i loved camping on Michaels land. His directions were clear and communication great. Nice amenities and surrounding area was gorgeous
The site offered a classic camping experience with riding access to the local trail networks and Thunder Mountain. the host, Michael, was easy to communicate with and offered good advice on the local trails and spots.

Had a great time at Michael’s camp! Rustic and simple, but everything you need. Outhouse with refillable flushing toilet, RV plug in, firepit with wood. Access to DRT trails for biking and a brewery just down the road. A billion stars at night! Lots of communication with Michael and he provided helpful advice about the area.
Would stay again.!

Mikes camp is such a gem. We came for a few days on mountain biking at Thunder and this was a perfect base camp for us. From camp to the lift in minutes! Mike was very responsive and text / chatted before, during and after our trip. Having the cover to keep the dew off in the mornings was great. Great little place!

We had a wonderful time tent camping at Mike’s basecamp. Great views of nearby mountains and stars on clear nights. Easy drive to nearby shopping and coffee. Mike knows so much about the local area and happy to make recommendations. The awning on site provided welcome shelter from frost and rain on our tent.
Great remote spot!!! Mike was very knowledgeable of the area and answered all of our questions immediately!!! Perfect place for a little getaway from it all. He allowed use of his fire pit and wood, gas stove, and had electric hook up for anything needed. There is a plenty of water given his outdoor well pump and has a bathroom set up for use (covered and private). We pitched our tent under his camper shed given frost (if tenting would recommend an air mattress), but we stayed warm and dry both nights. Beautiful hikes, eateries and breweries within 15-30 minutes! Thanks again, Mike!!!

This is a great spot -- off the beaten path, but not too far. It was very quiet except for some mooing from cows at a nearby field. The Adirondack chairs are very, very comfortable and the access to a flush toilet was tops.
Michael was super helpful and had lots of recommendations for us. Would go back in a second!

Mike is super easy to reach and talk with. He gave a lot of helpful tips for the campsite and the area. The campsite is perfect, back on a quiet road near town with plenty of space.
Awesome spot with more amenities than we could have ever wanted! The ground is pretty sloped or covered in gravel, so could be slightly difficult for tents (we hammocked between the vertical poles of the structure over the RV). There's also a road right below the site that is NOT BUSY but definitely means that people can see you and your gear if they do come by. The hose water on site is clutch, especially after a dusty day at the bike park and having a few Adirondack chairs on site is also amazing, there was also a BBQ with a full propane can and lighter. The host was insanely helpful and seemed to know the area well and really want us to have the best possible time while there.
My favorite part about the property was the fireflies that not only blinked at a strobe rate, but also blinked in sync with each other!!

Michael was a great host. Well supplied campsite and easy to find. The views were amazing and the quiet nights for sleeping were some of the best I’ve had. Definitely look forward to staying again!
Michael was so helpful even before our trip. Great communication and a camp in a great area. We ride our motorcycles camping and are always on the lookout for great packed dirt roads and twisty tarmac to ride on. Micheal sent me a map with some great local roads to ride on so that we could get the best out of our stay.

We were only looking for a flat protected spot for our winter tent. This fit our need. What we didn't realize is that the RV can be part of the package..Nonetheless we were cozy, warm and protected. We used the burn barrel supplied and the portable fire pit. Between the two and the well stocked wood shed we stayed warm and toasty for two nights. Highly recommend hiking up E Road past the ski area and see the solar field. Quiet place. Bring your own amenities if you are tent camping.

Beautiful setting! Great view. Nice flat parking area. Bathroom facilities available. Beautiful area. Host was very helpful and flexible with checkout time. Would definitely stay here again.
Really quiet spot with an East facing view. Close enough to walk/ride to town. I’ll definitely be coming back, and can’t recommend it enough!
