It has running water, electricity, a king sized bed, a tiny kitchen and a bathroom. We installed cedar ceilings throughout the bus which makes it feel (and smell) very cozy. Robert Cedar Haven

2 sites · Lodging1 acre · Olympia, WA
hello happy camper(s)! i’ve lived over 30 years on this slice of heaven in northeast olympia. it is a somewhat rural setting, with most homes having 5 acres, mine being grandfathered in with .79 many of my neighbors have farm animals, my immediate neighbor has sheep, geese, chickens and more - some have horses and cattle. this area used to be mainly strawberry farms. i love being only 10 minutes from town, but a bit out in the sticks (in the county, not city limits.) the proximity to a 22-mile bike path was one of the draws for me to purchase this property. my cute, cozy studio space is on the back corner of my property - 60 paces (120 feet?) from where you will park on my driveway. for nimble and or small folk, the studio has a sleeping loft with full-sized comfy foam mattress (but not lots of headroom) for the rest of us, an ikea twin mattress on ground level. you will find: good vibes, plenty of light, a tea kettle, 1.6 cubic foot mini-fridge (no freezer), a couple of gallons of drinking water, one small electric burner, a new table, ample electric radiator heater, wool carpet over much of the cement floor, a compost toilet with a make-shift hand washing sink (the studio is not plumbed) and much more. outside there is a covered area for you to sit and enjoy that morning coffee, a porch like swing under wisteria trellis and a funky table you could use to set up a camp-stove on (if you bring one.) you won't find: towels, bedding, pillows, tv, books or an entertainment center. there is some minimal meal prep items- a small pot and pan, some utensils, but you may want to bring more of your own! you will find a quiet, safe and comfy place to relax and unwind!

Coffee Creek Community & Gardens

4 sites · Lodging11 acres · Centralia, WA
Coffee Creek is an intentional community and working farm on the north side of Centralia, Washington. While our 11 acres feels very secluded, we are just 3 miles from historic downtown and 10 minutes from the freeway and shopping. An accessible oasis! There is a park with swimming, fishing and hiking along the Skookumchuck river within a mile of the farm, in addition to the natural beauty found right here at home. We enjoy bird watching, exploring our forest, and relaxing around a fire when we aren't working on the farm. Seasonal Strawberries and pastured poultry are our specialties, and we offer a wide variety of veggies and fruits. Farm fresh eggs are almost always available and we have organic meats to purchase and grill.

Steamboat Meadows

7 sites · Lodging, RVs, Tents5 acres · Olympia, WA
Thanks for checking out our little sanctuary, nestled upon 5 acres near the tip of the Steamboat Peninsula. Steamboat Meadows offers campers a stress free and an affordable option. Currently with 5 campsites (only 1 site currently available until we open up the remaining sites on September 15th). Two of the new sites will be much different than anything we've offered in the past. We're working on the finishing touches to "Terrapin Suite", a 640sqft barn structure, yet modern and fully furnished. Terrapin Suite offers incredible views and all the amenities commonly found in a tiny home. The second site coming in the late spring of 2024, is a glamping site with a Canvas Bell tent, queen bed, spring water, rugs, solar power, and electric cook surface. Please note: for the remainder of September we will relocating a few sites to offer a more private and wilderness like experience. Additionally, we want to ensure that our neighbors enjoy the serenity they live here for. This is a space to recreate, but most importantly a space to "get away" and reset. All guests have access to WIFI-, private indoor bathroom with shower, and chill room to relax, charge devices and plan your next adventure. During fire bans, NO FIRES WILL BE ALLLOWED. Propane stoves may be used in the gravel driveway or on tables. Campers are invited to walk the property which has a couple short hiking loops in the back and hammocks for relaxing. Campground offers activities for chill time, which include table tennis, corn hole and a 4 hole disc golf course. On hot days, we also have a misting tent surrounded by fruit trees. During your stay, you'll be in the sweet spot and just 1.5 hours to either Mount Rainer and/or Olympic National Parks. 20 minutes from Olympia, 5 minutes to the local Steamboat General Store. Steamboat Meadows will be closing for the season at the end of September. During our seasonal closure, we will building two new loop trails through the forest and a board walk to better experience the wetlands. Other improvements include, aerial shade structures, locally milled handmade benches, and LED wide angle UV lighting for easy navigation on the property. Please contact us if you have any questions. More photos coming soon. Cheers, Rob

PNW Lakeside Yurt

1 site · Lodging1 acre · Shelton, WA
My grandpa bought this property in 1946. It has the best SW exposure. We often occupy the little cabin next door but are sharing the yurt with others. The yurt has a big deck and a bigger dock. We have no well or septic because the property has a lot of waterfront but not enough land overall. A porta potty is on site and shared the cabin and we provide drinking water. The yurt has a queen bed and a leatherette futon. The lake is stocked with trout and is usually over 70° by June and averages about 76° most of the summer. We have a floating island to swim to. Boating activity is kind of crazy on weekends. Be cautious of the waves. The driveway is a bit awkward and you need to back out. No big motorhomes! There is parking for 2 cars.

Secluded Olympic Cabin ☜(゚ヮ゚☜)

1 site · Lodging2 acres · Brinnon, WA
Incredible location! This sweet cabin is nestled at the base of Mt. Jupiter, directly between Dosewallips beach and the Olympic national Park. There's lots of gorgeous, mossy maples, shaggy cedars, and elk herds roaming free. The Cabin is easily accessible from the road, and has parking available. There's a secluded fire pit behind the cabin with a seasonal stream running by. Its a relaxing place to hang out for a few days, and/or excellent basecamp to explore the amazing forests, mountains, and beaches nearby. Also, there's lots of great foraging to be done (nettles, mushrooms, and oysters; oh my!) GPS LOCATION: When driving to the cabin, your GPS will tell you that 'your destination is on the left'. This is a lie. The cabin will be on the right. There is a metal gate that is closed with a chain but not locked. CABIN LAYOUT AND SLEEPING AMENITIES: The Cabin is just a little guy; only 16'x20'. There is a kitchen, living room, and dining room area, and the bathroom is a separate room - we call it our 'studio cabin'. We have a fold out couch for which we provide linens, pillows, and a comforter. There is also an inflatable mattress that is a tight squeeze, but can allow for four people to sleep (with a little furniture rearranging). There is a deck that is large enough for a two person tent that would also make a four person camp-out comfortable. All linens and towels are stored in the trunk and the bathroom cabinet. There is a 4' round dining room table with four chairs and a small table on the porch with two more chairs. All the cushions for the chairs are in a cabinet under the table inside. ACCESSIBILITY: Unfortunately, the cabin is not wheelchair accessible. There are 5 stairs up to the deck and the bathroom door is only 27" wide. SURROUNDING AREA: There are small trails leading away from the cabin; do not walk down them! They lead to neighboring properties and I cannot guarantee that there won't be neighbors who would be very surprised by a stranger showing up on their land! There are lots of public trails only a few minutes drive in either direction from the property :) STOLEN LAND: This property is on stolen, indigenous land. If you are Coast Salish or Makah, please get in touch with me for a discounted stay.
