Property is in a central location for ALL sorts of outdoor recreation. Has a Handicap porta Potty. Surfing, Hiking trails, Horseback riding, 4 Wheeling. Property is surrounded by TALL trees to provide shade and Privacy. Wild flowers and Blackberry bushes are a plenty as well. Come listen to the birds and enjoy the sounds of nature. The night sky provides a plethora of stars for optimal star gazing. SORRY NO TRAILERS OR Motor Homes. ONLY Camper Vans and Tents. Available Electric for; our Cabin TENT and site 3 &4 Only. Camper Vans. No Charging Electric VEHICLES. As of 8/08/2023 we also have a Propane Fire pit to use at the central fire pit area when the Burn Ban is on. Please operate safely and at your own Risk.

Camping at John's HipCamp was great! Only 10 min drive from the lake which made it soo convenient. I loved that there was a kitchen shack available and the propane fire pit. Our group had a great time.

Good spot, not too out of the way but quiet. Tent spaces are spread out and the fire pit and cook shack area is nice. Plenty of flat and soft grassy spots.

Serene and safe

We enjoyed camping at John's property. It was beautiful, quiet. John has picnic tables at each site and two clean port-a-potties. We would stay again for sure.

# 2 Tepee Tent

Pleasant and spacious!

We had a wonderful stay at John’s teepee! Available on short notice, very affordable, and very communicative throughout. We arrived just after dinner time to an easily marked drive and site. Shortly after our arrival, John happily greeted us with a pail of smores fixins and briefly chatted about the site expectations and amenities. Clean and really spacious, we highly recommend a stay at John’s teepee. Beautiful setting.

Camping on John’s land

Loved camping at John. Very helpful and friendly host. The land is a great space with good feel. I especially liked the short ride to the lake, the wonderful lake, and the cook shack.
