For your Glamping and RV'ing Pleasure; The Landing at Lake Ploenta, a private, gated, resort-style destination, is offering lake-side safari tents and short-term RV spots. Each Tent rental includes a queen-sized bed, extra pop-up tent for the kids, fire pit, picnic table, and 2 adirondack deck chairs! Each RV site includes hookups, picnic tables, and drive through lot setup. Adjacent to the site is a lake with ducks, geese, bass, frogs, cattails, lily pads, and lots of ducklings and goslings in the springtime. The property is set in a beautiful forest-setting filled with ferns, vine maples, deer, & mossy green colors. Bring your fishing gear, and binoculars. Enjoy! Property Rules * Respect the land and tent as you would your own. * Don’t leave out food that could attract wildlife * Be mindful of any local fire bans and quiet hours * Keep valuables on you or secured in your vehicle Respect & Safety Don't carve your name into anything, or cut down trees. In general, treat the property and all the animals with respect.

Beautiful property. Easy to find but off the beaten path. Short walk to the river on a hot day. Host came to introduce themselves and see if we enjoyed our stay. Very nice. Highly recommend.

Magical!

Beautiful wooded setting! A gorgeous lake with a trail around it, complete with ducks, geese, bullfrogs, lilies and pads, cattails and reeds. You can fish and paddle around with small boats. There are trails everywhere. And horses grazing in one area. Don’t be surprised to hear a neighbor’s rooster crowing sometimes. Because they are still working on finishing their expansion plans, right now there are 4 short time RV sites. Others will be longer term. There are 2 safari type tents on platforms available in another section. There is a round dome/yurt in another section, with another under construction. Across from the lake is a beautiful wedding venue that is almost finished. Also under construction is a laundry room. When I first got there and setup my small trailer, I walked around and kept coming upon all those things I mentioned above. I didn’t expect to see things like that at a HipCamp and they felt magical to me 🤩😍. The owners and employees were great! I will be back. I can’t wait to see the property when they complete it 😁

Fern Gully Site 1, "Rugged Country"

Beautiful Campsite

I loved staying at the Landing. I would consider this site very dog friendly with all the trails. It was the perfect balance of natural wilderness with the added benefits of lodging. The sounds of the frogs, horses, chickens, mini lake and streams were very nice and added to the peaceful feel. It was great to not have to pack bedding and camp chairs. One thing I would note is plan to wake up earlier if you are a light sleeper, there is a loud rooster that crows throughout the day starting in the morning.

Fern Gully Site 1, "Rugged Country"

Great camping!

Stayed 4th of July weekend and had a great time! The tent was very clean and comfortable. I’m in a wheelchair and everything was mostly accessible. There are 3 stairs to get into the tent so I needed help with that but could get in and out of the tent fine, there was room to get by the bed, I easily fit next to the bed with space to move around. The bed is perfect transfer height. The property is beautiful. My husband caught 11 bass the 1st day we were there so he was happy. The owner was very nice and is making great improvements and am excited to see what he’s done next time around.

Peaceful oasis

I have never been somewhere so peaceful and quiet. The hosts were amazing and the property itself is gorgeous. They have done such a nice job with the rv sites and tent sites. The lake was wonderful to fish qnd stargaze. We caught one fish! Cant wait to come back!!

Wonderful and peaceful weekend

We had a great time testing out our new trailer! Beautiful property and my kids loved fishing for bass and feeding the ducks. Really friendly and helpful people on the property. They were in the process of building a little bridge over the lake, and it’s clear they’re continually trying to make the property even more awesome. Love the 50 amp hookup, you don’t see that often on private properties. Nice large space to back into. My 6 and 10 year olds enjoyed running around and exploring. We didn’t get a chance to walk the trail on the property, but it’s great to have another fun thing to do. There were two other RVs nearby but we didn’t hear them. Very relaxing and we enjoyed unplugging and wandering around. Not to mention the dump station on the property. Easy peasy! They have internet but it’s spotty, naturally. This place is a gem!
