We had an amazing weekend trip to Trevor’s place and highly recommend it! It is truly a hidden gem. We originally booked site 3 but as we were the only party there, ended up setting up camp at site 1. Playing in the river was the highlight of our visit- our dog and kids had a blast wading, and we watched fly fisherman catching fish. We went to Muse Vineyard across the river for wine flights and food- a must visit! Nearby Seven Turns State Park had an awesome park for the kids. The farm is very convenient to town for making a quick run for supplies or restaurants. Trevor was a friendly and helpful host. The property was well maintained and a pleasure to spend time at, and we really appreciated being able to let our dog roam off leash. We will definitely be back to explore nearby MTB trails and swim again!

We had an amazing time. Trevor was super accessible to answer any questions, our kids loved running around the big space and floating down the river. We walked over to the local winery, hiked across a suspension bridge and enjoyed s'mores by the fire. It was a perfect getaway!

Trevor was super nice and helpful. The space was great. The kids loved to tube up and down the super clean and clear river. Bring a truck so you can tote the tubes. We travelled with a group of 25+ and there was plenty of space. We played a mini-baseball game, went hiking, etc. We'll definitely be back.

Trevor was a great host, and we had an amazing time at this beautiful property by a serene river. The camping spot was fantastic, complete with a campfire. Tubing was a blast, offering the perfect way to cool off and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The scenery was gorgeous and peaceful. Additionally, there’s a winery nearby. I highly recommend this spot for a day of fun, nature, and relaxation! We highly recommend for anyone.

Firstly, the GPS directions provided did not lead us to the correct location, which caused some confusion and inconvenience. Secondly, we found that the property was not suitable for camping—it felt more like a typical backyard rather than a campsite.
Additionally, due to the presence of mosquitoes and flies, we had to leave the spot earlier than planned and return home.
We wanted to bring this to your attention, and we hope this feedback is helpful for future improvements.

We really enjoyed our stay at Trevor’s little hide away. It felt private and remote, but only minutes from Woodstock. It was a blanket of bluebells by the river, and sitting there by the campfire in the morning drinking our tea and coffee felt like bliss. Trevor was great host, very responsive, and we would (will) absolutely come back.

Trevors property is 100% secluded, quiet, and well kept. Many sites to choose from, river front, field, etc. If youre from VA, or just traveling through like I was, definitely stay here, you wont regret it. Thanks for the hospitality Trevor.

Great place, super quiet and convenient. The camping site was nice, close to the river and had lot of space between the other sites. The portable bathroom was a plus. Would definitely be back.

Great spot and had it all to ourselves. Trevor was great and checked in via text if we needed anything. River was too high for frolicking but we just had a ton of rain, so that happens.
Winery was a short walk over the bridge. Only heard crickets all night.

Trevor was a great host and we truly enjoyed our time at his family's property. The three river campsites are located within several dozen footsteps from the river's edge. My friend and I really enjoyed walking up to the swinging bridge and floating back to the property on a very shallow, lazy section of the Shenandoah. The town of Woodstock is within a mile or two and offers a few good food stops if you don't travel with a kitchen and food. Muse Vineyard is about a half-mile walk. Quiet, beautiful, easy access to food, right next to a river, and some great hikes within a short drive. Trevor's place is a great base camp.

Had an amazing stay at river 2. Was able to setup a North Face Wawona 6 next to the riverside but huge amount of space on the field if you’d prefer that. Two tubes available if you want to enjoy the river and disc golf already setup. Trevor was welcoming and the reservation process was quick and easy. First time trying Paw paws and all I can say is do not miss out on your chance to try this deliciousness. 5 out of 5 recommend this place.

Trevor's site was the perfect place to close out the summer with friends. We were three families with 6 kids between 3-7 who were endlessly entertained by playing in the river, gathering pawpaws, playing soccer and frisbee golf in the large field. Saturday night there was live music, possibly from the winery just across the the river, but otherwise we only heard the summer insects (no mosquitos for us) and the river and enjoyed the stars. Trevor provided 2 tubes, firewood, potable water, shower, and a tent toilet area. Would certainly come again.

Great spot by the river! Good fishing and tons of pawpaw fruit to forage for. The campsites are spaced out nicely and provide a lot of privacy. Trevor was friendly and welcoming and even brought us some pawpaws in the morning. You might even catch a guest appearance from his dog! 😄

Fantastic private spot right on the river! Trevor was so quick to respond and accomodate us, we really appreciated that!
Level spot for the camper, little frisbee golf hole that we enjoyed in the field, access to the river (my kids loved floating in the river!) super close to the town of Woodstock.

Great camp right on the river. Friendly host who gave a great overview of the place. Perfect spot for a weekend of camping and fishing. Restaurants and resupply options are just a few minutes drive despite feeling like you are in the middle of nowhere.

As usual I had the best camping experience. Always so quiet and peaceful. Trevor is always friendly and helpful. I've only found this campsite for barely over a month and have camped there probably 10 to 12 nights that should say something about this hipcamp .I'm planning again to come real soon.the river behind my rv has given me some really great fishing as well.

We absolutely loved tent camping at The farm! Trevor is an outstanding host, who went above and beyond multiple times throughout our trip. I held my birthday camping trip here and it was the best campsite for just that. Plenty of space to spread out, with lots shady trees to pitch our tents under. The river was easy to get to which was perfect for cooling off from the heat. My group did river floating from a nearby bridge and floated back to camp, and that was a blast. The views of the stars at night and mountains in the background were breathtaking. 10/10 would recommend Trevor’s campground to any and everyone!

11/10!!!!! We rented the 3 riverfront sites for our family of 5 and 2 dogs because I wanted it to be just us. The property exceeded all expectations: very large flat mowed area, open land and shade, nice forest area walk to the river, the riverfront was beautiful (we spent a lot of time anchored up floating); everyone had a blast. Will absolutely come again. Trevor was incredibly responsive and helpful via message and greeted us upon arrival (very nice guy!); didn’t see him again but he was just a message or 400 yard-ish walk away which was perfect. A wonderful stay all around 🥰🏕️

This place was beautiful. We boondocked with our travel trailer and used several tents. The place was spacious and clean. Trevor was super nice and easy to communicate with. We appreciate his attentiveness and also the privacy he gave us. Our only complaint was the toilet situation but this is super basic camping, not a resort. The river was easy to access and beautiful. We even had a mink running around and under our chairs while we sat there at the water which was super cool! The mosquitoes were there, but not bad at all. We will definitely be back next year. Even if there are other campers, the sites are very spaced out so you won't bother each other.

River three is a beautiful campsite on the edge of the property. The adjoining property is not occupied which provides quite a bit of privacy. Lots of shade made the campsite quite comfortable in the late June heat. The river access is the star of the show, a gentle slope guides you to the water’s edge with ample room for putting a chair in and your worries away.
