A hidden gem in the Strathbogie Ranges, Glenmaye Farm is a peaceful 700-acre regenerative cattle property where guests come to slow down, reconnect with nature and enjoy the simple pleasures of country life. Our spacious campsites are spread across different parts of the farm, giving guests plenty of room to relax and enjoy the peace and privacy that many campgrounds simply can’t offer. Whether you’re camped near the creek, tucked amongst the trees or enjoying sweeping views across the valley, you’ll feel a world away from the everyday. There’s plenty to explore during your stay. Wander through more than 500 acres of bushland and granite country, hike the hills for spectacular views, watch kangaroos and wallabies grazing at dusk, and enjoy brilliant star-filled skies at night. Faithfulls Creek runs through and alongside parts of the farm and is a beautiful feature of the surrounding landscape. Guests can explore the creek, discover natural swimming holes and take the walk towards beautiful Marraweeny Falls. The creek, its waterways and Marraweeny Falls are natural features of the broader landscape and are not offered as private or exclusive areas for Glenmaye guests. Other members of the public may also access these areas. The creek and waterfall areas are natural and undeveloped. Tracks can be steep, rocky, uneven and slippery, and reaching the waterfall involves walking over and around rocks and uneven terrain. Water levels and conditions can change with weather and rainfall. Guests choosing to explore these areas should take care, wear suitable footwear, supervise children closely and only enter the water or undertake walks that are appropriate for their own ability and the conditions at the time. Glenmaye is also a working cattle farm. Depending on the season, guests may encounter cattle, farm vehicles, fences, gates, uneven ground and other normal features of a working rural property. Children should be supervised and pets must be kept under control and on leash as required. Campfires are part of the Glenmaye experience when conditions allow, but may only be used in designated fire pits and are subject to seasonal restrictions, Total Fire Bans and any directions from the host. Glenmaye is a place for families, couples, adventurers and anyone looking to escape the noise and crowds. With abundant wildlife, beautiful scenery and plenty of space to explore, many guests describe staying here as feeling more like a private nature reserve than a campground. Backcountry Hike-In Camping Step beyond the easy-access camps and into the raw, untouched side of the property. This is a true hike-in camping experience across approximately 500 acres of rugged “back paddock” — a mix of rocky outcrops, bushland, waterways and remote forest with no guest vehicle access. Park at the homestead, shoulder your gear, and head out on foot to find your own private campsite within the property boundaries. There are no marked sites — just space, solitude, and the kind of quiet you don’t get in a campground. The site sits on the opposite side of the creek from our main camping areas and is reached by crossing a **single-lane farm bridge followed by a tight turn**. While the camping area itself has plenty of space for a group, the access makes Highside best suited to multiple smaller camping setups rather than large caravans or RVs. ⚠️ **IMPORTANT ACCESS INFORMATION:** Highside is **not suitable for large caravans or large RVs** due to the single-lane bridge and tight turning access beyond it. Set on the higher country at Glenmaye, Stargazer is a small, elevated campsite with **beautiful views across the farm and wide-open skies overhead**. Designed for **solo campers and couples**, Stargazer is particularly well suited to a 4WD with a rooftop tent or a swag. There is room for a small ground tent, although the ground can be hard and rocky in places. The site sits a little way down the hill from Eagle View, with trees and the natural slope of the land separating the two sites. From Stargazer, you can look out across much of Glenmaye while still having your own little patch of the hill. As the name suggests, this site really comes into its own after dark. With very little between you and the night sky, it's a beautiful place to light the fire, pull up a chair and spend the evening under the stars. 🌬️ **WEATHER & EXPOSURE:** Stargazer is an exposed site and can experience strong winds and changing conditions. Beautiful spot lovely host, was a little hard to find where to even begin to find the waterfall as there wasn't much pointing to it but after climbing over a few rocks it was really nice. I'm sure the host would've helped had i asked but the adventure of seeking it out made it even better

Highside Family.
Beautiful farm with fantastic hosts. Lots of secluded little campgrounds for privacy, huge stunning area with lots of granite covered hills, cool clear creek (would be great in the summer), well looked after property. We’ll be back for sure to explore more. Can’t recommend Glenmaye Farm and Matine highly enough. We even had a lovely visit from the farm’s dog for a play and pat.

We had a lovely stay here! The paddock was huge and gave the kids plenty of space to run around and explore. They absolutely loved having easy access to the water and spent ages looking for yabbies. 🦞 The kids also loved watching the cows wander around the paddock, which was a highlight for them. We all enjoyed walking along the water to the waterfall too. The kids ranged from 4–9 years old and all really enjoyed the walk. It did have its challenges in places, particularly with some slippery sections, but that just added to the adventure! A beautiful, peaceful spot with plenty for the whole family to enjoy. We’d definitely stay again!

We just got back from an amazing 4-night stay at Glenmaye Farm! Matine is a great host and made sure everyone had what they needed. The toilets were clean and easy to get to from all the campsites, the views are insane, and the peace and quiet is so relaxing. We ordered some firewood as well, and it was the best I've burned in years. Great fires with no smoking wood. Euroa is a short drive away if you need anything. There's hardly any reception on the farm, just a few bars here and there, which made it even better for us. We put the phones away and just enjoyed it. Most sites are fenced and so large that our dog could run around freely, up to a point. Bring a long leash, as cows or wildlife might wander through. There are really good walks on the property, and it's so hilly that every trip doubles as exercise. 🙂 We'll definitely be back soon. Thanks so much, Bec

This may have been the best Hipcamp that we have stayed at in Victoria!! Everything about Glenmaye Farm was incredible. Firstly, the grounds are really well maintained, and very comfortable to pitch a tent (and includes toilet facilities which was an absolute bonus). There is a creek running through the entire property, which our dog absolutely loved swimming in and exploring. Whilst there are other campers onsite, we felt that the stay was super private and secluded in the best way possible. There is so much to do here, it is perfect for families, large groups and most importantly, it's dog friendly! We went exploring every day and never ran out of adventures to take our dog on, including rock hopping near the creek to find the waterfall, hiking the mountain and seeing the incredible view of the farm, and spotting native wildlife like echidnas, wallabies and kangaroos. We absolutely adored all of the animals on the farm, like the two friendly dogs, the horses, chooks and cows. The property has clear signage and our site was really easy to get into, even with a 2WD. It's clear that Matine has put a lot of effort into the property, and her hospitality is something that makes this place such a gem to stay at. She went above and beyond for us, and was so wonderful, generous and kind when our rambunctious dog accidentally got out. She made sure we had a comfortable stay, and was happy to have a chat. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. We already miss it and can't wait to rebook in the future.

Backcountry Hike-In Experience
Absolutely beautiful country and brilliant hosts. We stayed in the backcountry, surrounded by rolling hills blanketed in wildflowers that stretched as far as the eye could see, like a colourful carpet covered in horney kangaroos. This spot isn’t for the faint-hearted, with its steep hills and gullies, so I’d definitely recommend packing light! Our hosts were incredibly kind and even gave us an unexpected lift up the steep ridge to our campsite, sharing a great yarn and plenty of chuckles along the way. Be prepared to hike up and down very long steep hills. Snake season is here so be extra careful. A truly stunning place with excellent people. We will happily come back to explore more of the gullies and streams. Cheers legends!

A beautiful property and a great way to spend a few days exploring the area. The walk to the waterfall and watering holes and back down along the creek bed rock hopping was a great family activity. We camped at Creekside Paddock, our kids spent hours and hours playing in the creek. We loved the farm animals. Ben the dog was a great tour guide. Matine and Alby were great hosts and nothing was too much trouble. We will be back again.

We were blown away with how beautiful the property and the campsite was. We were lucky enough to book the Sleepy Hallow spot, where we were close to the gentle flowing river and surrounded by greenery. The walk up to the waterfall was beautiful. We barely saw anyone else the entire time we were there. Matine was an incredible host, as were her beautiful parents. We cannot wait to come back again and tell our friends and family about it. Thank you for such a relaxing stay! It was exactly what us city folk needed ☺️

My corgi and I had the absolute best overnight stay here in August The scenery is breathtaking lush green hills, dramatic rock formations, and wide-open blue skies. It was unbelievably peaceful and quiet, giving us plenty of space to unwind. My corgi was in absolute heaven exploring the wide-open space, and I couldn't get enough of the panoramic views. We'll definitely be back!

Camping, Hiking and Beautiful night

We had an amazing stay and received a very warm welcome from the lovely dogs, Cloie and Ben. Ben even visited our campsite a couple of times, which made the experience extra special. Matine was very friendly and provided everything we needed during our stay. We went on an evening hike to Faithfull Falls, and it was absolutely awesome. The waterfall and surrounding scenery were beautiful. At night, the sky was incredibly clear, with the Milky Way clearly visible above the campsite. It was peaceful, relaxing and a perfect nature getaway. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves camping, hiking and beautiful night skies.
