and better maintained. Overall, it was still a lovely camping experience.

Great little one night stop over at Green Falls. We camped with our Roof Top Tent Setup and didn’t need to do the full awning setup due to the undercover dining area available on site. The bath was an added bonus however certain not super hot for those that like a very hot bath. The sunrise in the morning was next level and I highly recommended getting up early to take it all in. The site is a working farm and many cows are scattered around in fenced off paddocks. Even got to have a chat with the Farmer in the morning who explained the workings of the farm. Great spot highly recommended.

It has been such a beautiful place — so peaceful with an amazing view. The bath and the water were perfect to relax. My kids absolutely loved this place, and it was very comfortable for us even with our tent, as we don’t have a caravan. There was everything we needed — the firewood, the fire pit, the pergola — everything was perfect. Thank you so much!

This is a beautiful piece of grassy land gently rolling down from the campsite with beautiful views across cow paddocks to the eastern horizon. The outdoor bath and comfortable undercover sitting area with water and power were a highlight. The caretaker was on hand to sort out a power issue and I felt safe camping solo. Carla’s communications were excellent. Highly recommend for rural bliss.

This Hipcamp was worth paying a little extra! The bath was a luxury with running hot and cold water. Carla has designed the space thoughtfully - there is a privacy screen so you can strip off even if the occasional bloke is working around the farm. There is a large undercover area that provides shelter from the wet and wind, and a large fire pit with comfortable chairs. The best part was the views of the rolling hills and cows with their calves 🐮. Would highly recommend.

This stay was even better than expected! After traveling the great ocean road and staying at state campgrounds, it was so nice to have our ow space with private amenities. We were able to use the grill, build a fire and the best part was the outdoor tub runs hot water! We visited during calf season so we had so much fun watching the baby cows during our stay!

This site is a perfect blend of nature and convenience. Everything was clean, functional, and well-maintained. The Highlights: • Facilities: Modern flushable toilets and consistent hot water made the stay incredibly comfortable. • Cooking & Dining: The private pergola and high-performing gas BBQ provided an excellent, shaded space for all our meals. • Evening: The fire pit was well-positioned and perfect for the nights under the stars. Carla is a fantastic host. Special thanks to Carla for being incredibly understanding. Our gazebo frame was damaged during high winds, and the she graciously allowed us to leave it behind for disposal, saving us a massive headache on the pack-up THANK YOU SO MUCH.

My husband and I had a beautiful night here with our Rottweiler Puppy who is healing from major surgery!! The bath with the rainwater was divine and it truly is a magic spot with everything you need plus more!! We shall most definitely return and it’s now on our go to spot in our travels!! Absolutely beautiful site. Well curated with a wonderful pavilion set up that offers shelter and a gathering space for guests. Stunning views out across the paddocks and especially beautiful and clear skies for stargazing. Barbeque and outdoor bath provided and a small toilet available. Not too far from coffees at the general store and a 12 minute drive into Mt Gambier. We loved our time here. Thank you

A really beautiful spot and so easy to get to Warrnambool. The kids loved the cows and facilities were good. Would camp here again. I would say it’s better suited to camper van/caravan, but was fine with a tent also.
