This is a gorgeous park-like RV campground situated between the trees of the arboretum. No tents, please. Also we have NO public restrooms. Beautiful view of the mountains and forests here in western Washington. We are close to Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Rainier and several lakes. There are walking trails all around the site. The 12 acre campground is located on a 136 acre property that is an active Christmas tree farm. Trails continue throughout the tree farm. Many trails have a view of the Tilton River, which can be reached via a challenging 3/4 mile trail. Sites are on 10 acres planted with many different species of trees that are about 30 years old. Giant Redwoods, Cedars, and Maples are just a few of the varieties present. Part of the farm is still a working Christmas tree farm. The trails are wide and grassy. The old logging road that we use as a trail to the river has an elevation change of about 500 feet, the trail can be quite challenging. Bear Creek empties into the Tilton river at the end of the trail. There is an ART GALLERY where you can learn to pound flowers, see the host's artwork and get a cup of coffee! This is upstairs above the shop, right on the property. Tilton River Studio Gallery. Three sites have electrical hookups. A little about Orting - Nestled in the foothills of Mt Rainier between the Puyallup and Carbon Rivers, Orting is a quaint Turn-of-the-Century village that you will not forget. The town center is anchored by three parks filled with giant maples and evergreens. You will be awed by the view of Mt. Rainier from Washington Avenue. The levees on the east and west sides of town are perfect for hikes along the rivers. The 20 mile Foothills Trail meanders right through the middle of town and then takes you along the Carbon River levee. Bike, walk, take the stroller and the family pet. Enjoy the turn-of-the-century architecture of downtown and eat at one of the 15 restaurants. If your timing is right you can take part in the Daffodil festival and parade the first Saturday of April. The Kingsmen Car show comes to town the third Saturday in June. Then there is the Pumpkin festival the second weekend of October. Finally the year is capped off with the Christmas festival throughout December. Then there are the many foot and bike races that take place on the foothills trail throughout the year. This is a gorgeous park-like RV campground situated between the trees of the arboretum. No tents, please. Also we have NO public restrooms. Beautiful view of the mountains and forests here in western Washington. We are close to Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Rainier and several lakes. There are walking trails all around the site. The 12 acre campground is located on a 136 acre property that is an active Christmas tree farm. Trails continue throughout the tree farm. Many trails have a view of the Tilton River, which can be reached via a challenging 3/4 mile trail. Sites are on 10 acres planted with many different species of trees that are about 30 years old. Giant Redwoods, Cedars, and Maples are just a few of the varieties present. Part of the farm is still a working Christmas tree farm. The trails are wide and grassy. The old logging road that we use as a trail to the river has an elevation change of about 500 feet, the trail can be quite challenging. Bear Creek empties into the Tilton river at the end of the trail. There is an ART GALLERY where you can learn to pound flowers, see the host's artwork and get a cup of coffee! This is upstairs above the shop, right on the property. Tilton River Studio Gallery. Three sites have electrical hookups. Eight minutes off SR 18 lies 11 acres of mostly undeveloped land. Dean's is a beautiful, bare-bones place to rest. Our main driveway is CLOSED this year for repairs. We have alternate arrival instructions for you after you book. These instructions add about 7 minutes (totaling 8 minutes) from SR 18 to the campground. Our location is convenient. We are just minutes from Auburn city limits. Road noise, planes, Pacific Raceways, and freight trains are audible here even if muffled by the trees. Our distant neighbors occasionally indulge in target shooting. We have a brand new neighborhood in construction on one of our property lines. In order to provide safety and peace, hosts live just outside the campground and closely manage happenings. All our sites have 2-4 persons occupancy in hopes of deterring parties. Our quiet hours are 8pm-8am so we can rest up for the next day’s adventures. Propane stoves are welcome during fire bans. We do not have a check in cut-off time. Reservations do need to be made before midnight. We have zero tolerance for hateful, abusive, or discriminatory behavior toward people, belongings, and wildlife. Weekend Trip to Hood Canal Oyster Farm | Lilliwaup

We had a wonderful overnight stay at Jim's Hood Canal Oyster Farm. We originally booked site #2 but Jim contacted us prior to our arrival and invited us to stay at site #1 which became available. We were lucky to have the place to ourselves over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. All three sites are very well kept, peaceful, and private. The hookups worked perfectly, and our 21' class C RV had no issues with the short steep climb to the site. Site #1 is the largest and we loved the herb garden and table. I did notice that site #3 is more private and would have fit our RV with no issues. We hope to be back soon. We can't thank Jim enough for the absolutely delicious oysters from his farm.

This was a lovely place to camp with an incredible view! Level parking for our 25 foot trailer. There is some slight highway 101 noise, but nothing that would keep us from returning. It was a misty weekend, so we hunkered in most of the time. The clouds amongst the trees made for a beautiful view. We enjoyed going into the very small town to the Tipsy Whale for nice cider and beers. Mostly, we toured around and enjoyed the sea lions, seals, and many birds.

This place is awesome! Dawson has done an amazing job with creating the space. It has everything you could need! You can really tell a lot of thought has gone into the place and a lot of work has been involved. We had the best time and were so cozy together. We were lucky to have rain over night and it was so peaceful listening to the rain on the roof as we fell asleep. The directions provided made it very easy to find and a couple of wagons and a lantern are available to help you get your things out to the cabin. As we came in November, we didn’t get the opportunity to use the outdoor space. But we still braved using the shower and it’s worth it, so toasty and incredible views! Inside is cozy and comfortable. The kitchenette has everything you could need. That bed though! So comfy, as someone who deals with chronic pain, I really appreciate how comfortable the bed is! It was really nice to get off grid a little and put our phones away for the night. We had such a good time we are definitely looking to come back again next year in the summer hopefully! If you get the chance to stay here, do it!

This was our second time staying at Steve and Starla’s campsite! The property is spacious and well kept, also close to the Mt. Rainier park entrance. Although the weather this time was not ideal, our group had a great time during our trip. Thank you to Steve for suggesting site 2 which is a little higher ground and surrounded by trees to keep us a little drier during our stay. The hosts were able to answer any questions we had in a timely manner. Overall I would highly recommend this campsite. Thank you again for hosting us and wish you well in the future!

We loved staying at David's camp. I would recommend the green table picnic site if you want some privacy. And in our case where we needed both yellow and pink sites for a large froup of 15 people - it was just a perfect camping experience witha pleasant surprise of amazing 2 swings etc! The air was so pure and we enjoyed the beutiful view especially at sunrise!
