A few acres of natural land. There is a seasonal creek running through the area. It's a very quiet area. It's primitive, natural and we love it that way. The creek runs into the Cleveland national forest and down to the Mesa Grande Indian reservation. There is hiking and exploring! Come throw a tent up in one of the two camp sites or a hammock in the trees.. Hike the nature preserves in Santa Ysabel. Go to Wynola enjoy craft beverages, Josie's live music off the 76. Or just enjoy the peacefulness of the forest here and hike and reset your mind. The top 13 are residential, the bottom 40 will be open for exploring, camping, hiking and gardening! We are new homesteaders trying to do things more organically and real free range for our animals. We have a farm on the top 13 acres with cows, pigs, goats, sheep and chickens. More animals will come soon. We will eventually like to offer food from our farm to our guests. That way they can actually see where the food comes from and how ours raised!

It was a very beautiful campsite with lots of rock climbing, and cool spots to explore. Even in the winter it was still beautiful. There are about 3-4 campsites it seems and each campsite is far enough from the next to have privacy. In the spring you can probably swim in the creak. The animals were so cute it was so fun to be able to pet them and explore the property. They had turkeys, bunnies, ducks, chickens, pigs, cows, goats, a lot of dogs and cats.

We had a wonderful time staying on Ea’s land. It was so beautiful to be by the creek. It was a much needed connection with nature for me, my husband, and our 2 year old. We can’t wait to camp here again! We packed a little too heavy for the hike to the camp site but now we know to pack lighter next time.

This campsite was a delightful place to stay! The property is incredibly beautiful and perfect for exploring with your pup. My German Shorthaired Pointer had a fantastic time exploring the surrounding area and burning off some energy. While it did take a couple of trips to bring in and out all our gear, it was well worth our two-day stay. We had an 8'x14' tent, which is the largest I'd recommend for the laydown area. There was a gentle slope, but it didn't pose much inconvenience for setting up. The host was highly responsive and ensured our stay was truly enjoyable.

Beautiful animals and beautiful land! Had a great time with my partner. We got to explore the creek filled with so many critters. The load in is a bit tough so I suggest packing light to lessen the trips up and down. Julian is nearby too! We went to the pumpkin patches, picked some berries and drank fresh cider. Then the nights get so serene with the sounds of frogs and crickets with the light of the night sky.

Sleeping with the goats
Great experience with the animals!
This is a great place to come with your family. Hands down the friendliest animals we've ever met. There are young cows, lots of goats, fluffy dogs and puppies, and pigs running around the property. So much fun! There was also a big trampoline for the kids to jump on. Just check below to make sure there are no napping goats underneath!
