Four acres nestled in the Sierra Nevada Foothills. We are located at 4200 Ft Elevation, just 3.5 miles from the top of the mountain with 360 degree lookouts. You're about 35 minutes from Historic downtown Nevada City, only 15 minutes from many Yuba River swimming holes, and about 6 miles to the Malakoff Diggins State Park. This property is fully off-grid, run on solar and back up generator. We are technically above snow line! So if you are trying to beat the heat it is about 5-10 degrees cooler at our location! This is a peaceful oasis for you to stay why explore the Sierra Nevada Mountains. We are creating a collective community vibe for nature lovers and explorers to have a safe and beautiful place to rest and share.

Ambulancia of Asters
It was such a joy staying on Kelly's land in the Ambulance of Asters. Such a sweet space and the land was beautiful. My daughter loved playing with the dogs and Kelly made sure she was having fun during our time! Close enough to things but far enough away too!

This site has potential but there are no flush toilets or private shower situation.

The Bus was cute and the place was quiet to getaway from the city. Kelly the host was really nice. We did however have to leave early. It was just really hot the weekend we went & we got a lot of mosquito bites. Although she did told us ahead of time we just did the bracelet repellent which is not enough. Bring a strong one if you can. There’s a lot of mosquitoes at night. We did had a great time cooking in the outdoor kitchen & meeting their Dogs. One even played with ours. We also enjoyed Oregon Creek that Kelly suggested. It was perfect to cool off on that hot day. If you’re looking for a simple off grid getaway then you will love this place.

Chill vibe, nice host, enjoyed the communal areas including kitchen. Host is happy to talk about the area.
