For your Glamping and RV'ing Pleasure; The Landing at Lake Ploenta, a private, gated, resort-style destination, is offering lake-side safari tents and short-term RV spots. Each Tent rental includes a queen-sized bed, extra cot (if needed), fire pit, picnic table, and 2 adirondack deck chairs! Each RV site includes hookups, picnic tables, and drive through lot setup. Adjacent to the site is a lake with ducks, geese, bass, frogs, cattails, lily pads, and lots of ducklings and goslings in the springtime. The property is set in a beautiful forest-setting filled with ferns, vine maples, deer, & mossy green colors. Bring your fishing gear, and binoculars. Enjoy! Property Rules * Respect the land and tent as you would your own. * Don’t leave out food that could attract wildlife * Be mindful of any local fire bans and quiet hours * Keep valuables on you or secured in your vehicle Respect & Safety Don't carve your name into anything, or cut down trees. Fern Gully, Site 1 - Glamping at Lake Ploenta just got better. We have redecorated our sites! A main Queen Bed for 2 adults, Cot for a 3rd person, wood-burning stove, water cooler, outdoor firepit, and BBQ grill (you need to bring your own briquettes). Each Tent is built on a raised platform with Adirondack chairs and picnic table. There is one port-a-pot shared between both tents with motion sensor light and sink with running cold water. Sleeping Arrangements: The Queen Bed sleeps 2 and Cot sleeps 1, for a total of 3 inside the Tent. The beds are made up hotel style. Extra People at Site: If you would like to bring your own pop up tent for up to 3 kids or friends to set-up in the grassy orchard area, you can do so. **For the 4th, 5th, and 6th person at the tent site, we charge extra $12 per adult (14 and over) and $7 per kid (13 and under).** Extra child or infant under 5 is free. Dogs: Our property is pet friendly. Dogs should be on-leash, out of respect for other humans and animals (deer, rabbits, ducks). You can take your dog for a walk on the back 40 acres, or stroll around the lake. This is a brand new Yurt erected in the 2024 season. You will enjoy a Queen Bed on ground floor (sleeps 2), an extra cot (sleeps 1), and pull out Sofa Bed in the loft (sleeps 2--better for kids or smaller size adults). The Yurt is erected on a raised wooden platform, has a meadow view in a private forest setting, and is approx 380 sq ft of floor space. It comes equipped with a small kitchen including refrigerator, hot plate, tea kettle, dishes, and utensils. There are a few chairs for relaxing, it is a short distance to walk around lovely Lake Ploenta, and you can also hike the trails on the back forty acres. There is a sink and shower for washing. Bring your entire family to this great cabin with lots of room for fun and relaxation. Whether you're seeking Long walks on the peaceful manicured trails in the woods or Fishing, Bird Watching, Paddle Boating, BBQ-ing, Riding your horses, or just getting away from it all! We've got something for everyone. Horse and Pet Friendly. ADA accessible. Sleeping Arrangements: The cabin sleeps 7 comfortably, so you can bring the whole family or share the experience with friends. The Space: The Cabin is as a 3-bedroom, 1.5 bathroom guesthouse on 60 wooded acres. The main residence is nearby and is inhabited by the hostess and her family. So we are here if you ever need a thing! Water: The well water is treated and very good to drink and shower, although sometimes a bit of a well water odor. Guest access: The property is gated and will provide a gate code prior to your arrival. The entire property short of the shop/ maintenance area is open to our guests. The lake, the kayaks, the horse stables, the trails, the woods, basically everywhere on the grounds! Rate: The cost is at the calendar rate up to 7 guests. Pet Fee is $75.00 up to 2 dogs. Horse Fee is $25.00 per night up to 2 horses in Corral - Your feed. Our feed= $10.00 per day per horse. Other activities on the property: This is an active recreational property where we host wedding events, RV spots, and Glamping tent sites. It is generally low-key and peaceful, though. I stayed here for one week in August 2026. I work remotely from my travel trailer, so I was around quite a bit during that week. I saw some comings and goings and got a decent sense of activity on the property. There were a few campers there before I arrived and after I left, and three unoccupied spaces. One of those I took, one of them was taken by another party for the weekend only. The good: beautiful property, a lot more land and wildlife than there are people, plenty of trees and ground cover, and a beautiful setting. Not a lot of RV spaces and pretty quiet during the week, so there’s a lot less hustle bustle going on. The not as good: it is hard to tell from the listing and the filters here, but the sites do not have full hookups (they have water and electric only) and the community dump site is not on level ground. It was A LOT of effort to level and empty midweek and when I was leaving. Sites A2 and A3 are extremely narrow (could not fully extended by small awning), I would not recommend these for a camper. Site A1 has the most space and would have been the better choice. Cell service was hard to come by and I wasn’t able to connect to Wi-Fi, which wasn’t a big issue because I had Starlink with me.

Dragonfly Yurt
We had a great last minute experience at The Landing. The grounds are beautiful, especially the little lake, ducks, and deer. Our family of 5 was very comfortable in the yurt and it had everything we could have wished for. Mimi was wonderful and was quick to respond when we needed to purchase firewood and then again when we realized we didn't have matches. We will definitely be back to this relaxing, yet easy, camping experience in the woods.

Overall we had a great experience as 3 of my bridesmaids and I stayed in the yurt the day before my wedding. However, there were a few things that I wish I had known before booking, such as the glass door being broken and covered in plastic, the lock not working and having to use a bungee cord, as well as the WiFi not working when it was listed both online and in the yurt that there was WiFi. The WiFi was not a huge issue but it would have been nice to know that it was not working. We also were unsure if the blankets up in the loft were clean or not because they were in a large garbage bag. It was a lovely stay, but again, these few things would have been nice to know about. I do want to add that one of my girls forgot some of her things in all the getting for wedding crazy and the host was wonderful in helping us get her stuff back.

My husband and I had an amazing time in our little “Fern Gully” and would highly recommend it. It was so fun fishing off the shore and the scenery was absolutely beautiful. Everything was very thoughtfully put together and the attention to detail really stood out. The bedding was really comfortable and the tent had such a homey feel. We will absolutely be back and could not recommend it enough.

Sweet spot, tucked away but still close to bathroom, trail and lake. We slept great in the bed, very comfy. Hosts were super helpful with wood delivery and understanding of late arrival at 11:00 PM. Loved kayaking in the morning after coffee.

Wow what a nice spot! Very clean and has good amenities. The bed was comfy and the sounds of the frogs at night was very relaxing. Mimi was on it when it came to answering all of my questions. Got to grill steaks and make a fire at my site. The only thing I would point out is there really is no cell service. And the WiFi may be stronger on other parts of the property but I could not connect. Good excuse to unplug, but come prepared!

Dragonfly Yurt at The Landing at Lake Ploenta was fabulous! It was everything that was advertised and more. Our only disappointment was due to not FULLY reading the description which caused us to expect a flushing toilet rather than a portapotty. Mimi and Ryan are wonderful hosts and went way beyond expectations to make sure our needs were met. Our large family’s electric usage and food needs made cooking on the 2-burner electric stove trip breakers, so they proposed and provided alternate cooking methods (grills, propane stove) that made our 4-night stay truly memorable. We will definitely be returning.

It was a super quiet spot and if you’re looking for somewhere to lounge this is it. On the other side of it, my husband and I were there to fish and hike. “Lake” is a generous term and the amount of goose and duck poop everywhere didn’t allow my son to walk around. Plus the trails weren’t kept up so you couldn’t get onto them because of the blackberry bushes.

Absolutely loved staying in the Yurts! My son, wife, dog, and I felt extremely safe the entire time. Was really nice to listen to to the river and the lake and disconnect from the internet for a few days. It is a must to bring mosquito spray due to the lake being in close proximity. Fishing is fun but we didn't catch anything during our time there. Would come back again over and over.

This was our second time staying at The Landing, and it was just as wonderful as the first time! The hosts truly go out of their way to make campers feel welcome and comfortable. They added nice outdoor chairs and a table to the yurt deck while we were there. We appreciated the comfy beds and a twin cot was already out and made up for our daughter. The area around the yurt was spacious and quiet, with tons of privacy. Our family loved going on a hike through the woods there and enjoying strolling around the grounds. We just adore this place and can't wait to go back!

We had such a fun one night stay at the Fern Gully Tent (small yurt) site #1. It’s rustic but set up with just the right amenities - no electricity but there is a wood stove inside, a couple battery powers hanging lights, a solar lantern outside, charcoal grill, garbage can with garbage bags already set up for you and a lighter. The firepit has a grate on top as well which could be utilized for cooking. There’s the soothing sound of a creek running which is just behind the yurts and then on the other side a beautiful pond with all kinds of wildlife. We saw a goose and duck family with babies, some pet ducks which were extremely friendly and so cute and all kinds of wild birds abound. There’s a couple of different hiking trails nearby and a trail all around the pond to the other side where you can check out their venue. We will definitely be back to this tiny slice of heaven. We also met Mimi who was very welcoming and friendly.

Fern Gully is a perfect spot for group camping, off in the back of the property offered much privacy! Beautiful grounds and very serene! Many trails and the lake had many Bass, but too small this year to keep. Highly recommend!

The tent camping was perfect. Set at the back of the lake, it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. The host was so friendly and accommodating. We would highly recommend going out there to everyone.

Mimi's property was a hidden gem. We loved fishing in the lake, catch and release, large mouth bass. We reserved all 4 RV sites for 3 nights over Labor Day weekend. We had a fun day swimming at nearby Stillaguamish River, and a great dinner at nearby Nuttys Roadhouse Grill (no bar there, though) The Landing is best if you are able to rent all 4 sites together with family or friends. Though very ample sized, there's not too much privacy between the sites if you don't know your neighbors. Mimi was so sweet and gave us privacy and space. This gorgeous property is a Dreamland in progress. They've done so much to landscape and improve the already perfect natural space. Having a reunion or wedding there would be perfect!

Mimi’s property was perfect! It was easy to find but privately tucked away. The grounds were really well kept, the hiking trail was a nice size and marked. Mimi was easy to communicate with and responded quickly!
