That being said, small cars will get through when the creek is down. This is primitive camping. No toilet or shower our amenities are available.

The cabins are primitive, no electric or water. There are solar lights inside and and out also a propane wall heater for chilly nights. This is comfortable camping in the Beautiful Mountains of WV. There is a shower house with instant hot water and outside spigots for water, a porta potty, a fire-pit for cooking and camp fires at night while star gazing. The property is over 100 acres in Greenbrier county WV. There is a lot of history in this area. There are tons of wildlife on the property as well. We have awesome trails with GREAT Views for hiking or horse back riding should you decide to bring your own equine. Pets are allowed with prior notice (not to be left unattended in the cabins). We have a private dog park that you will have access to on the property. We also offer doggie daycare & boarding here at the farm (prior proof of vaccine is required) should you need our services. We also house horses/ponies/ goats/sheep/geese/ducks & chickens here on the farm. We are located 4 miles from downtown Lewisburg which has wonderful stores, antique shops and restaurants. Some of the attractions in town include Toot (taste of our town) , The Chocolate festival, WV State Fair, Carnegie Hall not to mention The Greenbrier Resort which is only 15 mins away. Also in the area is the Greenbrier River Trail 77 miles long for hiking, biking and horseback riding. Greenbrier State Forrest , Beartown State Park, Droop Mountain Battlefield State Park, Cranberry Glades Botanical Area, Scenic highway, Lost World Caverns & Pomona Salt Cave and Spa. What makes W.T. Farm special is the diversity of textures of the landscape. We have great mountain top views, as well as, a deep holler with cliffs, rock outcroppings, and waterfalls. The fields are full of fruit and nut trees and there are 5 ponds. Each of these supports its own flora and fauna. I acquired stewardship of this land 35 years ago and have developed perennial orchards wherever possible. I started with pears and have branched out into pawpaws, apples, persimmons, currants, black walnuts etc. and I boast that I planted the first commercial hickory oil orchard in the world. I am an eccentric horticulturalist and graft cultivar varieties onto existing trees like oaks, hickories, black walnuts, and even the maligned invasive honeysuckle, autumn olive and multiflora rose. Just last year I bought an adjoining farm that opened up 50 acres of more orchard planting. It is on top of the mountain and offers an expansive view of the valley and ridge system that defines our region. Funny thing is that because the land between the old farm and the new farm is divided by cliffs in the holler the only way to get from one to the other is a 12 minute drive or vigorous hiking. On this new land is a historic log cabin I am renovating that is said to be one of the original settler's cabin on the mountain. Because of the amount of tree fruit I grow and the varied landscape, there is a rich diversity of birds and animals to be seen. One of my favorite walks is along the cliffs to the top waterfall where there is a sweet wading pool. I have also built a number of ponds and four of them are quite swimmable. One has a dock and is where we spend much summer time refreshing and frolicking. The farm is also a small (very small) licensed farm winery and we make and sell traditional hard cider from our apples and pears. Our cider can be purchased along with our nut oils and flours and other farm produce you may not be familiar with. We live to eat. Coming here is a gastronomical adventure! I run the Acornucopia project from here and from it we are developing a foragers network that would very much suit the lifestyle of hipcampers. We pay foragers for wild nuts they gather. This area was known by the Native Americans as "Pocatalico" (land of the fat doe), and first settled by Europeans around 1890. The property itself was first settled by a man named Mayford Jones, who set the first stones here around 1910. A Jenny Lynn style farmhouse was built and the property was known as one of the best developed farms in the area. Today, the forest has returned to what was once pasture land on the majority of the 100 acre plot, and a small but intensive sustainable forest farm has been taking shape since 2013 under the current host and occupant, who prefers the term "steward" rather than "owner".

Absolutely love this place! I stayed on a Saturday in November, it was quiet so I can’t speak to busy periods. It’s a beautiful mixed camping space, uniquely designed with cool amenities everywhere from goats, libations, and food to bike rentals and a bike track. As a solo traveler, I felt safe, remote enough yet close enough to dining and the local town. It’s a gorgeous property with amenities and touches that most campgrounds can’t offer. I slept soundly beneath the stars, woke early, walked along the goats and enjoyed a warm shower in a warm bathroom. I highly recommend and look forward to visiting in the spring!

Excellent place to stay. I rented an RV pad close to the bathhouse for a chilly couple of days and it was clutch. The Bike Farm has everything you need; including firewood, a bar/restaurant, a bike shop and GOATS. It's also conveniently located near the town of Fayetteville and less than 5 minutes from the Bridge. Excellent stay during the down season.

The camp site was in a clearing along woodline in a secluded location. Very accommodating and scenic. I noticed each campsite was similarly situated affording privacy and good separation from the others. It was also extremely clean. The leaves had been blown clear of the path to the outhouse, which was well stocked with tp. The view of the nightsky was as advertised. I highly recommend this campsite for it's ease of access, beautiful location, and seclusion.

I'll just get these 2 negative things out of the way so someone else doesn't stay and give a bad review. Because it doesn't deserve a bad review, The place is Amazing, However if you're a light sleeper then a windy Autumn stay probably isn't for you because the leaves land on and slide down the roof and sides and its rather loud. Also something randomly flaps around on the roof in high winds making alota noise, The bed is super cozy, The place is very private and is just a relaxing environment to be in. Me and my Dog would stay again (Not in the Autumn 🤣)

I think this site is as-described in the listing! It’s a convenient location to several of the national park trailheads. The outhouse is cute and clean - you just take the trail that goes over the bridge and up the stone steps and you’ll find it (the tp is in the plastic tubs - I missed it at first!). I camped in my car just because the site is in a little rural neighborhood and directly across from a house - it seemed nice and safe, but as a single woman camper with my dog, I just felt more comfortable in a locked car. The only thing I’d change is maybe the fire pit walls being a little higher - it’s pretty low to the ground and I was worried about the sparks!

I came to camp on Tony’s land to specifically view the sunrise on October 25. It was the one month anniversary of losing my son, and I couldn’t have asked for any better way to spend it with him. In my opinion, the best place to view the sunrise is site 104, which is what i snagged. If you’re looking for a place with a view, this is it!
