Amazing experience. My boyfriend and I are first time pop up camper owners, and Bumps & Bruzas was our first destination. Very cool owner and beautiful property. Our spot on the water was perfect for our 14 foot pop up. Made lots of memories in 2 days. Loved the art all over the property, and loved the army of frenchies. Definitely will come back again!

Loved being able to stay at such a great little local place, and I will be returning. Based on older reviews, I was slightly concerned before arrival, but now, having visited the location, there has been SO much work done and still more to come, as there was construction taking place on cabins.
The bathrooms are a standout as they are clean and work well. The shower has some issues when locating the hot water, but it can be done, and the pressure is great. The dogs are super friendly and do not intrude on your camping space at all after your initial arrival. The ground itself is very hard, making it tough to place tent stakes in the ground. I also highly recommend a sleeping pad when using a tent. Although there was a mix-up with our booking, Pat was quick to explain and made accommodations to upgrade us to the premier campsite everyone comes for.

A Perfect Riverside Getaway!
We recently stayed at this RV site and couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. The location is absolutely beautiful, with a peaceful river running right alongside the campground — perfect for relaxing, fishing, or just enjoying the soothing sounds of nature.
One of the biggest highlights was how clean and well-maintained the bathroom and toilet facilities were. It’s rare to find restrooms this spotless at a campground. You can tell the staff takes pride in keeping everything in top shape.
The sites were spacious, easy to access, and provided just the right balance of privacy and community. Whether you’re looking for a quiet escape or a base for outdoor adventures, this spot is a great choice.
We’ll definitely be back! Highly recommended for anyone who values cleanliness, nature, and a serene riverside atmosphere..

The host was responded quickly and the accommodations were great - the bathrooms were very clean. However, you are camping in someone's backyard, which is very close to a busy road with car noise. It's also below a flight path, so planes were flying overhead. There was a sweet pack of dogs there to greet you; however, one of them rested his head on one of our laps and left a dead tick. The dogs would also bark every time we walked to the bathroom and there were multiple piles of poop by our campsite. The address they have listed in the directions takes you to the wrong location. Once you get there, it is confusing figuring out where to drive and how to exit. The river was very fast, so you couldn't fish or swim. A lot of the site looks like it's under renovation. Seems like it has a lot of potential, but unfortunately the pictures were a bit misleading and it wasn't the forest getaway we were hoping for.

This is one of the best get-aways from the city life! We felt very safe here even though it's like being in the middle of pure nature. The river, eagles and small wildlife was a joy to watch. The sound of the river, I slept so peacefully.

Loved that there was room for our 17' trailer and our friends small tent trailer. Beautiful by the river! Friendly hosts and well behaved property dogs. Nice clean bathrooms and great artwork all over the property. Host offered for us to pick back worries which the kids loved!!

The sound of the river puts you right to sleep. Quite little spot. Squeezed my 32 ‘ camper in. I would not recommend anything over 30’. Cool rocks in the river.

The place was located in a nice town, however it very much felt like you were just in a backyard, there was little to no privacy, and the view they advertised was only visible from one of their campsites offered. The rest of the areas were completely covered by brush. The sound of the river was nice though. The bathroom was actually great, warm water and stocked with toilet paper. The herd of dogs are friendly but will jump for your food so be careful to keep your things on tables. There is little to no grass and is mostly rock so it is nearly impossible to camp without a floor mat or to hook your tent into the ground. The neighbors are a little weird and kept yelling over to us. Overall is a nice play to stay for a short time but would not recommend for long camping trips, it’s just not worth it without the view.

Great location. Easy to get in and out of area. I can honestly say I slept like a baby. I enjoyed sitting near the river listening, watching it was very mesmerizing to say the least.
I love it. The property is like walking through a museum with beauty and wonder. The bathrooms were clean and stocked with TP. Just needed some soap. Only cold water, works for me.
We had a small child who wore a life jacket when near river. The adults sat on a rock near shore water freezing. You will see people walking the shallow areas but we didn’t venture out that far. Next time. We were in a very rocky area with music from the river playing the entire time.
Appreciated the picnic table and fire pit which we burned all the time. Nearby coffee shops with stores and some restaurants places to grab a bit within 4 miles. Makes it so much more awesome.
No one bothered us at all. We like that.
Only one drawback
Check out time ugh. I bought my day to tag along with my daughters for a total of 2 days and one night. I just wanted to leave when I was good and ready so I did.

we decided to camp here because it was one of the few campgrounds around rainier that we could book on a Memorial Day weekend. Turns out it was an excellent campground that is more private with great shower/toilet/sink facilities. We also loved that it was close to the river.

Pat is very laid back, flexible, and welcoming! The property rests on the shores of a beautiful, fast-flowing river, and the sounds of nature are all around (it was especially wonderful falling asleep to the sound of the birds, and the flowing water). The sites were level and all on the water (there were both tents and small RVs there when we visited), and the location was very close to our event at the Washington State Fair!
The amenities included 3 or 4 bathroom stalls, a warm shower and a wheelbarrow of split and seasoned firewood was only $20!

The place is both good and bad.
The Good: The hosts were friendly. The actual campsite was mowed, sizeable, and easy to drive up to and use. The river and mountain behind the river was beautiful and majestic. The bathroom was functional, clean, and close-by. The space is safe for toddlers with supervision. We had a great time.
The Bad: the campsite is literally a few feet away from several houses. The photos on the campsite are obviously old. For example, the piano is currently covered with junk. There are random pieces of junk on the site: an old bathtub, an unused camper, etc. You only feel like you're in nature if you look at a certain angle at the river. Otherwise, you feel like you're in an overcrowded set of backyards with junk scattered through them.

A great time. We parked the van in a lovely spot on the levee, and had our chairs inches from the waters edge. The next day we walk a mile or so up the trail that is just across the street, and put in a big floaty, and spent three hours floating (mostly very slowly) back to the sandbar about 50 yds below our site. Pat was super friendly and so were the five silly doggos. It was a great place for us to connect.

Friendly communication. Decent spot(s) all along gravel extended driveway that parallels the carbon river. Nice bathrooms and decent shower a little walk from sites. Potable water. The river is a nice background noise. House dogs wander into your site which can be fine for some people. Decent camping experience for a Hipcamp site!

We were not able to camp due to unseen circumstances. I had messaged the host with a question and never received a response. Communication was good prior to booking however after booking there was no communication.

My famTribe was so sad when Bumps and Bruzs closed the closed and as soon as we found it had re-open we made it a mission to return. The location is close to all of our homes the feel of being in woods but having amenities just 10 mins away you can't beat it.
This for us has been some of our best memories and as long as they are open we will return!!

I really enjoyed car camping here! It was really easy to get set up and parked. The river was beautiful and Pat was super helpful! As a solo female, I felt very safe here even though I was the only camper! I will definitely stay here again :)

We had a good time at this spot! We booked the whole place out for our family & everyone enjoyed. This place mostly has 2 spots that have a river view each with its own fire pit (the remaining you can probably skip and not worth it). We were a part of 9 and pitched over 3 tents with ample space. All the camp spots are level, so great for camping but car needs to be parked in parking area and not at the campsite (so you need to haul your gear). The property is currently under construction being converted into a wedding venue and there is no easy access to the river. The river is gorgeous, and great for relaxing on a hot day. The sites can be a little more maintained but good to relax by the riverfront. The host was really nice and accommodating.
