This was my father's favorite place to be in the summer. He loved watching the hummingbirds early in the season and the leaf turn in the fall. We hope you and your guests will enjoy staying here as much as our family has.
Five acre private lakefront property surrounded by trees. Cement pad for your RV or trailer. 50-amp and full hookups. Bring your own converter if less than 30 amps. Large fire pit (supply your own firewood). Recently refurbished private dock. Four-wheel trails and rental companies nearby. Short drive from the Namekagon River which is great for tubing, kayaking, canoeing, and swimming.
Due to a recent review, I am also adding here that swimming from our property is not ideal. The lake tends to be weedy during warm summers. There are places to swim nearby, so if you are booking with the sole intent of being able to swim, please be aware that this is likely not the best site for you unless you are willing to drive to a nearby beach.

West of Taylors Falls. Dan bought this property with the intention of growing stone fruits (plums, peaches, apricots and
cherries) using sustainable and organic practices because health and wellness matter to them! They are still in the process of improving their property. Many of the building on the property were in poor condition, including the old barn foundation which is now one of Dan and Danielle favorite places to keep cool in the summer. After they had excavated all the debris (which took years) they were able to transform it with gardens and fire pit for all to enjoy. They love sharing what they have been blessed with! +Composting Toilet: We have a simple, rustic composting toilet for your convenience. Please be sure to read the instructions inside. We try to keep it as clean and fresh as possible, but be aware it’s a basic setup.
+Fresh Local Food: If you’re here during the season, you can purchase fresh produce directly from us or from our neighbors. Lindstrom has a local meat shop, and you can grab essentials and snacks at Rod’s Country Corner. There’s always something to make your camp meals extra special.

--Wildlife: Black bears do live in the area, so please make sure all food is stored securely in your car at night. We want to keep everyone safe and the bears wild!
--Weather: Rural weather can be unpredictable, pop-up storms are common. Be sure to check forecasts, and keep rain gear handy. Tents are subject to wind, so make sure your setup is sturdy.
--Quiet Hours: We value our peace and quiet here, so please respect our designated quiet time after sundown. It's a time to unwind and enjoy the stars.
__No Smoking/No Pets: For the comfort all guests and to maintain a clean farm environment, we do not allow smoking (either tobacco or marijuana) or pets on the property, avoid bringing glass bottles to prevent accidents.

We are renting out our gorgeous river property located on the Chippewa River in Exeland, WI!! Our 5-acre property is equipped with electricity and power pedestals for multiple RVs, lots of space for outdoor games, a campfire area surrounded by string lights, and newly-constructed steps down to the river. There is a deep swimming hole out in front of the property, great for fishing too, and a boat landing across the river for putting in kayaks and fishing boats. Right off our river bank, we have caught muskys, catfish, smallmouth bass, and northern. We have four kayaks and two paddleboards included with the rental and firewood. There is also direct ATV and UTV access from County Highway Rd D to multiple trails heading towards the Blue Hills and endless trails heading to the UP. Enjoy our back lot for a private campsite which borders a prairie preserve. Watch the deer come in the morning and evening and listen to our friendly, happy hens cluck away, not to mention all the beautiful song birds. We are happy to share our golf clubs and balls to hit a few into the field. Our kids love it!
Tree coverage along with an open field. We cut the field to offer a walking trail to the prairie preserve. There is a tree surronded, very private tent site for tenters, but if you have a camper you can find a spot that works best for you! (The tent site is very private and a camper would not fit.)
We are a short 10 min drive to Stillwater but there is so much to do in Somerset! Take a walk around the prairie preserve and kayak down the apple river, but don’t forget the local brewery and boutique shop. There is some great fishing on local lakes in the area as well. We offer a 30 amp electric hook up and our hose for water. We also have a shower tent with a camping porta potty.

We had such a wonderful stay at this campsite. It was quiet, beautiful, and incredibly peaceful — the perfect place to relax and clear your mind. Being right by the water made it even more calming and enjoyable.
My partner and I came here for a few days away, and it gave us the chance to truly unwind and reconnect without the usual distractions. The atmosphere was so relaxing, and we left feeling even closer as a couple.
If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway to recharge and enjoy nature, this is the perfect spot. We will definitely be booking again in the future!

A beautiful place! We had a great time there. The cabin is really nicely set up, no uncertainties while there. Naomi’s directions and details were perfect. Many nice settings to gather: the big kitchen table, main room, fire pit. We had a big fresh ol’ hike on the trails surrounding the property. What a beautiful property! We loved camping in an oak grove in the fall time - golden and heavenly! The lake was beautiful, and even though it's the weather wasn't conducive to swimming, we thoroughly enjoyed reading on the dock. Everything about the site was as described and made camping with our 34' fifth wheel a breeze. We will be back!
