Private, wooded, flat areas for tents, plus two cabins and RV or van parking, all surrounded by gorgeous mountain views and located along the Skykomish River. All sites offer views of the river, with some looking through the trees and others enjoying wide-open vistas. A communal kitchen and fire pits are available, and some sites also feature private fire pits. 🏕️🔥 Located near a variety of outdoor activities, the property is just 1 mile from the town of Index and a 5-minute walk from the Mt. Index Sandbar Tavern 🍺, which is dog- and kid-friendly. It's also very close to the trailhead for Lake Serene.

Not private but great views
A-frame Cabin
The views of the river were beautiful. However, it appeared that Devon and Andrea's Glamping business was newly on hipcamp and were unprepared to host for the amount of sites they have listed. The A frame cabin, RV sites as well as one of the camp sites share two fire pits and are all in close proximity of each other. It could be re listed as "communal living" and be more suited for a large group occupying multiple sites. We ended up spending lots of unplanned time with the other campers as well as additional summer occupants when we were told no one would be at that site. Not the romantic getaway we were hoping for and would not recommend for queer/trans community (got some comments about "being brave" for coming there as two non-binary partnered people). Lots to explore in near by areas and we would recommend a trip to Index!

River front tent site
My friends and I had great time camping here, host Andrea is super cool and very responsive. This location has great views and all required amenities, only thing I missed a little bit - no tap water onsite so plan accordingly. Oh, and having a bar with beer served in walking distance was a cherry on top !
