If your dog has a problem with other dogs that are new to them you must let us know so we can control our dogs. Our property was a small family farm for several generations. Our family purchased the property about 18 years ago. Since we are not farmers but love living here, the question became "What would be the best use for the land?" Living in a scenic area and already being in the vacation rental business on some other family property answered the question. We decided to share the beautiful view and seclusion of our area with others. Our goal was to keep the cost of building down so that we could pass on the savings to you so that you would not have to be rich to enjoy our lovely area. This inspired the idea of a glamping cabin. The cabin is actually a repurposed office building that was built about the time this property was purchased by our family. We moved it to the present location and completely remodelled it in 2018 and added the bathroom. For 4 years, guests enjoyed an off-the-grid experience. In 2023, when we began work on the glamping dome (stay tuned--coming soon!!), we decided to add electricity, running water, and a hot tub to the tiny house! We hope you enjoy the cabin (and, soon, the dome) and the stunning view from them as much as we enjoy sharing this beautiful spot with you! Note: The Charming Glamping Cabin is at a totally different property. That property also has a section that used to be farmed. Now a lot of it is forest. We purchased the property around 2000. This cabin was built approx. 10 years later. At that point, the cabin was a tiny economy cabin with a sofa bed. However, it seemed most folks preferred comfort over economy, so in 2020, we added a bump-out to the side of the cabin so there would be room for a queen bed. Guests have loved the improvement. Weekend Trip to Fourth Moon Camp

Really enjoyed the the camp! Its nice and quiet back behind the rocks and not far from the main trail head to the top of seneca rocks or the stores in town. Would definitely love to come back sometime. Wade was there to meet and greet us with the firewood already stacked and ready to go. Greatly appreciated his kindness and hospitality.

Weekend Trip to Fourth Moon Camp

Fourth Moon Camp was perfect. Nice and secluded but only a few minutes drive to a couple historic general stores with restaurants and everything you'd need. The Camp is literally right behind Seneca Rocks on a private property with amazing views. Wade was kind enough to stock us up with more than enough firewood and was super helpful prior to and during our arrival. We are already making plans to return!

Weekend Trip to Camp Holly

My friends and I had a great time at Cabin 3! The hosts were quick to respond to our inquiries, and the staff were friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The cabin can comfortably fit more than four people and still has plenty of space to move around. Both the indoor and outdoor bathrooms were clean. It’s the best place to relax, unwind, and enjoy good company. Highly recommend!

Weekend Trip to Revelle's River Resort

Spent a weekend during the fall season of 2025. Perfect cabin tucked away in a different section away from most of the RVs. The river runs next to it which will be wonderful during rains and when the water levels are up. We traveled as a family of 4 whereas the cabin can sleep 9 - 2 bunk beds for 4 kids. Elkins town is about 10 -15 minute drive for all groceries - Kroger, Walmart and all essentials. Strongly recommend for people who love to enjoy an RV park but want to maintain their own personal space..

Lovely spot. Had a great time stargazing and listening to the wildlife. Was really nice to see coopers rock during the day and stay in a quiet spot at night. Host was really nice and made sure we were comfortable but left us to it for the weekend.

Beautiful, peaceful spot! Conveniently located near the town of Parsons for quick runs to the gas station, McDonald’s, or Dollar General, yet still close to scenic nature trails and Blackwater Falls State Park. I felt very welcomed, and my space was respected throughout my stay. Plus, you can even bring your fur babies! I’ll definitely be back.

Spearmint Patch was a great little spot! We stayed during the fall and the foliage was beautiful. Our pups had an awesome time being able to be off leash. But hands down, you can’t beat the proximity of this campsite from the Seneca Rocks trails. Would definitely recommend to others interested in hitting the trail during their stay. The road did have more traffic than expected, but it seems like that was just the timing due to a project being done further up the roadway.

This capmground has beautiful sites by the river, or just a few steps from it! Unfortunately it was one night stay for me, but I really appreciated the cleanness of the Porta potties, and the coffee tent (for fee) I'll be back whenever I'm in the area

Weekend Trip to Brooklyn Heights Riverfront Camp

We tent camped in C Section site C24. The tent site was flat on the most part and very accommodating for two large (10-12 person) tents. The fire ring was large and firewood was very reasonable. Fill the cart as much as you can carry. No showers but porta potties nearby and kept very clean. I can't say enough about Vince and the staff. They were all so polite, walked around and checked sites prior to quiet time to be sure everyone complied, and to see if we needed anything. Knowing we had bad backs Seth was kind enough to bring us a load of wood. Was nice to meet the caretaker/maintenance man who was a previous Southern Marylander not to far from where we currently live. The river and beach area was beautiful.

Great family atmosphere and the store is stocked, we did not have luck catching fish but we had fun fishing. Weather was great. There is a lot to see around and great food nearby as well!
