RV Space A-2
Beautiful new campground
We loved the quiet forest setting. There were a lot of deer in the area. The hosts were very helpful. Everything was brand new.

RV Space A-3
Stunning natural beauty
It's a beautiful wooded space with plenty of room. The staff is incredibly nice and went out of their way to ensure I had a great stay. The property has a lot of natural beauty and plenty of space to hike and enjoy nature, both in the forest and around the pond. They are still actively building and improving so things are changing and it will be even better in the future no doubt.

Fern Gully Site 1, "Rugged Country"
Fern Gully Site 1 could have been a more pleasant campsite to visit. The property is huge, and that was nice. There is a wedding venue, a large pond, a river and lots of space. My husband and oldest went fishing and caught a bass (we catch and release), and our kiddo loved it. I was surprised to see that there was linen in the tent. There are faux fur blankets, pillows, and area rugs, which are not my favorite. It might have been the owner who handed me a faux fur pillowcase that had what looked like a chewed yogurt melt in it and a glitter star sticker stuck in the fur. That showed me that they do not clean the linen. I was really glad we brought our linen. The porta-potty water was really gross. Well, the toilet was fine, but the brown water and toilet paper in it wasn't fun. It seems like that is something they should have cleaned often. There wasn't any toilet paper or hand sanitizer, which I should have guessed because it is a campsite. I expected more since this is a personal campsite and not a forest site. While there was a nice side of the property, it wasn't all nice. Driving up to the site we had to go through an area that just looked run down and a site from Texas Chainsaw Massacre. There were old garages filled with what looked like junk. It was creepy. Not the owner's fault, but to top it all off, it rained the entire time we were there, which made the experience worse. The property seems to be lacking purpose. There is a lot going on and not in a good way.
