Very nice private spot! We had both our dogs with us and there was plenty of room for them to explore. Nice level ground for tents, 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Amazing campsite! Beautiful setting with privacy and tons of space for tents. Easy walk from the parking area. We had such a fun time camping here with friends. It was 100x better than being smushed into a site on campground with limited space and unpreditable neighbors.

First Fall trip here, it was pretty great. Nice and quiet.
Could have used a bit more fire wood, it was 38 degrees and the surrounding woods are picked clean. Will be returning at some point 👍

Quaint and private location with plenty of easy access to amenities if you run out of/forget something. The immediate area doesn’t have any hiking trails so you’ll want to plan for that elsewhere but we enjoyed staying on the campsite. As others have said the parking lot is across the creek and up a hill so I wouldn’t recommend for folks with mobility issues. We used a beach wagon and had no issues. We purchased the firewood bundle and there was plenty for both nights. I didn’t find the host terribly responsive (he said he would share a map of the grounds and didn’t), but we really didn’t need the communication; getting there is fairly straightforward.

This was a really nice, private space. Immediate access to the creek, easy/clear instructions from the host, and it was clean and well kept. We loved finding a place that was dog-friendly where we wouldn't run into other dogs, since our dog is hit or miss with others. And both our dog and toddler love a creek. I was stung by some bees on the walk in (hazard of communing with nature - I don't blame the host for this!) and the host was available and quick with bee spray so we could safely enjoy the rest of our stay. He even helped us carry the rest of our items down so we could avoid passing by the bees again.
While we do recommend it, if you're a light sleeper, bring ear plugs. There's a fair amount of industrial noise (some low level mechanical hum that went on all night - probably from the nearby power plant, whistles from a train that seemed to pass every hour, and lots of owls, which we loved but it added to the things that kept me up!) My husband slept like a rock, though. With ear plugs I wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Second time I’ve been to Dans property, just as awesome as the first time! Short walk in to the site, the firewood was ready to go and plentiful, super relaxing. Definitely going to be my go-to spot for peace, quiet, and nature.

Absolutely phenomenal!
Dan was super accommodating and friendly, the site is gorgeous, listening to the water while enjoying the sounds of birds and peep toads. Doesn’t have that RV camping feeling. Can’t wait to come back 10/10

Fantastic location, was nice and quiet the whole time. Certainly felt completely secluded in the best way possible. The sight itself was absolutely gorgeous with a nice small creek running right by the site. The owner was very nice and friendly. Would love to come back again!

Dan was a great host and the property was really nice. The view of the farm with the horses was beautiful and even though Dan's family lives just up the road, we did not hear or see another person all weekend. Got pretty muddy from the rain but it dried up quickly and we had a great time.

Beautiful site! We loved the creek and the campfire ring was perfect. The directions to the site were very clear and we found it without trouble. We were prepared for the walk from the car down to the creek and across the bridge. I’m not sure I was completely prepared for how loud and how many trains would come by though- seriously about 5-6 between 9pm and 6am, blowing their horn each time for a crossing. I would definitely bring earplugs and maybe consider a sound machine if you have kids.

My wife, two dogs and I had a wonderful stay on Dan's property, which was beautiful and peaceful. We purchased the farm fresh eggs from the selectable services and Dan brought them to us in the morning. The walk from the car wasn't too bad and the motion lights down the hill and across the bridge were great because we arrived after dusk the first night. We would definitely stay again!

I just want to preface this by saying, we wish we had more time to stay at this site. Two nights was just not enough, but be aware that you should be prepared to haul your equipment down a fairly steep slope, across a bridge, and about 30 yards to your tenting site. We did so right after the rain so the slope and bridge were a bit difficult to navigate. Quite honestly, we didn't mind. We wanted to be well prepared and well fed for our weekend so we packed accordingly and had to lug all that to the site.
Our pup had the most fun running through the openness and the creek. The horses were so majestic in the morning sun and curiously kept watch while we ate our breakfast across the creek from them.
Overall 10/10 experience. Great hosts. Beautiful property. Will definitely book again and bring our loved ones with to enjoy as well.

This was a unique experience. The host was friendly and helpful. However, we were surprised to be camping in the shadows of the nuclear power plant. Train horns sounding a few times through the night were unexpected and discarded barrels in the creek running by our campsite were unfortunate. We appreciated the laughs we came away with and the proximity to Philly.

It was a great spot. Loved the proximity to the creek and how do you feel generally secluded. Hosts were also kind and helpful. Also cool seeing the horses in the distance. It is also smack dab in the middle of a very populated area however so you do hear tons of sounds throughout the night. From traffic to aircraft overhead. It’s also right next to a nuclear power plant For whatever that’s worth.
