Had a lovely, restorative time at The Haven. I needed a quiet place to escape to so I could catch up on admin work. My partner ended up joining me and we both got so much work done. It's very peaceful, private, and green! The outdoor shower/tub and kitchen make it so we spent almost all of our time outside. Which really helps one reset! Naomi was out of town - but very responsive and helpful. I hope to come back again!

My partner and I enjoyed our stay at the Haven! It was calm, serene and very peaceful. Naomi was very communicative over text to make sure things ran smoothly and we appreciated the assortment of teas and pour over coffee in the morning

Came here to de stress from work. The peaceful environment surrounded with lush greenery and the sound of rain definitely helped. Highly recommend this retreat, especially with a short commute from South Bay.
The host, Naomi, is very kind and welcoming and left a parting gift of pineapple guavas for my trip back home.

My friend and I loved our time in this beautiful beautiful space. It's serene and quiet and so lovely. Its really conveniently located — feels peaceful and removed but close to many of the places we wanted to visit (downtown Santa Cruz, point lobos, and Carmel). The outside kitchen was super cute to enjoy breakfast and dinner. And they have the cutest Alpacas!!!!!! That truly made our stay. The room was comfortable as well! The host was lovely and accommodating! We felt pretty taken care off! It was an overall great time!

We enjoy our stay at happy valley haven, the room was very clean and cossy, we loved the outdoor kitchen and the sauna was great. This place is very quiet and surrounded by nature that creates a relaxing atmosphere.

The Haven is a peaceful, cozy gem (and a convenient for getting to the Soquel MTB trails). Naomi warmly welcomed me and my partner when we arrived and then we had plenty of privacy. The outdoor kitchen is absolutely delightful, the bedroom is comfortable and the bathroom is clean. Watching the sunset over the trees in the valley while winding down with a cup of tea was heavenly. Would absolutely return!

Naomi was a very kind and welcoming host. My wife and I enjoyed the location of the property - less than 15min from downtown Santa Cruz, but it felt very private and peaceful. The outdoor kitchen was very well built out, and we were able to use it for multiple meals. Worth noting that the HipCamp butts right up against the hosts’ house - though the windows were covered for privacy.

We loved the true “Zen” of this site! It was an amazing little area that has EVERYTHING and so much more than we imagined. The kitchenette was BEAUTIFUL. The room was cute, quiet, and comfortable. The bathroom and shower area was clean! This area is a hidden gem not too far away but perfect enough to feel private!

I had a great time at Haven! It felt private enough and was nice and peaceful. It rained while I was staying and that was no problem - the covered kitchen was a nice, dry place to enjoy watching the rain. Naomi was a great host, I’d happily stay again!

11/10 stay. Fantastic accommodations, super clean, and tons of fine little touches. What a treat to sleep peacefully and truly relax away from “the grid”. Parking was easy, we felt very safe, welcome, private, and at home. Kitchen is to die for! Cannot say enough about this place. We really loved it.

Loved our stay, everything was perfect. A beautiful, quiet and clean place, surrounded by nature, thoughtful touches and gentle animals. We treated ourselves to a massage outside, which was phenomenal. Enjoyed the outdoor shower and the tub outside and the infrared sauna. The outdoor kitchen was beautiful. I loved preparing and eating the food outside. Beautiful touches, very kind and responsive hosts. I am looking forward to a next visit. My visit was perfect. Thank you Naomi, Annette and Johnny. We look forward to a tour of your farm, some hiking and a sound bath next time. Thank you for sharing your beautiful place on Happy Valley with us.

I loved staying here! The land was beautiful and the accommodations were comfortable and clean. The bedroom was cute and stayed cool, despite the heat wave while we visited. The towels and sheets were extremely soft too. There were lots of thoughtful touches- as the host kindly got us cream for our coffee, nice vanity mirrors in the bedroom and bathroom, and comfy chairs to sit in outside. We also loved the outdoor shower! I highly recommend staying here. It was a peaceful and restorative experience.

My stay at The Haven was peaceful and nourishing. The space is super cute, clean, quiet, and private. I loved the outside kitchen, outside shower (with hot water!) and the redwood deck where I spent most of my time journaling, practicing yoga, and sipping tea. My most favorite part of all, was falling asleep and walking up to the beautiful trees and gentle breeze.
Naomi was so nice and helpful. Although I didn’t get a chance to meet her in person, she was available to any questions I had through text.
I highly recommend The Haven and I hope to visit again soon!

Wow, I'm so glad we found this place! It's only 12 minutes to Santa Cruz, but you feel like you're in another world. It's so quiet and peaceful, so we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The outdoor shower was my favorite part!
We were to out and about to meet Naomi in person, but her communication before the trip was amazing, and we felt right at home when we arrived.

Naomi’s place was cute and fun. The outdoor kitchen was clean and user friendly. We would have loved to stay a bit longer, but we didn’t have time. We would highly recommend the Haven to other Hipcampers!

We absolutely loved The Haven! You feel immersed in nature but with great amenities, including a very comfy bed. The property is beautiful, with lovely touches like wind chimes and crystal rocks. We were only in town briefly and had to get up early for a race, so we didn’t get to enjoy all the amenities as much as we would’ve liked. We definitely hope to come back soon for a longer stay!

We loved staying at the haven! The cabin was cozy and cute and we loved the outdoor shower and kitchenette - they have everything you need plus add ons like delicious eggs. Naomi was very nice and communicative. We were close to town but still felt secluded in the beautiful redwoods. We would definitely stay here if we go to Santa Cruz again!

I felt an indescribable magic from the land upon arriving. Naomi and her husband were very warm and down to earth. We enjoyed talking to them and getting to know their story/the property. We loved our stay at Naomi’s! It was a truly perfect haven in the Santa Cruz area. Close to everything we wanted to do and the perfect spot to relax after a long beach day/hike. Will definitely be back to stay! Especially loved the animals and fresh plums from the tree <3

What a perfect little getaway the Haven is. The outdoor wood-counter kitchen is magical with fresh herbs within a reach. We spent most of our time here cooking meals, listening to tunes, and playing cards while llamas sang lullabies to us. The room was just big enough and the bed was comfier than the marriot we stayed in earlier that week. Lots of flowers to sniff and gnomes to see. And only 10 minutes into Santa Cruz. Only Three to the Mystery Spot, a must see if you like roadside attractions.

Spent a quiet night here before a trail race in Santa Cruz. Serene setting. Grateful for the coffee and half and half in the adorable outdoor kitchen to help me wake up in the morning!

I had a great time staying at Naomi's propert! Prior to my stay, she was very helpful with her communication and even gave local recommendations. The property itself was very charming, clean, and serene. I honestly felt myself enter a bit of a meditative state at the start of my stay due to the calming ambiance haha. This isn't a critique, but the host's house was closer to the property than I expected although you can see that in the pictures if you analyze them enough. It wasn't an issue though as the property still felt very private. I would definitely stay again if I register the area!

Naomi's Haven was an amazing experience. We had everything we needed set in a beautiful wooded area. All the plants and animals were busy. The kitchen was wonderful and bedroom large enough. You could easily sleep in because it is so quiet. It is not far from downtown Santa Cruz but far enough away you don't hear it. I am so glad we picked the location to stay. We had a nice talk with Naomi on the last day.
