Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Welcome to... 🐎 Westward Haven Rest and Ride!! 🐎 🌞SE of Ellensburg, WA🌞 Directions: Exit 116 (Kittitas) off I90, east of Ellensburg. Turn south on Clemen. Turn east (left) on Sorensen. Turn south (right) on Hamilton. Turn east (left) on Busch. You don't need to have horses, but if you do, we have the best overnight spot for you! We provide a lovely, safe and smooth sand riding arena, and 2 stalls/pens for shelter. Bring your own feed and clean up after your horse and yourselves. Water is available. The parking lot is large enough for RVs and horse trailers. You must be self-contained. No bathrooms available. Picnic table available. No daytime stays unless arrangements are made with host. Overnight hours are 7pm- 10am. No loud disturbances. No open fires. Respect property, the KRD water ditch (keep pets and children from), other customers and neighbors. Thank you for your respect! đŸ«¶đŸ»You are welcome to use our arena parking lot at night! It is a level gravel parking lot large enough for the largest RV or truck and trailer. Please park with some distance between you and other vehicles. Thank you! If you have horses, they are welcome to run in the arena a bit, then stay in the horse pens/shelter. Bring feed. Water available. Win-win! Contact owner for horse night rental and instructions. 253-358-0874. Please clean up with provided tools as directed prior to leaving. Thank you! Pets are allowed if they stay on a leash and are cleaned up after. Please also keep them quiet at night. Thank you! Please pull straight into the gravel arena parking lot. Then back your RV/trailer to the right of the arena driveway. Backing in to the right makes it easy to exit.

Super short stay for us at this campground as we had a change of plans, but I felt safe and instructions were clear. The host seems very kind as well. Would recommend!

Vickie our hostess was so kind and personable. We were in town for the Ellensburg rodeo and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. She left us a lovely welcome note and fresh flowers on the picnic table. She even provided us with some fresh veggies from her garden, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The grounds were spotless and well kept. Probably the best part was, after being outside all day, in close to 100 degree heat, they allowed us to use our generator, so we could sleep with air conditioning. We parked on the large gravel lot next to the arena, but there were shade trees next to the picnic table, so that was very nice. For future campers, it is best to be fully self contained for this site as there is no porta potty ( yet, coming soon) and no water ( except for horses). If you are travelling with horses, this spot is easily accessible off of I 90 and offers great pipe horse corrals with shelters and water and a large arena for turn out. It is a short drive to the Ellensburg rodeo grounds. We would definitely stay here again.
