Very humble meadow with some firepits scattered around the edges. Easy to find, easy to access. No assigned sites, so pick a spot and set up. We, unfortunately, picked a time where it was raining so that was a bummer. But, it also seemed that no one else was around so we had it to ourselves. Very nice. The Rail Trail Cafe is also a unique feature, and came to life the next morning with an active pizzeria, a great deal of folks hanging about, and even music. We enjoyed this twist in an otherwise quiet area. We didn't think it would open due to the weather, but sure enough it did. If you're someone who really like solitude, I would imagine this place might not be for you. The campsite itself might be prone to noise from passing people and distant cars. So if you enjoy a more active area, then this is definitely the spot. Also a bike trail goes right through the cafe and campsite area. A very active trail as well with bikers and hikers alike. Also the bathroom is surprisingly large. Also very nice. We are already strongly considering coming back for a longer period to fully enjoy what this site has to offer.
