Discover Knightville Dam's natural beauty and array of outdoor activities.
Discover the most magical spots to pitch your tent or park your rig on your next Knightville Dam adventure.

In the Berkshire foothills lies Knightville Dam, a savior from city life in shining armor. An all seasons adventure, you can cross country ski and snowmobile the west side of the park to kick those winter blues. In the spring catch the dam itself in action, as it releases water for the annual Westfield River Wildwater Canoe Races. You’ll find ample trout fishing, pheasant and game hunting in the area (with a permit, of course), along with plenty of trails for you to explore. Much of Knightville Dam is underdeveloped, let it save you with a chance to get away and reboot and recharge with Mother Nature.
The best time to visit Knightville Dam is during the spring and fall when the weather is mild and the natural landscape is at its most vibrant. Summer offers warm days perfect for water activities, while winter provides a snowy wonderland for cold-weather sports. Avoid peak holiday weekends for a more peaceful experience.
