We had a wonderful time at Stacy and James' place on the river. It's a beautiful piece of property and the layout and set up were perfect for our group. There was plenty of room to spread out providing privacy while also maintaining the group feel that we like. We loved the giant fire pit and the gas grill made things super easy. Stacy and James were the best hosts we've ever encountered on HipCamp. They were so helpful and friendly and accommodating and they even helped us out through a bit of a scary situation on the river. They took such good care of us and our whole group loved them.

Stacy and James were great hosts, answering any questions we had very quickly. Their property is great, with a lot of amenities (water, electricity, clean porta-potties) that make camping more comfortable and a lot for kids to do (trampoline, tree swings, shallow water). The cart of wood was a good deal. We didn't even use it all after 3 nights.
I would warn future guests that are looking to get away from city noises that this property is right off of RT 530, and you will hear traffic (motorcycles, 18 wheelers) driving by all day and night. Some light sleepers in our group mentioned having a hard time sleeping some nights because of this. Bring bug spray, because some of my group got bitten up by mosquitos.

This spot was beautiful! It's right on a wide, shallow part of the river with plenty of space for our group of 30 to camp in the grass and among the trees. Very shady, flat tent sites, clean portos, and a nice shower too! The hosts were quiet, private, and kind. We had a great trip and would definitely go back!

Stacy and James were absolutely amazing hosts. Communication was top tier from beginning to end, and this was actually our second time bringing our large group camping here — both times were such a great experience.
To be completely honest, I’ve been reflecting a lot after this trip. Our group was very large, and with big groups, unexpected things can happen. We got a little too excited and there were moments where some rules were not followed as carefully as they should have been. Even though that, Stacy and James handled everything with so much flexibility, kindness, and understanding, and I’m incredibly grateful for that.
We’ve traveled and camped in many places, and while the location itself is already beautiful and worth choosing, what truly makes this place special is the warm communication and genuinely gracious hosts behind it. That combination is rare.
Thank you again for everything. You guys are truly the best! 🏕️🔥

Just incredible!! They do a bang up job making a fun and relaxing environment, so helpful too! Definitely would recommend to any group who can’t rough it but wants the energy of camping, this is the spot!!

Nice place by the river with a lot of space, to big tables with shade and a nice gazebo with mosquito nets.
Stacy is very quick to answer and very helpful.
The only drawback is the noise coming from there road uphill but that's manageable.
I recommend this place for camping.

We had a wonderful time at this campsite! One of the best parts was how easy and friendly the communication with the owner was — they were super helpful and made everything smooth from the start. Even though there were a lot of people camping at the same time, the space was wide and open, so it never felt crowded.
What we loved most was the shallow river right in front of the site — perfect for kids to safely play and have fun. It really made the experience special for the whole family.
We were also allowed to use a camper, chairs, and even extra firewood for a campfire, which made everything so much more comfortable and enjoyable.
Highly recommended for families and anyone looking to relax in nature with great support and plenty of room to enjoy.

Stacy’s property is a great place to stay! We were unfortunate enough to book it for the one weekend where it rained almost constantly for two days but luckily she has curated a space that can help you survive the rain. The views were beautiful, falling asleep to the river was so relaxing and the amenities were so generous and well kept. Would book again so we could enjoy it on sunny days and play in the river. Stacy was so nice and very communicative while also letting us have our own time on her space.

Clear directions to a beautiful riverside camp spot! Provided fridge/freezer to keep extra bags of ice was a very nice amenity! Overall great experience!

I recently stayed at this campsite and had a wonderful experience. The host was incredibly nice and communicated well throughout our stay. The location was perfect, offering stunning views and easy access. The grounds were beautifully kept, with convenient river access and a clean bathroom. The amenities were excellent, including a charming gazebo, a music player, and twinkle lights that added a magical touch. My kids and teenagers had a fantastic time, and we can't wait to return!
