Bohemian Glamping Experience
First time glamping review
This was our first time “glamping” so we weren’t sure what to expect. Now we know that “glamping” is still just camping, except with a bigger tent and an actual bed. The shade hut was nice to hang out in though and the shower was also cool! But we were ill prepared for the amount of spiders and mice. Two things that you totally SHOULD expect to see when CAMPING. The tree swing was fun! I’m sad I waited until our last day to try it. And having a fridge and a coffee maker was nice. But if you can only fall asleep to the sound of crickets, then this place is NOT for you. The bullfrogs are unreal! They make sounds ranging from “beginner trombone player” to actual frog to “accidental bathtub fart”. When we first arrived at camp (in the dark of the night) and heard the frogs, I wondered if it was an elk or a cow I was hearing. Nope. A bullfrog. You quickly get used to it. And luckily I sleep with earplugs anyway, but even still, it was loud. The only real complaint I have is that the boat was so dirty we didn’t use it. We honestly could have easily sprayed it out, but my husband wasn’t too stoked on paddling around the very murky water. Someone left a review about staying at this camp when it was raining. I bet that would be magical! I’d recommend a springtime stay. While we were there (June) it was kind of hot and muggy.
John was a very hospitable host. We had everything we needed.
Maybe just calibrate your expectations a little if you decide to give Duck Pond Glamping a try.

We loved it!
We had a great time! It was raining for our stay and this place couldn’t have been more perfect for that! It was serene and peaceful but yet fun for the kids! We had a great time! Loved seeing the frogs and other wild life. The heater in the tent was giving the perfect amount of warmth. The paddle boat is such a nice touch!

Bohemian Glamping Experience
Fun quiet getaway
My family of 4 had so much here. We stayed 2nights and my son asked if we could stay longer lol. Great set up. Private, quiet, and relaxing.
Tent included plenty of pillows and blankets, candles, and a few games. Would recommend bringing crocs or sandals so you can slip them off easily when getting in/out of tent.
Kitchen included sink (water from hose) and camp stove. Deck was nice for kids to play on while mom& dad could sit enjoying coffee.
My kids enjoyed exploring around the pond and feeding the ducks. I felt comfortable having my kids explore the area (with dad) and still being within earshot-no getting lost or stranger danger.
We had such a good time here we can’t wait to come back.
