Cedarwood Cottage is a gorgeous private retreat, perfect for couples or families. Our cottage is located in spacious and natural acreage set in a park to give privacy and seclusion. Located in the Lorne / Otway Hinterland only 15 minutes or so from the beaches, restaurants and main street activities of Lorne and the Great Ocean Road. ​The cottage sleeps four comfortably, with a light-filled kitchen/living/dining space to use at your leisure.Cedarwood Cottage is set in private, natural acreage close to Lorne. Ideally located near beaches, wildlife, bush-walking trails, Great Ocean Road and local wineries. Our modern self-contained cottages have everything - including a cosy log fire. ​The cottage sleeps four comfortably, with a light-filled kitchen/living/dining space to use at your leisure. Play board games by the log fire, enjoy a barbecue outdoors, listen to the birdlife on the deck, visit the animals nearby, or head out on an adventure! You might even spy the occasional echidna waddling past your window. Why not book one of our experiences or packages under Extras for a truly memorable visit. We welcome pets and the cottage is very well equipped for dogs. With a securely fenced area around the cottage and a large acre block of grass and bush for your dogs to run and play under supervision (fenced but not for dogs), your dog will have a great holiday here! There are dog bowls and mats beside the beds for dogs. The entire cottage has wooden floors or tiles. There is a dog-friendly beach in Lorne just 15 minutes away. Many of our guests keep coming back because their dogs have such a good time! Cedarwood is a 12-acre hobby farm, previously part of an old dairy farm in the rolling green hills, the block boasts easy access to the best parts of the Otways and Surf Coast without the traffic or hustle.

Very nice little cabin with all you need. Serene spot with friendly horses and dog. Not far to Lorne for swim and shops.

Cedarwood Cottage
The cabin was warm and inviting,facilities modern and very clean. A small fenced yard was perfect for our mini schnauzer and the area was quiet and peaceful. We were 20minutes out of Lorne where our pup had some great beaches to run on and we could enjoy a coffee too.

I absolutely loved this accommodation. So close to beach and rainforest walks. Open fireplace, and all the necessities provided. Also so great that I was able to bring my dog along with no hassle. Would stay again ☺️
