The listing is for eight people on the property but if you choose to bring additional guest, it will be five dollars per night per guest ages 5 and above up to an additional 8 people for a total of 16 people. Payable directly to Bruce and Lynn at check out. Do NOT INCLUDE EXTRAS IN YOUR RENTAL FEE today. We do ask you to list everyone 5 and above so we know who will be on property. We ask that you remove your shoes while in yurts. Animals are welcome and they can be inside the yurts, but NOT on furniture/beds. Also, we provide doggie poo bags, and a shovel so pick up what they leave behind them.
We have a camp box that can be rented if you want to camp but do not have typical camping supplies. You can fish from our rivers edge, but you must have a fishing license and know the fishing regulations in order to not be fined.

We can't wait for you to experience this tiny house in the woods. Check back weekly to see our progress photos! We call this a treehouse but it's technically supported by posts (nicer to the trees). There is a fullsize high end queen memory foam bed on the upper floor. Yes, this is a 2 story treehouse! On the second floor there is also a children's sleeping loft which overlooks the rest of the bedroom. This loft is suitable for a small child or 2 but headroom is only a few feet. We found it also requires some youthfull agility to get up there.
A beautiful knotty alder slidding barn door leads from the bedroom to a private bathroom with pedestal sink and odorless composting toilet.
There is a small kitchen with a coffee maker, mini fridge, induction cooktop, mini crockpot, and enough dishes and glasses to enjoy a simple meal or drink. Water pressure in the kitchen and throughout is good!
There is a soaking tub on the main floor near the fireplace and TV with free Netflix. This luxury tub is sure to be a favorite amongst guests. I designed a non traditional floor plan knowing that this would be used primarily as a couples retreat. You can literally be soaking in the tub and watching TV by the fire while your significant other is preparing a meal in the kitchen all in the same space. We find the layout very romantic and unlike anything else out there.
There is also a large hot tub avalible for our guests near the main house. You are welcome to use this hot tub anytime if you don't mind it being by the main home.
Free Wifi. No cable TV but we supply Netflix on the hi-speed guest network. Guests will have free parking in our large circular driveway suitable for cars, trucks, or even RVs under 31ft.

We are located on South Whidbey Island, in a thickly forested area. You will be surrounded by tall fir trees and salal bushes, waking up to the birds' morning song. Just two miles from the Seaside Village of Langley, you are minutes from some of the best coffee and morning treats or a breezy rooftop dinner overlooking the Salish Sea.
We live on our property, and have kids, dogs and chickens. You may hear us working, animals making animal sounds, and the kids riding their bikes up and down the driveway. You are also welcome to wander and check out the trails. Our home is a short walk up the driveway from the camp site, and you can partially see it from your parking spot. We live in a small neighborhood of 5 acre parcels, the neighbors are quiet but their vehicles are visible through the trees when they drive past.
Whidbey Island is rural and therefore has spotty cell service. Some campers have said that their carrier does not get good cell service at our campsite, so be aware of that please. If needed, you can walk up to our yard where the sky is a little clearer to make a phone call or send a text.
Please only park vehicles and campers in the gravel parking area.
You are welcome to unplug the string of lights for a darker nighttime experience.

We can also provide a propane tank for $15.00 for 2 nights, grill is free to use.. For an additional fee, a wheel barrel full of good dry wood for $25.00 all payable directly to Bruce/Lynn at check out. We live on property but you’ll have 100% privacy at river. The listing is for eight people on the property but if you choose to bring additional guest, it will be five dollars per night per guest ages 5 and above up to an additional 8 people for a total of 16 people. Payable directly to Bruce and Lynn at check out. Do NOT INCLUDE EXTRAS IN YOUR RENTAL FEE today. We do ask you to list everyone 5 and above so we know who will be on property. We are a recycle family so please use our recycle bins, but you must take out your own garbage when you leave. We will provide you with two large garbage bags.
We ask that you remove your shoes while in yurts. Animals are welcome and they can be inside the yurts, but NOT on furniture/beds. Also, we provide doggie poo bags, and a shovel so pick up what they leave behind them.
We have a camp box that can be rented if you want to camp but do not have typical camping supplies. You can fish from our rivers edge, but you must have a fishing license and know the fishing regulations in order to not be fined.
For the 4th of July, min. 3-day rental is required. Please note neighbors can be very loud celebrating during this time. We cannot ask them to be quiet. This is recreational property so keep that in mind

We can't wait for you to experience this tiny house in the woods. Check back weekly to see our progress photos! We call this a treehouse but it's technically supported by posts (nicer to the trees). There is a fullsize high end queen memory foam bed on the upper floor. Yes, this is a 2 story treehouse! On the second floor there is also a children's sleeping loft which overlooks the rest of the bedroom. This loft is suitable for a small child or 2 but headroom is only a few feet. We found it also requires some youthfull agility to get up there.
A beautiful knotty alder slidding barn door leads from the bedroom to a private bathroom with pedestal sink and odorless composting toilet.
There is a small kitchen with a coffee maker, mini fridge, induction cooktop, mini crockpot, and enough dishes and glasses to enjoy a simple meal or drink. Water pressure in the kitchen and throughout is good!
There is a soaking tub on the main floor near the fireplace and TV with free Netflix. This luxury tub is sure to be a favorite amongst guests. I designed a non traditional floor plan knowing that this would be used primarily as a couples retreat. You can literally be soaking in the tub and watching TV by the fire while your significant other is preparing a meal in the kitchen all in the same space. We find the layout very romantic and unlike anything else out there.
There is also a large hot tub avalible for our guests near the main house. You are welcome to use this hot tub anytime if you don't mind it being by the main home.
Free Wifi. No cable TV but we supply Netflix on the hi-speed guest network. Guests will have free parking in our large circular driveway suitable for cars, trucks, or even RVs under 31ft.

We are located on South Whidbey Island, in a thickly forested area. You will be surrounded by tall fir trees and salal bushes, waking up to the birds' morning song. Just two miles from the Seaside Village of Langley, you are minutes from some of the best coffee and morning treats or a breezy rooftop dinner overlooking the Salish Sea.
We live on our property, and have kids, dogs and chickens. You may hear us working, animals making animal sounds, and the kids riding their bikes up and down the driveway. You are also welcome to wander and check out the trails. Our home is a short walk up the driveway from the camp site, and you can partially see it from your parking spot. We live in a small neighborhood of 5 acre parcels, the neighbors are quiet but their vehicles are visible through the trees when they drive past.
Whidbey Island is rural and therefore has spotty cell service. Some campers have said that their carrier does not get good cell service at our campsite, so be aware of that please. If needed, you can walk up to our yard where the sky is a little clearer to make a phone call or send a text.
Please only park vehicles and campers in the gravel parking area.
You are welcome to unplug the string of lights for a darker nighttime experience.

Really beautiful views of Mr Pilchuck during the time of year I went. My friends and I pitched tents and car camped at the riverside camp site. Marvin’s land is tranquil and beautiful. I fell asleep listening to the sounds of the river every night. Marvin was extremely generous and let us use the majority of the space on his property since we were the only campers at the time. There are perfect hammocking trees along the river’s edge. The property is almost entirely fenced to the next door properties but there are a few gaps that neighborhood dogs would often come to visit through. My friends, our dogs, and I had an amazing time and loved the experience Marvin’s land had to offer.

DeAnn was a wonderful host, she took me around her property and showed me around the trails and down to the water that runs through. She so kindly moved my reservation to the cabin since no one booked it for the dates I would be there, I appreciate the fully stocked kitchen, it had everything you could possibly need and some. The view from the living room was amazing! She even brought me fresh chicken eggs from a friend for $5! I would highly recommend staying here. DeAnn is such a sweetheart!

Impeccable views from the cabin. Comfortable and clean. The wood stove kept the cabin toasty on a chilly night. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, teas and spices. There is a delightful collection of Buddhist texts to peruse, which pairs very well with the clean mountain air.
We had a lovely stay.
I will say that sound travels extremely easily through the house, so bring a fan or white noise machine if you are a light sleeper. (Though when the weather is warmer you'll be able to open the windows and hear the sound of the nearby creek)

DeAnn is simply amazing and so is her gorgeous 3 bedroom, 2 story cabin! I highly recommend this place to everyone who loves being outdoors or in, with a spectacular view of the mountains and a creek on the property! We absolutely loved the wood burning fireplace that warmed both stories perfectly! The couch is super comfortable and it reclines as well! The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need and if it’s not there, you can run to the store 10 minutes away or DeAnn might even offer it to you if you ask! She is honestly the sweetest, generous, kind, friendly woman I’ve met in a long time! She makes you feel at home in every way! My kids and best friend can’t wait to go back, we miss it so much already, 2 days wasn’t enough at all! Thank you, DeAnn for being the nicest person on earth, and for blessing us with a super late check out for my son’s 21st birthday! We can’t wait to see you again and look forward to the hike down to the creek together again, what an amazing memory!

I had a great experience at this RV campsite and would definitely recommend it to other visitors. The site is well-maintained, peaceful, and thoughtfully laid out, making it easy to relax and enjoy the outdoors. It is spacious, clean, and provide a good level of privacy. Everything felt organized and well cared for, which made the stay comfortable and hassle-free. It’s clear that the campground is managed with attention to detail.
Although there is a nearby gun range, the gunfire was not an issue at all and did not interfere with our stay. Noise levels overall were very reasonable, and the atmosphere remained calm and enjoyable throughout our visit.
This is a great spot for anyone looking for a clean, comfortable RV campground with a relaxed environment. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others looking for a reliable and pleasant camping experience.
