Step beyond the easy-access camps and into the raw, untouched side of the property. This is a true hike-in camping experience across approximately 500 acres of rugged “back paddock” — a mix of rocky outcrops, bushland, waterways and remote forest with no vehicle access. Park at the homestead, shoulder your gear, and head out on foot to find your own private campsite within the property boundaries. There are no marked sites — just space, solitude, and the kind of quiet you don’t get in a campground. This option is ideal if you: • Want a genuine off-grid experience without the crowds • Are training for multi-day hikes or expeditions • Enjoy self-sufficient, low-impact camping • Don’t mind carrying everything in and out Important: • Walk-in access only — no vehicles beyond the homestead • You must bring all your own gear, water, and supplies • Leave no trace — pack everything out If you’re after convenience, this isn’t for you. Shady Glade
My son and I spent our first time there in a wide open grassy paddock that a creek backed onto. Matine the host was very friendly and helpful with us and helped us settle in later in darkness. Plenty of land to explore so expect a lot of walking if you are into that sort thing. Very peaceful and serene. Would definitely go back again!

We had an excellent stay at Glenmaye Farm – Creekside Camping. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and incredibly well maintained. The creekside setting creates a relaxing atmosphere, with plenty of space between campsites so you never feel crowded. The natural surroundings are stunning, and we enjoyed exploring the property, relaxing by the creek, and taking in the scenery. The hosts were welcoming, friendly, and clearly take pride in providing a great camping experience. If you’re looking for a quiet escape with beautiful views, fresh air, and a genuine connection to nature, Glenmaye Farm is hard to beat. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return. Highly recommended.

We stayed on the eagleview site in our rooftop tent. Was amazing spot with awesome views. We hiked to the beautiful waterfall and up some other steep hills including an amazing boulder overlooking our campsite where we sat and drank wine while watching the sunset. Had a cosy campfire and stargazed all night. Was private and serene and was a much needed getaway. Would recommend to anyone wanting a getaway. We only stayed one night but it was well worth the drive from Melbourne.

We ABSOLUTELY LOVED our Hipcamp stay with Martine and her family, the stay was magnificent the sunsets on the rolling hills the Creekside the kangaroos and cows were also such a treat to have around the property is truly beautiful the site we had was so big which for us with a 9m caravan plus a big GMC Denali was a breath of fresh air🙌🏻 we had a fire which set the scene every night with a glass of wine watching the sun go down. We highly recommend this farmstay 👌🏻

What a beautiful little hidden gem this place is. We had the creekside paddock and were able to get the van in and out with the greatest of ease. Quiet, clean, great scenery/wildlife and best of all……no phone reception!!!! 15 minutes from either Euroa or Violet Town if you need civilisation. Greeted on arrival by the hosts and they were also great. Was told to take the 20 minute hike for the “surprise”. I won’t spoil it for others, but it was an easy hike and highly recommend you do it if staying here. Well worth it.

Oh I absolutely LOVE staying at Glenmaye Farm! This was my second visit and I will definitely be back again. We stayed at “On the Banks” this time which is an absolutely dreamy campsite - perfect amount of shade and privacy and access to the creek and walks and everything. Thank you so much to Matine and family for making us so welcome, looking forward to visiting your lovely place again soooon 🙏🏻💚🙏🏻

Shady Glade
My Son, small dog and I spent a couple of nights staying at site Shady Glade. This was our first Father and Son trip away, and I really liked the idea of a private site, where if things went south I could drive him home and come back for the gear the next day. We had a pleasant and peaceful stay, with all going well, and enjoyed exploring along the creek to the waterfall. Night time by the fire with hot chocolate and roasting marshmallows followed by a bit of stargazing. Matine and Father Albie were wonderful hosts and made sure you had everything you needed. I can highly recommend Glenmayne to fellow campers

We loved our stay at Glenmaye Farm! Our campsite (Highside) was beautiful, with incredible views and such a peaceful, serene atmosphere. There was plenty of space to relax, and our dog Romeo had the best time running through the paddocks and playing with Ben, the gorgeous farm dog. There’s also a lovely creek just a short walk from the campsite that’s definitely worth checking out. Matine’s family welcomed us on arrival and showed us to our campsite—they were so friendly and made us feel right at home. We’d absolutely love to come back!

Just a wonderful spot. Beautiful rolling hills and rocky outcrops. Great for an energetic walk with awesome views as your reward. The creek and waterfall a sensational and super refreshing for a swim. Each camp area is well segregated from others, and having our dogs with us next to a ripping camp fire was just great. We will be back.

Beautiful location that felt isolated but only a 15 minute drive to Euroa. The campsites were well maintained and the Highside camp was very private. The kids loved the access to the creek, the open space for bike riding, and Ben the working dog! The property provides good hiking opportunities, centred around the amazing waterfall and swimming holes. Matine and family are great hosts. Highly recommended!

We stayed for only one night. Although it took a 2.5-hour drive from Melbourne, it was definitely worth it. The views are stunning, and it’s a great place for people who enjoy bushwalking.

Absolutely beautiful property. Perfect campsite for our young family. Secluded even over Easter weekend. Beautiful walks and scenery. Martinez’s Dad went out of his way to spoil our kids. Took them on a ride on his RTV to see the cows, feed the horses and a tour of their family veggie garden and orchard. We can wait to return

Such a beautiful and magical place to camp! This was our first place to camp with our new van. Truely a beautiful property, great hiking, stunning views! Would highly recommend !! A little steep in price, but worth it for a group :)
